Overview
While fighting Axel Gear at the end of world 3, I kept encountering an error where he would launch his charging rocket attack and get stuck at various ricochet points. This makes it extremely easy to defeat him, but makes it impossible to win with the “special” condition of him hitting himself with the purple homing attack needed to unlock hard mode.To fix this, I discovered that opening the Windows Xbox/GameBar overlay causes him to move to his next place in the attack (he gets stuck in 2 places, so you have to open and close the overlay twice). I’m not sure what the default hotkey for this is for everyone, but I’ve been playing this game with a Logitech F310 Gamepad, and the middle “Logitech” button opens it for me. I think there’s a way to configure this hotkey in Windows.Good luck!
