Overview
We will be using console commands to “win” spore. In my mind, these are the 3 most effective ways to do this… Let’s dive right in! ={[(Warning! Preparation and decision
There are 3 (in my opinion) extremely effective ways to conquer the galaxy. One being terraforming/terrasculpting. Another being wise spending, and finally, killing everything. After deciding your scheme, it’s time to prepare. Pres Ctrl+Shift+C (Control+Shift+C) to open the console. Now is where you decide your ability. Type, ” setconsequencetrait space_ ” and then the desired archtype. If you chose spender, type “trader” after the underscore ( _ ), it should be, “setconsequencetrait space_trader”. ( Yes, I know, but I didn’t want to put the period there, because that is NOT part of the command. ) If you chose terraformer, you want to type “setconsequencetrait space_shaman”, and then “spaceCreate”. Finally, if you chose to descimate the galaxy, you want to type (any of these will work) “setconsequencetrait space_warior”, “setconsequencetrait space_scientist”, “setconsequencetrait space_knight”, OR “setconsequencetrait space_warior”. After setting your archtype, type “unlockSuperWeapons” and you’re ready ready to begin. (If you want a full list, here it is;
moreMoney – $1000000 in space or civilization
refillMotives – Replenish your health along with other motives.
unlockSuperWeapons – Super Weapons are unlocked with this cheat code.
addDNA – Get 150 DNA points.
freeCam – Toggle a Free Cam around.
capturePlanetGIF – Captures and saves a spinning image of your planet which is then saved in your “AnimatedAvatars” directory.
antiAliasGIF – Captures and saves spinning GIF of the planet you are on and dumps to AnimatedAvatars directory
SetTime – Setting the time for your Avatar’s position, and can also be a speed multiplier.
Killallhints – Gets rid of all hints.
freedom[on / off] – Toggles, disables (on) or re-enables (off) editor complexity limits. Creations that break the limits will not be pollinated!
help – List of commands (cheats).
help -full – More detailed description of commands.
option – Option list.
prop – Display/Modify properties.
clear – Clear console.
levels – Level Cheats.
levels -unlock – Unlock all phases. Jump to any phase with this cheat. Some achievements may not be gained if you choose to use this code.
history – Gives you a list of your last commands.
spaceCreate – Unlocks and recharges creation tools while playing in space.
pauseUIVisible – Sets or toggles whether the pause frame is drawn.
toggleCaptureUI – Toggles UI for image capture.
movie – Video cheat.
styleFilter -oilPaint – Unique Spore look.
styleFilter -filmNoir – Black-white look
styleFilter -none – Deactivate all filters.
quit – Quit game.
setConsequenceTrait (add a trait name) – Add any of the following names after setConsequenceTrait without the brackets.

Taking action
If your chosen archtype is trader, and you have chosen to spend your way to victory, then some more cheats are already in order. Type “moreMoney” up to 100 times (each gives you 1,000,000. This will leave you with $11,000,000 sporebucks, this will give you 3 promotions, and 6 badges. (All 5 stars of “Golden Touch” and “Joker.”) With your new money and ability, buying galaxies is easy, you just have to be friends. The most effective way to friend a creature is to:
- Introduce yourself with peace (1st option)
- Gift $100,000
- Establish a trade route
After this, they will have accepted you trade route. As a trader, instantly finish it, and buy for max price; this guarantees success of purchase. Repeat many times.
Your second option is to terraform. If you chose this path, and pay attention, you should already have most terraforming tools. Now, these don’t really do much damage, they just make the locals really, really mad. So, instead, use the “Cloud vacuum,” “Cloud accumulator,” “Heat ray,” or “Refrigeration ray.” The Cloud Vacuum; This requires the Empire (badge) 2 or the Terra-Wrangler 2 badge.

You can use these to modify the T-Score of a planet. Lowering the T-Score of any alien planet will eventually kill it and its residents. If the planet is grox, increase the T-Score, they can only live in the minimum T-Score; T-0.
Now, your 3rd and final path is destruction. The abilities to the classes given in the last section are: Scientist = gravitation wave of destruction; Knight = mini UFO; Warrior = raider rally (calls in raiders and pirates to kil and steal from empires.) If you switch between scientist, then warrior, all building will be destroyed, AND raided and killed by pirates. Reapeat with all enemies. (hint: using the command when you already have that archtype/trait recharges instantly (all classes))
To the center of the galaxy, and beyond!!!
*Claps* Well, you made it, I’m proud… but grox is very alive, and you need to teach them a lesson… here’s how.
TRADER
Grox doesn’t allow trading… Period. Strangely enough, it’ll trade galaxies for sporebucks, just not the goods… use this to your advantage. How to ally grox (without being hated): Give them ALOT of money, do missions, happiness ray, trade route… just, whatever you do, don’t forem an alliance. Insta finish, repeat.
TERRAFORMER
Grox can only sustain life on planets which have T-Scores below 1. T-1, -2, and T-3 planets mean death. Repeat.
Warrior
Using scientist class, destroy a planet using grav wave, replenish ability, repeat. Repetition is futile, because they regen. Quick, fast, hastily. Or, raid all their planets, or, have a pack of 3, you, and a mini UFO destroy each planet. The grox are strong, so be quick, and be out.
