Beating The Troll

Overview

This will guide you through beating “The Troll”. “The Troll” is the first overworld boss you will come in contact with if you head right of the map. Reading this will show you tips and how to avoid the damage caused by the boss for its special moves.

Attacking

How To Damage
The Troll has a glowing stone on its back. You will need to throw your spear at it inbetween attacks to damage it. The key is to take your time and not rush trying to hit it, or its attacks may just kill you.

How Long Does It Take?
The Troll will finally die at around 6 hits to the stone. Though you should take your time and be patient or else its attacks may end up killing you.

Avoiding Pink Water

What is the Pink Water?

The Troll will throw Pink Water which will try to trap the player. Once the player has been trapped, the boss will then proceed to use another attack on you. The pink water does not cause any damage if trapped, the idea is only to trap you so then damage can then be caused to you by an attack.

Avoiding

The Pink water will split up in the air and you will be able to tell where it lands to avoid the water. You can either jump out of the way or if you are on the ground you can use your shield and hold it torwards the pink water thus stopping it from having any effect.

Avoiding The Arm Smash

What Is the Arm Smash?

The Troll will use both his arms and smash the map causing a mass amount of damage to the player. This is the most dangerous attack considering the damage. Though it is easily avoidable.

Avoiding

This arm smash is easily avoidable and can be seen coming a while before it occurs. To avoid the Arm Smash move to the left of the map by the thorn wall and it will not reach you.

Avoiding Thorns

What Are the Thorns?

Thorns are the pointy plants that come up from the ground and cause damage. Their are multiple places to avoid the thorns.

Avoiding

The thorns will start shaking before they rise. Simply when you see them start shaking, find a place where a thorn isn’t and stand there. Such as the one in the attached images.
