Best "Heavy stealth armor" and a few tips to play with it for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Best “Heavy stealth armor” and a few tips to play with it

Overview

I give an example of one of the best armor to be as good in steath as in combat, and a few tips to play with it.

One of the best heavy stealth armor

I didn’t find any info on an armor like that, just “best stealth gear” or “best heavy gear”. But in this game you have to play stealth even for main quests, and you have to fight against several oponents even for main quest. So this is one of the best heavy stealth armor, with which you can play both.
The armor is heavy enough to win a combat against anything (i killed 50 rattay guards with it) and is close in “stealth abilites” to the best stealth armors. Honestly with high enough stealth (only 10+) i don’t see the difference.

Where to find each pieces

Aachen dark brigandine – Rattay – Armorer
Lords of Leipa gauntlets – “Rattay Tourney”
Black (Brown?) hood/Dark Waffenrocks – Bandits
Dark Saxon gambeson – Rattay – Armorer
Golded spurs – Neuhof – Horse trader
Tight Red Hose – A bandit can be found wearing one in the Ore Processing Yard, south of Skalitz.
Hounskull – High level bandits (Example : If found one on the ‘boss’ in “Robber Barons” quest, but it seems to be random.)
Mail chausses – Rattay – Armorer
Mail coif (11 14 8 armor version) – Rattay – Armorer
Necklace (0 Noise) – in a chest of the bandit camp in “Robber Barons” quest
Padded black coif – Bandits
Saxon composite chausses – Rattay – Armorer
Quiet dark shoes – Rattay – Cobbler
Silver sing (there is a better ring at the end of the “Restless Spirits” quest) – Bandits
Simple plate pauldrons – Rattay – Armorer

Note : You can take any heavy hemlet instead of the Hounskull, I just took it because he had one of the (if not the) highest armor value.

Some interesting perks

After you trained a lot with captain bernard, you need a way to raise your stealth. I found a good, and rather fun way to raise it fastly. First you have to find a bandit/cuman camp, and kill every soldier except one. Best way is to knocked one at the beginning of the fight. If one flee it’s good enough too, he will come back.
Anyway, once you knocked this one, remove all his cloths and weapons, then … go a bit further and wait about 20 minutes that he wakes up, then go behind him and stealth knock him out, and repeat.
You should do this up to 8 stealth to unlock the Slim Fit perk.

2 other perks are really useful for this kind of gameplay :
Maintenance – Stuffing – Level 10 – Less noise (vital)
Hunting – Forester – Level 10 – Less conspicuousness and visibility in forests.

Random tips

Combat tips
When someone is fleeing don’t tackle him, when you’re close to him crouch and “stealth knock him out”. This will save you some time and raise your stealth ability. + you avoid a combat, and you can do the same with several fleeing enemies at once.
The master strike : Before doing this I only did them once in a while. Then I understood. To do them much more often you have to follow the weapon movements of the enemies, not the center of the screen where the green shield appears because it will appear after the enemy began his attack !. So as soon as the enemy moves his weapon, click block and you will block with perfect timing.
Stealth tips
You should open chests whenever you can, even if you don’t take anything in the chest, because lockpicking is long to train.
You can buy 10 lockpicks to Votava in Talmberg
The lockpick perk – Luck of the Drunk is very useful, with this perk you can open chests way over your lockpick skill if you drink alcohool
All tied NPC or crouched NPC can be “stealth killed/knocked out” so if an enemy surrender you can just go behind him and use your “stealth abilities”…
