Overview
A very simple solution to get better graphics for Final Fantasy XIII.
NVIDIA DSR
Dynamic Super Resolution renders a game at a higher, more detailed resolution and intelligently shrinks the result back down to the resolution of your monitor, giving you 4K-quality graphics on an HD screen.
Final Fantasy XIII with enhanced graphics
Before we can set Dynamic Super Resolution we first need to determine whether our GPU supports it. This table shows the currently supported DSR cards and was taken from this website: [link]
To make the game graphics better the only thing you need to to do is to enable Dynamic Super Resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Follow these steps in the guide to eanble Dynamic Super Resolution.
1. On the desktop right mouse click->NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. In the control panel go to Manage 3D Settings. Find DSR – Factors on the Global Settings Tab. Select the multiplier of your choice. Mine is set on 4.00x (native resolution) then click Apply. Finally close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
3. Launch Final Fantasy XIII. In the resolution dropdown menu you should see your new resolution. Mine is 3840 x 2160.
