ReShade Visual Mod

WHAT’S THIS DO?

ReShade is an effects suite that lets you add various post processing effects to most games.
The files below contains a easy-to-install version with my custom tweaks and settings to pretty the game up without going overboard.

HDR lighting (Boosts colors and contrast while keeping with the original look of HFF)
FXAA & SMAA (Smoothes edges in the EDIT/Painting menus!)
LumaSharpen (Gives the game a crisp look and balances out FXAA)
Vignette (adds a slight darkness around the corners of the screen) Can be toggled with the PAUSE key

INSTALLATION:
  • Download my custom ReShade:
    DOWNLOAD[www.dropbox.com]
    MIRROR: wwwDOTmediafireDOTcom/file/zwgye3k5dep251o/HumanFallFlatVisualMod.zip

  • place all the contents into your HFF directory: …SteamsteamappscommonHuman Fall Flat
  • Open “opengl32.ini” with Notepad and change the first four lines under [General] to match your HFF installation directory.
(I put C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonHuman Fall Flat as the default)
IN-GAME KEYS:
  • SCROLL LOCK – Toggle all ReShade effects.
  • PAUSE – Toggle the Vignette effect
  • SHIFT + F2 – Opens ReShade menu for tweaking (not recommended)

Nvidia Control Panel

WHAT’S THIS DO?

If you have an Nvidia graphic card, you can use the Control Panel to tweak various visual settings in any 3D program. If not, your graphics card may have its own similar program.

HOW?
  • Right-click your Desktop and click “NVIDIA Control Panel”
    1. “Manage 3D Settings”
    2. “Program Settings”
    3. “Add”
    4. If Human.exe doesn’t appear on the list of recent programs, Browse to your HFF directory:
      …SteamsteamappscommonHuman Fall Flat
      and choose Human.exe
    5. You can then choose different settings and see what looks/runs best for you, but here are my changes:
Anisotropic Filtering: 16x (clearer far away textures)
Multi-Frame Sampled SAA (MFAA): On (better AA)
Texture Filtering – Quality: High Quality (pretty obvious…)
    6. Hit Apply

    …and that’s that!
