Overview
IntroductionIf you are stuck on the covert pops special mission, then this guide is for you. No buildings, monkey money, special agents, etc were used. Road spikes were mashed, however.
Scope
1. Get a 2-3 Dart Monkey (this would be a triple dart monkey). Place it at the top of the path where the two entrances merge.
2. Get another Dart Monkey and place it in the lowercase u like piece of land near the right entrance. Get it to 2-3 with the longer range and camo detection being bought before focusing on the triple darts upgrade.
3. Get a third dart monkey and place it between the left entrance and the lowercase n piece. Do as you did in number two with this one.
4. When funds allow, buy a snipper monkey, placing it near the bottom-most bush on the right side. Get this to 1-2 (Full Metal Jacket, Faster Firing and Camo Detection) when funds allow.
5. Build up money and then buy a spike factory to place close to the bottom-most rock at the exit. Upgrade this to 2-2 (so, bigger stacks, red hot spikes, faster production, and even faster production) when funds allow.
6. Save up for a Super Monkey. Put him near the narrower section of the upercase U like piece. You may need to use road spikes while you wait for the funds so make sure to have those at the ready to mash. Turn fast forward off when mashing them.
7. Save up money to buy a village.
8. While you wait for the money to get a 0-2 village, you will need to use some road spikes so make sure those are selected and ready to mash. I turn off fast forward when doing this to avoid bloon leaks.
9. Upgrade village to 0-1.
10. Use more spikes with fast forward off.
11. Get the village to 0-2. This will allow the super monkey to hit the camos now.
12. Use road spikes as needed while you acquire the funds for the super and epic range.
13. Continue mashing the spikes while you wait to get the laser and plasma blasts.
14. Once upgraded to 2-2, continue mashing the spikes when needed. Feel free to upgrade the spike factory to moab shredder spikes.
15. Keep on mashing the spikes when needed until you clear round 50. Put away the spikes and you’ll have cleared the mission.
16. Congratz and enjoy your 500? or 1000? monkey money. Replay this for easy monkey money if playing on the Switch, Xbox, or the PS4 versions. You get 280 for every subsequent clear.
