Step one of any boss fight is to get rid of any nearby minions.

Notes

Xp gained is scaled based on your lvl vs your targets lvl.
Ex. Lvl 5 Player vs Echidna = 225 xp, lvl 6 Player vs Echidna = 113 xp.

Players do not gain XP for a kill if it is more then 3 lvls below them.
Ex. Lvl 5 player kills a lvl 1 and will recieve 0 xp.

Bosses tend to be the higher of the listed level for their area, Echidna 5, Medusa 8 etc.

The best Loot tends to be unique recipes, and while soloing drops tend to be for a class other then your own.

TIP: In town buy your class Fate Weapon 12000 gold, its lvl 1 and gains power as you level and gives great HP regen. (and no 12k is not that hard to farm) ofc do so after you have a decent stone set.

If you are in a party it is good to have a smart support character.
-Elemental Storm Merge is great when popped at the right time.
-Fury of time + Spartan General/Sarcophagus/Wardrummer etc.
-Sarcophagus again because if you have one up then the other players can die all they want and as long as you maintain a constant stream of attacks the bosses wont reset.

God and later bosses tend to be immune to effects, so it is safer to buff yourself/party then it ever is to try to debuff or stun etc.
