Overview
This guide describes how I use the Bubble Ninja (my main), and how to counter the other classes.
Control Configuration
Using a controller with this setup allows you to Charge specials while jumping, attacking, rolling or dashing. This is the basis for the unique startegys with the Bubble Ninja. This is still viable with a Keyboard but extremly unorthodox.
Against Melee Attackers
When fighting a melee fighter, Bubble Ninja can charge a bubble and fight simultaneousy. The Bubble will follow her for as long as the button is held (RT in my case). By approachign an enemy with Full or Half full bubble you get an immediate advanage. Their attacks and any other movements such as rolls, will be slower. This allows you to be more accurate with your attacks and attack more times than they can. There is only one problem you have to work around with this startegy, when you attack your bubble will revert to original size. This means you can either place your bubble in vicinty of the enemy or attack only once before the enemy regains normal speed. By using this Strategy, Bubble Ninja can outclass many of the melee fighters.
Against Ranged Attackers
Luckily the Bubble Ninja is also and effective counter against ranged attackers. By placing many bubbles in a straight line on the ground you can slow a projectile for long streches and make dodging even the fastest of bullets simple. The hardest part is getting an opening. With charcters like the Sniper this is easier while some like Needler and Card Dealign Mime are much more difficult to him. Against these the best strategy is to place alot of bubbles inbetween you and open spaces and then try to lure the enemy as close as possible to you. Patience is key when fighting ranged characters as the Bubble Ninja.
