Overview
In this guide I will explain the effectiveness if the buggy. I will update this as I continue on with more weapons.
GUIDE NOW IRRELEVANT
This guide was originally written back in 2014. It is now 2020 and Robocraft has undergone many updates since then. Everything here is now pretty much useless and the bot can be one-shot by almost any bot. No longer recommended for combat.
SMG Buggy
The SMG buggy’s effectiveness varies on your weapon tier and how big your buggy is. I was using 2 tier four SMGs and I tested them in a t4 battle. They were not very effective.
Plasma Buggy
The plasma buggy is pretty effective and faster than the SMG and railgun buggys. I tested this one once and I got 2 kills in one round. Its pretty effective and fast. good for scooting around the side of the enemy and capping while spotting any enemie you can see.
Railgun Buggy
The railgun buggy is very effective at long range. However it is not the best on maps with lots of mountains unless you can get a nice elevated spot. Try this one for your self and see how effective it is. I am very bad at this game but i was somehow able towin more with this robot than with my tank!
Medic Buggys
This one is one of my favorites along with the railgun and plasma buggys. It had t6 armour unlike the others wich have not as good armour (once i know what tier i will change this). It is not extremly effective when healing but it gets you loads of robopoints and tech tokens.
How to use buggys
The way I like to use the buggys is to get around the enemy spotting everything I can and try to capture their base. With my railgunner buggy I usually try to get to a discrete hiding spot with a clear view of the battlefield and try to snipe enemies. Once i use up all my shots I will run to another hiding spot and fire off more shots once they have regenerated.
