Car descriptions, basics and tunes for beginners (1.4.6 Owl, Pirate hunter)

Overview

Car characteristics explained in simple words and suggestions of vehicles for beginners.

Introduction

This guide was created to answer all those questions I see everytime in the chat such as “What car is the best?”, “What is the best car in tier 5?” or “Is this car good or bad?”. All of those questions sound a bit ridiculous to me as all cars in the game can be tuned and adjusted to perform well on almost any track. The problem is that people don’t like certain cars depending on their style of drifting in-game as each car has unique handling.

Before talking about anything else, I want to let you know that the most common setups used are the stock, drift and ultimate ones. So I suggest to only use those yourself as well. Ultimate setup should be used at all times in the end once you have unlocked it, because it allows for the best and most in-depth customization of your vehicle. I will provide all the ultimate setups which I either use or find good to use for every car so that people who do not know what each thing does and don’t want to experiment or learn those things can still enjoy themselves while playing.

In-game settings for keyboard users

All of these tunes were made and tested on a keyboard. Please feel free to provide feedback if any of you with either a wheel or a controller are using them. These are the recommended settings (but if you have different settings that you prefer using, then don’t be afraid to keep using them too) if you want to use the ultimate tunes provided below. But the majority of people whom I’ve chat with in-game in the past uses these settings.

Rating rules

  • All cars will have ratings depending on how well they perform and how consistent they are on the track.
  • Stock, Turbo and Drift setups will only be compared between other vehicles of the same tier.
  • Ultimate setups will be compared between all cars in the game on Springstone with my personal best score shared in this guide. The score will vary for each person with the tunes provided as some are worse or better than me in the game.

TIER 1

The very first choice of vehicles you have in the game. In this tier it is important to go a bit more in-depth with every possible setup the game provides since you won’t have ultimate setup unlocked until level 11. So even the racing setup will be tested for drifting in Tier 1. All these cars have been tested on the very first available track; Saihem Forest. Ultimate tune is tested on Springstone.

Panther M5 / Mazda MX-5

Stock: ★☆☆☆☆

Really not recommended to get as a first car because of the odd handling it has. It can’t hold high drifting angles at all, meaning you won’t be making drifts as impressive as you’d want to and will end up getting less points than any other car. You will end up being punished by trying to go for a high angle as your car will straighten out against your will.

The whole track is driftable in 3rd gear as it has enough power to stay in it, but not enough to be properly used in 4th. Second gear is kinda pointless unless you are going really slow. Long sweeping corners are doable, but it’s not as impressive or interesting as other choices you have in tier 1.

Turbo:

The problem of your car straightening out against your will is reduced and it is able to hold a bigger drifting angle, but the problem still persists nonetheless. Pointless to do, even though it is a lot better than stock already.

Racing:

It feels like the car finally does what you want to do with it. It initiates drifts right on your command and doesn’t straighten out on its own anymore. Instead now it does the exact opposite, it likes to spin out really badly. But if you are careful, you can actually do something with this tune.

Drift:

Really nimble and quick with transitions, drifts really well and is pretty fun. Once you enter an ultimate angle or even a bit beyond that, just let go of the gas and steer to straighten out the car as it will be heading for a spin-out. Though you can easily save it and carry on.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   40915

Built to hold huge drift angles and remain easily controllable as its super nimble, a reverse entry is no problem. Nothing special at all and its not as charming as the old mx5.

Transmission

Hachi-Roku / Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86

Stock: ★★★☆☆

Probably the best car to choose as your first one. It does lack power at stock setup so you will need to shift pretty often from 2nd to 3rd gear back and forth with a lot of handbrake usage to achieve the maximum potential this can provide you with at this state. The car feels really responsive and doesn’t punish you a lot for anything. Of course that doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want without any consequences. Imagine delivering tofu on Mount Akina when driving this.

Turbo:

The problem of lacking power is decreased, but it is still not enough to do anything at high speed and isn’t really happy when in 4th gear. It can be more prone on spinning out depending on your drifting style. But overall it’s better than the stock setup for sure.

Racing:

Don’t even try. You will spin out way too often, didn’t expect it to be so bad.

Drift:

Works really well and the car is responsive, but careful when going beyond an angle of 55° because the car starts pulling hard and might spin out. Apply throttle carefully or not at all. Ultimate angles are really hard to reach and maintain.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   42214

This setup is made for the car to be able to run in every map without a single problem. 4th gear for most corners and you are good to go. Nothing spectacular about the car, not suited for people who have never played racing games on PC before as it is a bit more fiddly than other cars.

VZ 210 / VAZ 2107 Rally

Stock: ★★★★☆

Recommended as a starter car as well. It’s responsive and gladly drifts on its own, but it also has its own weird features. I don’t know what Russians thought when making the gearbox for it or maybe it is tuned for rally as well. The gearing is really short, meaning that most drifting is being done in 4th or 3rd gear to gain speed or for low speed sections.

Turbo:

Amazingly good, I don’t know what to say myself but just for the turbo added in that makes it even better. I’m surprised how well it works. Honestly, no actual issues.

Racing:

It likes to spin out, but not even nearly as much as the previous two cars mentionned so far. It’s a lot more consistent and can actually be drifted pretty well. But I would suggest the turbo setup instead, because it would simply be easier to do with the same results.

Drift:

Worse than turbo setup to be honest. It is faster, quicker and more responsive, but if you go beyond a 50° angle you won’t even notice and you will be almost instantly at a 70° angle and about to spin out unless you are super careful with the throttle. If you try to not go beyond the 50° then just use the turbo setup anyway, because it pretty much does it for you.

Ultimate: ★★★★★   41818

Mostly should be using 4th gear, the whole car is a bit odd as it seems to have a tighter drifting circle than most other cars when it comes to its specific handling. But even with that, this is adjusted so it’s able to hold huge angles and remain easily controllable.

Pigeon IV / Holden Commodore VL

Stock: ★★☆☆☆

Not recommended to use as a first car, but it’s not terrible either. Since it’s an Australian car you think it has a massive V8 under the hood which burns rubber all the time. Well, it’s not the case with this one. It has a really long gearing so I suggest doing everything in 2nd gear and not even thinking about 3rd gear because it obviously doesn’t have enough power to keep it sliding even then you need to use the handbrake absolutely all the time to begin anything and then slamming the gas until the engine bogs down again and you need to regain some speed and repeat. Really needs to use that weight of it to do anything properly.

Turbo:

Definitely recommended to get as a second car and running with this setup, the turbo really helps the lack of power and it can show what it can do. Of course you will still feel lack of power and will need to shift between 2nd and 3rd gear, mostly staying in 3rd. But it does really nice drifts and holds great angles, even when going a bit too much, just let go of the gas for a bit and you will save it.

Racing:

It’s unbelievable how well this actually works. Compared to all other cars of this tier, this setup has never worked properly. But on this thing, it actually works really well and helps. Of course it will still lack in power, but less than usual and it will also want to spin out. But it is so easily controllable that you are close to spinning out, but then just let go of the gas a bit and slam it into 2nd gear and then you carry on saving your combo and getting that sweet ultimate angle bonus as well.

Drift:

The best setup so far. It is really good, the car gladly holds big drift angles and it is so easy to keep it from spinning out. It’s probably the most user friendly car with this setup for the first tier. On a side note, it likes to lose power when holding huge angle so you won’t be able to hold that drift for too long.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   41080

Likes huge angles, but the border between epic ultimate bonus and spinning out is really small, loses power as soon as it gets pushed too far and therefore its quite unforgiving which is the only reason why it doesnt get 5 stars. The points climb really damn fast , 40k on sprinstone achievable quite fast and a lot more room to go beyond that.

TIER 2

All these cars have been tested on Saihem Forest and Springstone. Springstone is probably the best map when it comes to testing vehicles. It also is almost always used to farm experience and money. The racing setup will no longer be tested starting from this tier.

Horizon GT4 / Nissan Skyline R34

Stock:

The mighty Godzilla Skyline, an amazingly popular car. Sadly, it’s not that much of a kaiju here. It has power to keep it sideways on corners, but that’s all it can do. Nothing special or particular. Can be used to grind a bit of money for later unlocks without any problems.

Turbo:

Increases the power to make it overall perform better, but it’s still not enough to do long sweeping corners.

Drift:

Can do the entire Springstone track in one long continuous drift like it should be done. But requires a bit of practice to do so as giving it too much angle will make it want to spin out.

Ultimate: ★★★★★   43416

Now this is how the Godzilla should perform! When you get a 94 degrees in the very first corner on springstone and carry on with just releasing the gas a bit and go in the next corner like nothing happened, you know this thing is capable of a lot of things. Massive angles are in this cars nature, but beware of throttle control, if you dont know when to let go of it and when to apply it or how to shift fastly, it wont be much good. Reccomended for players with some amount of ingame experience.

Thunderstrike / Dodge Charger 1969/1970

Stock:

Probably the best symphony under the hood right here, the low V8 rumble is amazing and soothing to your ears. Just wished the game had better sounds. If you like V8 engines, big cars and suspension like an old Cadillac, this is for you. It has enough power and mass to make it slide out all the time. Problems start when you want to take long sweeping corners as even this loses power in those, probably because of the long gearing it has originally. The way how its body rolls and weight shifts in corners is quite outstanding and surprising how well it can drift for a stock car. It has a slightly noticable pattern while drifting that it likes to go a bit more forward due to its mass.

Turbo:

The entire Springstone track in one long swooping drift. It holds angles without a problem, has plenty of power, it’s almost perfect for this already. I don’t have anything to complain at all besides the terrible suspension.

Drift:

A true powerhouse under the hood. It already was able to drift Springstone without a problem, but with more power it just gives you more freedom to express yourself. It doesn’t want to spin out so badly. In fact, it doesn’t even need much concentration or skill to keep this beast on the road and going the direction you want sideways at all times. It’s really user-friendly. Just add a bit of power management and you got a really great car to drift.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   42113

Will keep the rear wheels spinning at all times without any effort, hard to spin out aswell. Really good overall and easy to use, the downside is that it is really big itself so you got to be careful on smaller tracks and it takes a bit longer than anything else to transision from one side to another.

Transmission

Caravan G6 / Volvo 740

Stock:

A Swedish tank, it doesn’t drive like a tank though. Not enough power to be comfortable on Springstone, but if you get it in tighter corners, it performs really well. It does everything as you want it to do without hesitation as well.

Turbo:

Honestly pretty boring. Because the changes are barely noticable from the stock, kind of a pointless setup. Of course it gives it a bit more power, but it’s not enough.

Drift:

Amazing. This car is amazing with the drift setup because of how well balanced and user-friendly it is. It lets you go for the ultimate angles, but it also lets you get away with a lot of things.

Ultimate: ★★★★★   43656

Super underrated, insane angle holder and really managable and easy to drive. Really hard to spin out if you know basics of the game and have a slightest “feel” of cars. Only downside is the terrible looking rear bumper and exhaust, but thats just my opinion, some may like it.

Transmission

STG 440 / Dodge Ram

Stock:

It can’t do anything properly, not even on Saihem Forest. It can barely drift, it acts like a stock tier 1 car.

Turbo:

Adds more power, but as soon as you want to utilize it this thing says a massive “No.” in your face and straightens out immediately despite you trying to do anything to prevent that.

Drift:

Complete opposite of what it used to be, it really likes holding angles and gladly lets you hold almost any angle in a corner. It’s like a bison that no longer has any restraints and just goes on a rampage like a beast, yet it follows your orders like a tamed dog.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   39193

Can hold massive angles and it loves doing it, easy to drift and manage. Downsides are its size as it is huge so its not easy to go on all tracks and it takes a bit longer than other cars to transition.

Transmission

Phoenix NX / Nissan 180SX

Stock:

Slides like it’s on butter, so smooth and clean. Just wished it had more power, really pleasant to drift.

Turbo:

It’s reputation stands high. This power boost is something it really needed, but it’s still not enough. Makes you want to say “Just a bit more!” while drifting this when it holds really good angles in corners and is so smooth overall.

Drift:

Possibly one of the best drift cars in the game. It doesn’t care at all how big of an angle you take a corner, it will drift it smoothly and carrying on with it will be really easy. Almost too easy if I may say. Overall it’s super user-friendly and doesn’t punish the driver for anything at all.

Ultimate: ★★★★★   46982

Dont like throttle control? Dont like caring about how huge angle you hold as long as it is massive? Dont want to put much effort into the game? Then this is for you! Throttle control pretty much not needed, can easilly get away with massive angles , even as big as 95 degrees which is basicly going in reverse already, but who cares, right?

Godzilla R3 / Nissan Skyline R33

Stock:

The mighty Skyline family continues and here is the R33. It’s AWD (all-wheel drive) like it should be, but because of it it can’t drift at all. Can do some powerslides but that’s all…

Turbo:

This setup changes from AWD to RWD (rear-wheel drive), making it fit for drifting. But I was wrong. It is seriously underpowered that I had to go and drive it in the Saihem Forest and even there it didn’t perform very well. It’s like a tier 1 car in a way. Expected a lot more from the mighty Godzilla, but I guess it truly is made for time attack. Don’t know why that is a thing in a game all about drifting.

Drift:

Finally able to do something, but it still feels underpowered for a drift setup. It does let you get away with almost spinning out, but it’s not as user-friendly as some other options from this tier. It really could be better. I assume ultimate tune is the only way to go with this one which is normal when you have a high enough level to unlock it.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   43670

It’s a great car, goes around corners nicely and with a skilful driver this thing has massive potential as it is a really good all around car, only downside is that it lacks power at some points and you just wish it had more when you drive it enough.

Mifune / Toyota Altezza / Lexus IS

Stock:

It’s not bad in small spaces, but anything large and you can already see it begging for more power to be put into its engine. It’s really forgiving and is really steady while being sideways.

Turbo:

Barely any changes from the previous one. Just slightly faster which only improves the ability to use it on small maps or maps with tight corners. Not much more to say about it.

Drift:

Really pleasant and easy to drift. It almost doesn’t punish you at all for going over the limit a bit. It’s nice and calm no matter what you do with it. Very tame and will not try to do anything to ruin that reputation.

Ultimate: ★★★☆☆   37952

This was the toughest car to tune for me, nothing seems quite right, always a flaw in no matter what. Its a great angle holder and feels really light, quick transitions and easilly gets back on its track after a massive angle. Major downside to it is lack of power, it just needs more power, 4th gear is pretty much pointless as the first 3 gears will get everything done, sorta, its really suited for small and tight tracks , not springstone.

Its a really cool car and even the most dia-hard muscle car lovers will agree that this is cool. In stock it can slide around and stuff, but nothing spectacilur , could maybe try on a small track.

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 49067

A really nice and precise car , not really suited for unexperienced players, it requires a real understanding of the torque curve of this car as you are drifitng a corner, requires a lot of shifting even with shortened gearing than stock.

Last Prince / Nissan Skyline GT-R R32

Stock:

The true first godzilla , the R32 skyline, beast of the roads, true automotive miracle of the 90’s. Its fast and powerful , but eeh, in this game for drifting it lacks power a bit and is prone to spin out if you are not careful.

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 50701

ultimate without adjustments was too twitchy and didn’t feel like a car, added slight changes (really similar to base tune) and this this is still twitchy as ♥♥♥♥, but managable if you have some reaction speed to counter steer or let off the gas. If you can do either of the previous two this thing is amazing, every corner , hell, any transition you can reverse entry with this quite easilly, a bit overpowered in the competitive part of the game as this is just a bit too easy for a exprienced player, not good in hands of someone who just started.

TIER 3

All these cars have been tested on Springstone and will only be tested on their stock and drift setups. Of course I will also provide my own ultimate setups for them as well.

Steel DM / DMC Delorean

Stock:

Back to the future in style of going sideways… yeah, no. It’s really terrible as stock, underpowered and doesn’t like to drift at all. It straightens itself out if you go for a decent angle in a corner. It is possible to do some small angle corners, but that’s not fun and it doesn’t give a lot of points either.

Drift:

It’s really underpowered for a drift setup, but it takes corners really well and is forgiving for going too hard therefore it’s really good for small tracks. It can’t perform well on tracks with long sweeping corners though.

Ultimate: ★★★☆☆   37853

It works pretty well for everything, but you have to handle it like its a princess, super fragile and careful. Its a nice car and can get pretty good score’s on it , but reccomended for only experienced players.

Burner JDM / Toyota Chaser

Stock:

It’s a struggle to drift with this setup. The gearing is off and it likes to spin out a lot if you push it a bit over the limit which is around 50°. Really recommended to drive it in smaller tracks instead of the standard ones.

Drift:

I’m surprised how well it works and how good the drift setup option is for this car. It’s nothing over the top, but it sure is good.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   38756

Average car that has nothing special to it besides option of a bodykit. Its handling is really average and nothing impressive, but its not bad either. Only thing to watch out is going past 60 degree’s of drift , because it doesnt like to straighten out or reduce the angle at all without throttle control.

Bimmy P30 / BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution

Stock:

Every BMW fan’s dream car or at least one of them. It’s pretty alright if you stay in 3rd gear and redline that almost all the time. Fourth gear isn’t good as it loses power under any condition. It likes going sideways like every BMW in winter, but also prone to crash if pushed too far like every BMW in winter as well.

Drift:

It feels like you are driving on ice at all times, goes and stays sideways but if you go just a bit over it’s comfort zone it will act like you actually are on ice and will slide out of control. Experienced players can use that to their advantage because it’s possible to save it and get those sweet ultimate angle bonuses.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   48621

This is my own favorite car and I have spent a lot of time tuning this thing. I believe I succeeded judging by how it performs, at least in my hands. It’s adjusted to work very well in any map at all times. I hold my personal best score on springstone with this out of all cars. Reasons why it has 4 star rating is because it has nothing special to it, its a average compared to some angle holding monsters eveliable and it takes a experienced driver to perform well.

Thor 8800 / Peterbild 379

It’s obviously a joke vehicle. It can slide in tight corners, but it’s so huge it barely fits in any map which has those. Only reason to get this is if you want to troll, look stupid or do something stupid with it. It also leaves a trail of burnt diesel which looks like a coal plant on wheels.

Drift:

Yes, it has that and it actually can slide. But it’s too slow to get a lot of points and too big to be drifted on a small, slow speed track.

Ultimate: ★☆☆☆☆   25805

I don’t know why I am even doing this. But yes, this is my build with this massive truck. If you are considering of using this as your main vehicle in this game, you are either a trucker in real life or you might want to seek medical help. Nobody will take you seriously if you drive this.

Expected a bit more out of this amazing Japanese icon, but got slightly dissapointed instead.

Drift:

It’s hard to drive this, it actually is pretty hard. In hands of a good driver, this can be really good and can achieve a lot. Just really needs to pay attention to throttle control.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆   42171

Drift:

Transfered to RWD (rear-wheel drive), the expectations increase and it exceeds them. It holds drift angles like it’s build to do and feels so smooth. It’s super easy to drive and do huge drifts with, a really great setup for it.

Ultimate: ★★★★★   42518

Its a absolute struggle to drift this thing, it goes only once you have gained momentum and it uses every single bit of it in a corner. Not reccomended to be used to grind for money to unlock later setup, get a extra 200k at least above the cars price to buy ultimate or drift instantly.

Drift : ★★☆☆☆

A bit of a nightmare to drift it. As soon as you want to go for some nice angle while drifting, it feels like the car is getting slapped and it just throws itself to be spinned out as easy as possable. It can be catched before it spins out and get that reverse entry bonus , but its such a gamble which is not worth it.

Ultimate : ★★★★☆ 41910

Absolute pain to tune properly, judging how terribly this drifted with any setup ingame it felt like im trying to train a crippled man for swimming competition, but i guess i have done it. It took a lot of trial and error to get it right, but this seems to be working with probably the most precise and amount of detail took in to do it. It drifts pretty alright and is actually alright for people with small amount of experience, can take big angles aswell.

Every Fast & Furious 3 fan boy’s favorite car. Its the drift king’s car, get in it and you will be the drift king! No, not really, it really cant do much on stock setup.

Drift : ★★★★☆

Pretty decent, nothing amazing tho. It does its job like it should and drifts well, Hard to catch that big angle , because once you get the ultimate angle , it likes to go further to the point of spinout. It isnt easy , but its doable.

Ultimate : ★★★★☆ 40478

Pretty simple car, can get away with even 90 degree corners like a drift king, its easy , but takes a bit to get used to how much throttle and how much steering you need for each corner and for what angle, not reccomended for people with no experience.

Another famous rally car, really cool looking and the nice boxer engine under the hood is cool too, but its AWD, so dont expect it to drift on stock.

Drift : ★★★★★

As it is tranfered to RWD , it becomes super easy and nice to drive, can hold huge angles and is really responsive. This setup is usable really easilly, but for me, i need some fine adjustments and a bit more power out of it.

Ultimate : ★★★★★ 43606

Super simple to drive in a relaxing matter, but needs a bit of skill if you want to go for the ultimate angles and such, it has massive potential as 40k on springstone is easy and leaves a lot of room to go beyond that.

Good looking, powerful and prepared for the track already from the factory, its a good drifter as stock.

Drift : ★★★★☆

Drifts really nicely and smoothly, holds nice angle and is super easy to control, just 1 problem – It likes to straighten out on its own once you try to go for a bit bigger angle than what it is used to which i enough for me to give it a rating of 4 instead of maximum. It has potential which can be only unlocked in the ultimate tune.

Ultimate : ★★★★★ 44747

Takes a bit of practise as the car likes to go with huge angles in corners ,eventually spinning out, but if you have done that practise, you can do those amazing 90 degree corners which we all love.

The modern mopar in its full glory. Massive V8 , crappy suspension and a lot of curb weight. It actually drifts alright for a stock car, but only if you can bear redlining the engine like you are trying to do a engine blow. It holds suprisingly big angles for a stock car aswell.

Drift : ★★★★☆

Insane angle holder, even with this setup, its quite amazing , but doesnt get maximum score because of lack of power for longer corners and the gearing is just terrible at some places on springstone.

Ultimate : ★★★★★ 45330

Takes practise to get used to , but once you do, its really damn good, holds huge angles like its meant to do that. It was quite odd to tune.

Its alright to drift as stock, but the gearing is pretty annoying as 3rd gear redlines like hell , but 4th at some points lacks power, be prepared to shift a lot.

Drift : ★★★★★

Insane angle holder again, can really get away with huge degree corners, the gearing is super short so oddly enough most of the track was done in 5th gear which is the only thing that bothers me about it because on some slower corners it can lack power for 5th gear, but will redline 4th like hell. Ultimate will unlock its full potential.

Ultimate : ★★★★★ 43405

Itsa simple car which allows a lot of freedom and easilly goes for massive angles, but as soon as you doone, be ready to switch gears fast to keep it going properly

Class and style if you go sideways with this. Has a lot of power as stock and its handling is pretty good, easilly can do entire springstone. If you go online and drift there, people wont even notice that you are on stock tune.

Drift : ★★★★★

Holds insane angles even with this setup, the front of the car is like a pendulum where the back of it just constantly slides from 1 side to another, showing class and power, does it even need a ultimate setup?

Ultimate : ★★★★★ 46105

Its basicly a perfect car when it comes to all setups, including ultimate, it takes corners and holds insane angles like a dream, its almost perfect, only thing i can complain about is its handling which is like a muscle car in a way. When you drive it, you will know what im talking about.

A cool new bmw, the smallest M version of all, a bit fancy, but i dont really have much to say besides it handling like atrack car on stock, kinda like a bmw should.

Ultimate:★★★☆☆ 44922

Wtf is this? its so hard to tune and drive with a keyboard, its almost like made for a steering wheel, it snaps on you like crazy and almost has a mind of its own, but the bright side is if you take your time and practise enough with it, it can be a really great car for you , but its hard to be consistent with this.

Audi R8, really cool engineering masterpiece ,but wait…you are supposed to drift it, wtf, why would you want to drift this car unless you are a fanatic of the audi r8 and can name eveyr single special and concept versions of it. It’s handling reminds me of a muscle car in this game or the feel of driving a fridge.

Ultimate:★★★★☆ 42106

It is still pretty bad, takes forever to transition anmd then suddenly snap oversteer , this thing is trying to take you out of the competiton and just overall fail you, its way too unpredictable , its severely underpowered and to have some good build with it ,you will need to spend A LOT of hours adjusting each gear to get some decent gearing out of it. it’s not unasable , but its not good either.

Stock: ★★☆☆☆

Pain to use, it drifts terribly as it is too grippy , lacks power a lot and once you get it sideways, you cnt hold any angle as it will try to kill you by pushing itself to spin out.

Drift: ★★☆☆☆

Not impressive at all, it does everything to get out of small angle and go for huge one and once you reach a huge angle, it becomes almsot uncontrollable , only way to drift it with this setup is knowing throttle control really well and struggling almost all the time.

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 47298

Pretty hard and complicated, but once you get it down and get used to it, this thing is insane when it comes to scoring, got my 2nd best score ever with this thing and i have driven it only now for the purpouse of this guide. Only for experienced players.

The magnificent 2JZ , praised and abused by its owners and the car that is famous for having a 2jz is the supra. It drifts , but a bit, it doesnt really want to as it feels to be a super good law obeying citizen , but push it a bit and it will drift and do it alright for a stock setup.

Drift: ★★★★☆

Pretty nice and simple, can get some huge angles in corners and get away with them well, wish it was a bit more controllable at the bigger angles

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 40077

Very simple and clean, no problems at all , Reccomended with people with very little experience. Likes to hold huge angles without much effort aswell ,but dont go too much unless you are quick with shifting and handbrake to quickly re-iniate another drift to not lose points.

Tribute to the world famous and lover AE86, but modernised and more sporty. Its quite odd driving this right after the Supra, really similar. It can drift pretty ok, and will correct the driver when too much angle is applied to avoid spinning out, but it just lacks power and has pretty bad gearing, most of the time you will be redlining 3rd gear.

Drift: ★★★☆☆

Drifts pretty well ,but likes to go for the huge angles too much, puts you in a constand fear of spinning out when you approach a corner or transition.

Ultimate: ★★★★☆ 40329

Pretty good car , quite simple and easy to get away with massive angles, but 2 downsides which i find a bit annoying, one of them is the gearbox, i adjusted it to be as alright as possable , but it always demands constant shifting which i find annoying, some dont mind, but i do. Seconds is the fact that the transitions seems to be pretty slow, but i assume its just me and my tuning abilities.

The famous Nissan Silvia s15, probably least liked out of all silvia’s, but that has not been proven and even if it is true, people still like it a lot. Its a bit of a disappointment in stock form, just doesnt want to drift , its too underpowered and acts like a 4-door family sedan.

Drift: ★★★★☆

Not reccomended spite the rating , it has potential to do a lot and it easilly goes and holds massive angles, but its hard to not lose your combo after them , needs practise or a player with experience

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 43609

Really nice car, smooth and rewarding. Once you enter a corner, it instantly likes to assume the biggest angle it can hold on its own and if you put it a bit a bit further than that, it gets those ultimate bonuses likes its nothing and even reverse entries are easy to get and carry on from them.

Voodoo (Dodge Viper GTC)

Stock: ★★★☆☆

A dream of many people, the newest generation of Viper’s truly does look stunning and really agressive, sadly its not as impressive here. Of course , it has power for days , but the handling is just terrible, it wants you to only drive in astraight line , trying to prove the myth that american cars can and are designed to only drive straight. It constantly tries to straighten itself out and allows for really small amount of angle to be held in corners.

Drift: ★★★★★

I got 44.8K score on Springstone on the 1ST run ever with the setup and i dont like the car personally so i dont use it, i think that should say enough. Super damn easy.

Ultimate: ★★★★★ 43949

Yes, the engine is really downtuned , because i find 1200hp a bit too much for a drift car, with this ultimate setup it makes close to 1000 hp which is still way more than enough. It is a simple car to drift and quite easy, but once you want to for all of those ultimate angles, be careful and be ready to quickly downshift. It also has so much grip, it gains speed while still going sideways with a pretty big angle.
