Character Builder, Complete Lists of Weapons, Equipment, Armor Sets…

Overview

This guide includes a way to spec out and design your character, along with a complete list with all weapons, equipment, armor sets, weapon skills, genre skills, and pretty much anything else you would want.

Introduction

Hi everyone,

I’ve spent my time creating a Google Sheet that has much of the game content stored in it.
Here it is.[docs.google.com]

Most of the lists are pretty straight forward. I’ve made filter views that can be accessed at the top of the screen by hitting Data –> Filter views. If you want to make your own, just click create new temporary filter view, and you can set your own filtering and ordering.

Weapons

In the weapon list you can see all of the weapon stats. There are a few columns that I made to help rank the weapons.

  • DPS – Damage per second (avg dmg * attack speed)
  • EPS – Energy per second (stamina cost * attack speed)
  • DPS/EPS – This measures how efficient a weapon is at dealing damage. You want this value to be higher, which means it deals more damage per stamina spent.
  • DPS^2/EPS – This is what I typically use to rank weapons. It is similar to the one above but places higher DPS weapons higher, because regardless of how efficient a weapon is, it still needs to deal good damage.

When comparing weapons to see which is better, use this value along with the Bonuses.

Also, take a look at the filter views.

For Legendary Weapons
The little black triangle at the top right of a cell means there’s a note. The legendary weapons have their special effects stored here.

Equipment

Not much to say here. If you only want to look at armor that is part of a set, use the Sets view.

Also, some armors take up more than one slot. Look for the notes to see this.

Armor Sets

All armor sets can be seen here. The different parts of each sets can be seen in the parts column. Total Bonuses just lists the bonuses of each individual item.

Skills

  • Skill descriptions show max level skills by default.
  • Stamina costs are either a percentage of the equipped weapon’s stamina cost or are a fixed value.
  • For weapon skills, Level indicates the required weapon mastery level to learn a skill. For genre skills, it’s the actual level of the character. The listed attributes are also requirements.
  • At the bottom of genre skills, it shows required values for all of the skills you’ve picked.
  • If you are using the character builder, choose your skills by indicating the skill level in the level column. This must be 1, 2, or 3, unless it is a weapon master skill, then it must be one. Don’t use 0, just leave it blank.

Traits & Natures

You can browse just traits or just natures by going to their respective tabs. If you are using the character builder, use the checkboxes in the Have? column. Remember that each race always has their race trait.

Materials/Recipes

The Materials tab is straightforward.

For the Recipes tab:

  • Market Cost is what it would cost to outright buy the item from the market. Remember if you sell an item, it is sold for half of market cost.
  • Ingredient cost is the cost of all ingredients. This does not include any armor or weapons (I don’t have all of their costs).
  • Cost to Craft is the cost of actually crafting the item. Everything has a cost here.
  • Profit = (Half of market cost) – (ingredient cost + cost to craft). Use the Sort by Profit filter view if you want to see the most profitable.

Character Builder

The character builder shows your stats much like it would in-game. In order to use this, you will have to log in to Google and make a copy of the spreadsheet. Here’s a quick run-down on how to use:

  • Choose your Race and Level at the top. Make sure level is between 1 and 25 inclusively.
  • Choose your Equipment and Weapons with the drop-down menus. Weapons 3 and 4 do not grant any bonuses, they are there solely for weight calculations.
  • Pick your attribute values under the Base column. The Total column adds in equipment values, so leave that one be.
  • Choose your weapon mastery level. This is to be between 0 and 10 inclusively.
  • Base point total is how many points your character had invested at level one. This is used to find how many potential points your character has to spend. A character typically starts with 1 point in a weapon skill and 5 – 10 points in attributes. This value is just the sum of those with the attributes doubled.

    For example:

If your character had 1 point in Dual, 7 points in Strength, and 9 Points in Endurance (the rest are 5), then this value would be 1 + 4 + 8 = 13. One point from dual, 4 from Strength ((7 – 5)*2), and 8 from Endurance.

(Remember, the base value for attributes is 5.)

  • Potential Points – points left to spend on Attributes & Weapon level.
  • Skill Points – points left to spend on skill.
  • Choose Traits, Natures, and Skills at their own tabs.

If you want to share you character build, take a screenshot.
