Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine Guide

Character cheat sheet for Monaco

Character cheat sheet

Overview

The characters of Monaco have unique abilities that aren’t always documented in game. This is a super terse guide that should cover all the character’s abilities. I leave the strategy to you.

Introduction

This is a super terse guide explaining what all the characters in Monaco can do.

All information is culled from the Monaco Hideout wiki (now sadly defunct) and as far as I know completely accurate. All characters have a primary ability which is documented and secondary abilities which are not documented.

This guide is also availible in Russian

Default characters

The Locksmith

Blue
Primary: Opens locked doors 2-3 times faster.
Secondary: Opens ATMs, cash registers, jewellery boxes (found in Place du Palais) and safes 2-3 times faster.

The Pickpocket

Yellow
Primary: Has a monkey (Hector) that automatically collects nearby coins. Hector does not trigger security systems and is effectively invisible. Hector does interact with unlocked doors, holding them open if he isn’t moving. Hector also interacts with ladders in a similar fashion. Hector will steal cash (and only cash) being carried by NPCs.
Secondary: Enters bushes/trees 3 times faster.

The Cleaner

Pink
Primary: Knocks out unaware NPCs before their aggro meter become a red ‘?’. Kills Wretches in Zonaco mode. Kills Bloaters for slightly reduced explosion damage in Zonaco mode.
Secondary: Applies health packs 3 times faster.

The Lookout

Red
Primary: While sneaking or stationary, shows all NPCs on the map with an icon.
Secondary: Removes fog of war around her including through walls, showing blueprints and coin locations. Moves 4% faster. Enters stairs, vents and windows 3 times faster.

Unlockable characters

The Mole

Purple
Primary: Digs through walls. Can not dig through security, usable items or areas marked with an ‘x’ apart from wall sockets (this was changed in the Hacker buff patch).
Secondary: Enters secret passages 3 times faster. Breaks jewel cases 3 times faster.

The Gentleman

Teal
Primary: Disguises himself when unseen for 3 seconds. The disguise is 1/4 the strength of a regular disguise. Does not stack with found disguises.
Secondary: Enters escape vehicles 2-3 times faster. Picks up disguises 3 times faster.

The Hacker

Green
Primary: Can create viruses by using power outlets. Viruses disable alarms, cameras, lasers, pressure pads, hand scanners, lights and complete hacker specific objectives. Viruses created by the Hacker travel faster than standard viruses.
Secondary: Hacks security systems (lasers, computers, cameras) faster (3 times?)

The Redhead

Orange
Primary: Charms 1 NPC when they become fully aggroed. Charmed NPCs will follow the Redhead and open doors/scanners that she uses. Charmed NPCs will ignore everything else. Charm is reclaimed/removed when line of sight is broken for a few seconds or the NPC is killed. Charm works on dogs. Dogs can open doors. Yes really.
Secondary: Revives teammates 3 times faster (MP only).

The Blonde

Yellow
Primary: Charms multiple NPCs when they become fully aggroed. Charmed NPCs will move toward the Blonde and attempt to touch her. They will become hostile if they succeed in touching her but other charmed enemies remain passive.
Secondary: Revives teammates 3 times faster (MP only).
