How to activate/deactivate
To activate the cheat code, simply type the wanted cheat code in the title screen and you will see the title screen change.
To deactivate ironforest and regrowmode, type the cheat code again in the title screen.
To deactivate veganmode, vegetarianmode and rawmeatmode, type meatmode in the title screen.
meatmode
Cannibals and Mutans spawns as designed.
Removes rawmeatmode, veganmode or vegetarianmode and changes back to the normal logo.
rawmeatmode
Turns on permadeath mode.
Adds “Bloody” to the logo: The Bloody Forest
veganmode
No Cannibals or Mutans.
Adds “An open world adventure” to the logo: The Forest – An open world adventure
vegetarianmode
Cannibals and Mutants only spawns at night.
The yellow logo changes color to red.
woodpaste
Can be used to reset floor & roof holes in a saved game. Cheat works once when game is started then gets reset when going back to title screen. Does nothing for MP clients
Iron Forest
Iron Forest has been moved into Options. If you want to play with Iron Forest, follow the instructions below.
Go to “Options”
Go to “Gameplay”
Under “Rules” you will see “Allow building destruction”.
You can switch between On/Off with the arrows.
Regrow mode
Regrow mode has been moved into Options. If you want to play with Regrow mode, follow the instructions below.

Go to “Gameplay”
Under “Rules” you will see “Regrowing trees”.
You can switch between On/Off with the arrows.
Creative mode
You have to unlock “Creative mode”, by completing the game.
If you don’t know how to complete the game, go to YouTube and search.
If you have completed the game, go create a new game, and now you can choose between “Easy”, “Normal”, “Hard”, and “Creative”. Pick Creative and there you have it.

- No enemies.
- Free building.
