Overview
A cheat sheet for when you want to play the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 single player campaign with your friends
Introduction
Welcome to this little cheat sheet, there is an amazing guide which brought the possibility to my attention and I wanted to combine these sources (stated below) to make an easy cheat sheet for me (and you) to use to host the co-op campaign for your friends.
If you find anything that you would like to be changed or there is an alternative way to do this, please let me know in the comments and I will add it asap.

Setup your game for co-op campaign
As you know the servers have been back online and I can happily say that I personally can host servers w/o any port-forwarding, this lets me assume that they are hosted by Steam which makes things much much easier.
Not only that but you need no modification of the game. Just set up the game approx. like I did and it should work! (You can change the server settings to your personal preferences of course!)
Changing the player limit:
In the main-menu go to Options -> Online and change the “Hosting Bandwidth” to “6M” as it will solve problems joining to other lobbies and it will set the player limit to the maximum.
Multiplayer Session:
Global Settings:
AI Units Per Team: Set it to max
AI Difficulty Level: Whatever you want
Map Playlist: Play in order
Host Settings:
Max Players: Self explanitory
Warm-up: 120 (needed for team swapping etc.)
Teams: Does not work, just keep it the way it is
The rest is up to you and only personal preference
Hero Settings:
Yet to test if the “Assign To:” does anything, will update soon
Now select any map to start in (you can not type in console commands in the multiplayer lobby) and start the server.
! ! BE AWARE ! !
Skipping the cutscenes may crash the game
Console Commands
To change to the correct map you need to type in console commands, here are the list of all necessary commands and my general procedure
- Starting random map to get into a game
- Waiting for friends to connect
- /admin /addmap <map name>
- /admin /endgame
- Waiting for friends to load the map
- /admin /players
- /admin /swap <Player ID>
- End warm-up
- Enjoy the game
- Win/lose the game
- /admin addmap <map name>
- Go to next map
- Repeat from 5th point

Thank you so much Oatmealz for doing the grunt work, please go to his guide to leave a 5-star review!
Also, please be aware that playing as the enemy might be buggy, but definently worth it!
