Overview
So i’ve got this game a bit too late (started playing it in 2015), but from my ~200 hours or so i learned a lot of stuff about this type of games.And i will share some of it with you.
#1 Introduction
As i was saying, i spent some time on this title, went from first prestige to third and met a lot of players(not realy, every lobby had a 3-5 familiar players). I didn’t even thought that in this kinda dead game will be so much tryhards and cheaters (and the sad thing you can’t even report those bastards, becouse you need to add them to your friend list first). oops appereantely there is a way to report them using MW3sa. And from that time i’ve gained some experience, not going to say that i learned how to quick-scope or get crazy tiger-like refexes but now i know that ACR is simply OP gun and i’m a predator missile magnet.
To clear some things out:
I’m playing this game on Low settings (golden guns looks like chocolate, no player shadows and etc),
thats why for me it’s a bit more difficult to recognise bad guys from afar.
Also, I’m living in Europian region and with that said my opponents are russians and you know how much they like to take games way more serious that it needs to.
This guide contents only my thoughts about this game.
Also i’m not going to dig into stats that much (not in this guide for sure).
And yes, i’m open for any kind of tips and criticism.
#2 Know your enemies.
New player.
This is guy doesn’t knows much, probably a lvl 1-10, getting stunned by his own flashbang and generaly very bad at this game.
He has no idea who is friend or enemy when i was playing this game it got me so distracted, like realy, without damn marksman perk you won’t recognize enemy unless he is right in front of you and the player models are all the same. , so he is pretty much a free kill for you.
Normal player.
He gained some experience, he knows that aiming is better than hip-fire.
Now that a real opponent that will give you a challenge, he’s just like you, he knows some tricks, but there is a lot more for him to learn.
Noob pwner Skilled player.
This one is tough guy, he has that gold ACR or AK-47, he knows how to hold spawn rotation and camp.
This type of players is most common in this game, you’ll meet 3 or 4 of them in each lobby.
He is probably 10th prestige or so, he got that swaggy calling card and emblem, you need to be prepared for spawn camping and constant streak spam.
Quick-scoper.
OMG did you see that sick noscope? Gotta get that camera.
This one is very interesting, he’s using that fancy MSR rifle, always has his tac.insert. behind corner, and like’s to run into people.
Cheater.
Yeah i just gonna walk under tha map and insta kill errybody, so much fun.
You can’t beat him, unless he is not using some basic hacks, becouse then you can outsmart these guys by using a Riot Shield.
#3 Wepons and overused equipement.
You see that golden AK-47? It’s golden for a reason
Assault riffles.
Some say that Assault riffles are perfect guns for mid to long ranged fight’s, well..
simply go with a freaking MP7 and spray some guys cross map
There is some good ARs in this game, ACR 6.8 has no recoil, AK-47 has more damage than ACR but kicks a bit more and my favorite is Mk14, it’s simply a Marksman Riffle, has no recoil, deals almost same damage as some light semi-auto sniper riffles.
SMGs.
Wish they werent existed in a first place
These guns… i can’t say anything about them, here i just say that UMP-45 can penetrate brick walls, bison is spray’n’pray and MP7 is gun for dominating everything that moves.
Sniper Riffles.
In this game Semi-Auto Sniper Riffles are simply click spam and by the way RSAA is Dragunov but in different skin, Barett .50 cal is very good “stock” riffle, it has that “full” damage and that’s all you need.
The bolt action riffles are made for those annoying quick-scopers, suddenly they have less damage than Barett and this kinda forces you to land your shoots in chest and higher at least.
LMG.
I call them MLG guns, becouse you can simply walk and mow down enemies, some would say it’s for noobs, some would say it’s for campers, but in my opinion they’re pretty fun to use. I prefer using Mk46 or PKP they both have big clip sizes and good rate of fire.
Shotguns.
I don’t know why there are in this game, when you can jast SMG all over the place
These guns are pretty easy to use: You go to enemy, stey near him, get a bunch of hitmarkers
becouse hit detection is sh*t lay that oneshot, and walk away like a man.
Well, there is no OP guns in this category STRIKER IS OP , so you can either go with Semi-Auto STRIKER, full-auto AA-12 and for Lever/Pomp-Action i prefer KSG and Spas-12 but you can go with anything you like.
Riot Shield.
This is my personal favorite, i love this weapon so much, it has protection from bullets and explosives, you can either put a melee or speed prof. on it, i prefer melee one becouse you need that extra smack speed to bash your enemies, it’s pretty good, but if you use it too much there is a chance for you to be called a “shield noob” or somehting like that.
Secondary weapons
Well, i use only Javelin becouse it gives me good feeling when i get that double or even a multi kill, but for you i can recomend using: from semi-auto pistols you can choose USP .45 (akimbo version reloads much faster than normal one even without fast hands);
from revolvers try using .44 Magnum – I like it more than M412 becouse magnum has better sights and does more damage;
Also XM25 launcher has very nice feature: if you look at the wall and push shift you will mark that distance and your granades/rockets will explode at that distance, it’s very good for killing somebody behind cover..
Lethals and Tacticals
I can tell you that prtable radar is most OP equipment it’s free UAV for you and your teammates.
Sombody said that i don’t realy know what scrambler does, well..
This little “wi-fi router” can do more than description says:
It acts like a blind eye perk for any ally in range.
For Lethal C4 and Semtex are overused ones, bettys and claymores can be rather good defensive tools, but be aware of players who use stalker perk.
#4 Perks
Alright, i will tell you.
Blue perks.
From all blue perks that i played with i can tell that blind eye is best but if you’re going low on ammo
you can go with scavenger and for those tactical dudes out there i can recomend recon, pair it with flashbang and some explosive weapons like XM25 and you can get your enemies on your mini-map 24/7 whole round.
Oh well i forget to tell you how awsome Scavenger is and why quick weapon swaping is so important:
Pro version of Scavenger let’s you to… scavenge dead bodies for some ammo (but not rockets or any lethals or tacticals, except throwing knifes) and have max ammo every time you spawn.
Sleight of Hand on other hand (this sounds so dumb) allowes youreload faster and pro version alowes you to swap your weapons faster (if you mix this with pistol and riffle that has increased weapon swap speed you can get “instant” swap).
Red perks.
Most OP perk here is Assasin: hides you from UAV,HBS,Portable radar and pro version gives you protection from CUAV, Scrambler and EMP, also you won’t ever be identified by enemy.
Other perks good too, I prefer Blast shield (reduses insta-kill range on explosives by half and fro version gives you resistance from flashbangs) and Hard line help me in getting streaks faster (pro version counts 2 assists as 1 kill towards your streak).
Yellow perks.
Dead silence…
Everyone uses Dead silence becouse you gat that sweet no fall damage when you get it pro, but real OP perk here is SitRep, pro version is simply WallHack but using your ears.
Also, Stalker perk is very good too, not only you get increased walk speed whyle aiming but with pro version you will trigger enemy traps (bettys and claymores) with delay so you can easyly get away from them before they will kill you.
#5 My Opinion on this game
Yep, you heard me right, don’t play this game, it has angry community full of tryhards who can’t accept defeat and they will get mad at you, they will say that you’re bad a this game and you should kill yoursefl. So yeah, want to relax but don’t want to get stompeded by some sweaty tryhards? go play chess, it’s way more intelectual and peaceful game.
And you ask me what i mean by saying “grow up real quick” ? By that i mean before playing this game get some theoretical knowledge, watch some videos on youtube, read wiki and other community guides!
