Combat Arms: Reloaded “First Steps”

Overview

I play this game since nearly 9 years and now with the Steam release I am happy to see again new player joining us. And since we have now again a global chat, I see also often questions arising of new players.So I prepared this small guide and hope it can help new player.Note:If you find mistakes or you have suggestions for adjustments or missing subjects, don’t hesistate and let me know. I may adjust and I am thankful for any help.I will update this guide bit by bit. There is some more stuff I would like to add.

First week as new player:

New players have often problems with the UI. Where do I find this, where can I find the shop, I see many questions.

There is a new Event available for new player called “7DAYS Event“.
How to reach it:
– Open the main menu (HOME).
– Scroll down to the EVENT Tab and open 7DAYS EVENT

Doing these tasks within the event in the first week of playing Combat Arms: Reloaded is a little help to get used to the UI and serves some nice rewards for the start.

In this guide can new player do every day in the first week multiple tasks which are helping to learn about the game and its Interface. Every done task rewards the player.

Attention:
This event disappears after the first week of game account creation. So hurry up and go for your daily tasks in it.

Then I find latest often questions about the usage of keys. How can I use my pistole, how can I switch etc…

Shop / Inventory / Reward Inbox:

The difficult part in the Interface…

You get different rewards like for example from 1 week event (you need to request aka “accept” the rewards in the event menu when you finished the task), hot time rewards, daily login rewards, game mode rewards if you finished the missions etc…
All these rewards drop into the Reward Inbox.
You need to accept them in the Reward Inbox. They drop down into your inventory after it.

Attention on:
It is possible that rewards have expiration dates in the Reward Inbox.
Make sure to receive them.

Check them with “all” and the yellow button “ACCEPT” pops up which you need to press to the receive them into your inventory.

And now we move slowly but surely into the inventory part.

Depending on the reward item, they drop into the inventory as “sealed” items.
Entering “EQUIPMENT” opens on the right side of screen the inventory. On top of it you find specific tabs. These tabs, where received new items from the reward inbox have new items, are marked with an orange “N” like New. There you find your new received and sealed items.
If you want use these sealed items, you need to unseal them first.

Sometimes you find the same item a couple of times which is marked with “Dots” and a number. Press these dots and you will find the list of stucked same items like in this screenshot example. 11 Bonus EXP+GP Passes are already unsealed and usable in the inventory and 1 new is sealed available dropped as reward from a game. Unsealing it stucks up the usable passes to 12. Keeping it unsealed let it expire as an expiration time is applied to it.

And here again, Attention!
Some sealed items have an expiration time. If you don’t unseal them in time, they expire and get removed.

The SHOP menu is similar to the EQUIPMENT and can be reached via the main menu / HOME. It is devided in a couple of tabs.
Open the related tab of the item you are looking for:

• Weapon
• Gear
• Cosmetic
• Function

After this you can filter.
Check the categories you are looking for and apply. All related items in the shop you was choosing with the filter will show up.

You can also use the search function. Don’t forget: If, like in the example screenshot, multiple items show up, choose the item you are looking for and press the search sign.
Pressing “Enter” doesn’t work to search for this item.
