Overview
Hi, here I will tell you about comeback machanic and how your killing spree works and why it is needed.
Comeback mechanic
The Comeback Mechanic is a Gameplay Mechanic in Siege and Ranked that gives the team, which is behind according to score, an advantage while capturing the Capture Point.
The Comeback Mechanic has two types:
Strong Comeback Mechanic
The strong comeback mechanic always occurs when a team is two point behind at the capture phase.
This team receives 4% per tick while capturing. The team in the lead receives 3% per tick.
Attenuated Comeback Mechanic
The attenuated comeback mechanic always occurs when a team is one point behind at the capture phase.
This team alternately receives 3% or 4% per tick while capturing. The team in the lead receives 3% per tick.
Note: The goal capture for the leading team is 34 ticks, and for the losing team, if it falls 4 %, approximately 24 ticks
Killing spree or ultimate mechanic
Ultimate abilities (Commonly referred to by players as ‘Ults’) are the most powerful abilities in Paladins only available to a Champion once their Ultimate Meter has filled. The Ultimate Meter fills by dealing damage to enemy Champions or healing allies. This meter passively gains a 1% charge every 3s but can be actively increased by dealing damage to enemies and restoring the missing health of allies. The rate at which the Ultimate Meter fills can be increased by Morale Boost.
Morale Boost is a Utility Item.
It provides a 10% ultimate charge rate bonus per rank.
Landing a Killing Blow on an enemy with a high killstreak grants an additional 10% ultimate charge for each kill streak after the 5th which scales as follows:
Simple explanation: If an enemy, for example, has a streak “Savage (9 kills)”, then, based on the table above, when you kill this enemy, it instantly gives you 40 % to the ultimate charge
