Complete guide for Elementary Evil

Overview

Warning, this guide contains a lot of spoiler for Chapter 2. Proceed with caution.

Zone 1

Zone 1 contains 127 Soul Shards and three secret rooms.
Memories room DOES NOT count towards Secrets counter.

Zone 2

Once you proceed to Zone 2, you’re left with 156 and one secret room.
Agatha’s Hideout DOES NOT count towards Secrets counter.

Secret Room 1 (The Third Toilet)

Secret Room 2 (Agatha’s Hideout)

Escape Part

Once you’ve collected all the Soul Shards and obtained the ring piece, Agatha will stop you and shortly after a Malak chase will begin.
Here’s a little list of things you may consider thinking of before playing:

• Fake portals spawn Agatha on contact in front of you.
• Agatha can be fully avoided by not touching any of the portals.
• Malak’s breathing gets louder the closer he is to you.

  Red path can be taken through replay mode.
  Purple parth can be taken through both story and replay mode.

  

Level Results

These are the requirements for getting S Rank on Elementary Evil.

Time: 15:00 or less (+60 Shards).
Soul Shards: 283 Soul Shards (+0 Shards).
Bonus Shards: Two (+15 Shards).
Secrets: Four (+25 Shards).
Lives lost: One or less (+25 Shards)
Shard Streak: 250 (+25 Shards).
Total Shards: 433

4/10, Beat Elementary Evil without ever touching the Stun Shard.

6/10, Enter “Agatha’s hideout” secret room in Zone 2.

2/10, Climb on a slide in the playground and have some fun!

7/10, Never touch a single fake portal during an escape sequence from Malak.

10/10, Get S Rank on Elementary Evil.
