Gossip and Love Log Events

Gossip Events

Gossip events are triggered at the campfire by sitting with Moss Mann. They function in four stages. First, you choose which player who will be affected by the rumor you create. Then you are given 4 options which determine the stat being changed. The next 4 options determine the numeric value lost or gained (-2, -4, +2, +4). Finally, you are given a fill-in-the-blank prompt that does not affect the impact of the rumor.

Love Log Events

Love Log events are triggered by two players sitting together at the campfire. The second player to sit on the Log is prompted to pick from 5 options, which determines the stat that the first player will gain. The first player gains +5 of the chosen stat. The second player gains +1 of every other stat. If a player ends up sitting on the love log alone, they will lose stats.

Drinks and Items

Drinks

The drinks in Monster Camp, like the shop items in Monster Prom, are unlocked by exploring the game. They each have different effects. Most change stats or game play, some open up new plot lines, others give the game new aesthetics and music. For user convenience, this guide includes the name, image, and effects of each drink Juan has available in the order in which they appear in the Gallery.

Items

The items chosen at the beginning of a run determine each players stats at the start of the game. They can each boost a primary and secondary stat. Similarly to the drinks, this guide lists the name, image, and stats affected by each item. They appear in alphabetical order.

Misc.

Misc. Notes:

For completionists and/or those trying to get a specific outcome, to get consistent successful outcomes, the drinks Community Punch and Stat Smoothie are very useful. For consistent failure outcomes, Poison definitely helps.

The in-game Event Checklist is extremely helpful, but it can’t be accessed during a run so I’d recommend having a separate list of what you have and haven’t gotten to keep track of outcomes.
