One-Handed Melee Weapons

One-Handed Melee weapons are the most common weapons in TABG. They range from Batons to Sabres, and I’ll be identifying each one in detail.

The Pan


Hits to kill: 3 Hits to Limbs and Torso, or 1 Hit to the Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will kill or knock out the target instantly.

The Pan has a slow swing-speed, and can be swung just over once per second (you may be able to swing it twice per second if you swing long enough).

Rapier


Hits to kill: 5 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will knock down the target for 1 second, before they get back up.

The Rapier has a fast swing speed, and can be swung 3 times per second.

Crowbar


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will knock down the target for 1 second, before they get back up.

The Crowbar has a fast swing speed, and can be swung 3 times per second.

Sabre


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will knock down the target for 1 second, before they get back up.

The Sabre has a medium swing speed, and can be swung 2.5 times per second.

The Sabre’s first swing will always be a downcut, making it incredibly easy to hit someone’s head and knock them down. Keep this in mind and time your swings to maximize kills.

Cleaver


Hits to kill: 5 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

No special effects occur upon headshotting an enemy.

The Cleaver has a fast swing speed, and can be swung 3 times per second.

Crusader Sword


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will knock down the target for 1 second, before they get back up.

The Crusader Sword has a fast swing speed, and can be swung 3 times per second.

Baton


Hits to kill: 6 to Limbs, 4 to Torso, 2 to Head.

No special effects occur upon headshotting an enemy.

The Baton has a very fast swing speed, and can be swung 4 times per second.

Viking Axe


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot with the Viking Axe will knock down the target for 1 second, before they get back up.

The Viking Axe has a medium swing speed, and can be swung 2.5 times per second.

Knife


Hits to kill: 6 to Limbs, 4 to Torso, 2 to Head.

No special effects occur upon headshotting an enemy with the Knife.

The Knife has a very fast swing speed, and can be swung 4 times per second.

All One-Handed Melee Weapons done, onto Two-Handed melee weapons!

Two-Handed Melee Weapons

Two-Handed Melee Weapons are less common than One-Handed, and swing slow but hit like a truck. I will be identifying each one below, in detail.

Katana


Hits to kill: 2 to Limbs, 2 to Torso, 1 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will kill or knock out the target instantly.

The Katana has a slow swing speed, and can be swung twice per second.

The Katana will always swing down, making it easy to hit headshots. Aim for the face!

Jarl Axe


Hits to kill: 2 to Limbs, 2 to Torso, 1 to Head.

Hitting a successful headshot will kill or knock out the target instantly.

The Jarl Axe has a slow swing speed, and can be swung twice per second.

The Jarl Axe feels a lot more weighty that the Katana, and, upon attacking while in mid-air, you will perform a powerful downcut. Utilize this when above enemies and kill them without them knowing what happened!

Special Melee Weapons

These melee weapons are considered “special” because they either cannot be found in the Shooting Range or cannot be looted by normal means.

Boxing Glove

Exact stats are unknown, but it supposed damage is 4 to Limbs, 4 to Torso and 2 to Head. The Boxing Glove spawns in pairs.

Black Katana


Exact stats are unknown, but when you attack with this weapon, your character will lunge forwards incredibly fast.

Holy Sword

A unique Crusader Sword which glows bright orange. Supposed Damage is 2 to Limbs, 2 to Torso, 1 to Head. This sword is also locked to a specific gamemode. Apparently, when thrown, it will summon a larger version of the Holy Sword.

The image above is the aftermath of your character throwing the Holy Sword. It does in fact summon a much larger sword, possibly as a makeshift airstrike.

Spear

Nothing is known about the Spear. It is possibly an unobtainable weapon.

Handguns

Handguns are suprisingly uncommon to see in-game, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad. I will be identifying all of the Handguns, in detail.

TIP: Handguns maintain damage up until around 100 meters, then the damage will drop off exponentially. Keep this in mind.

M1911


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hits to kill w/ HB: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Magazine Size: 7.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Recoil: Very low, very spammable.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: .45 ACP.

Unique Traits: None.

Extra Info: With a Heavy Barrel, headshots will knock down the target for 1 second before they get back up.

Luger-P08


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Hits to kill w/ HB: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Magazine Size: 8.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Recoil: Very low, very spammable.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Glock 18C


Hits to kill: 9 to Limbs, 7 to Torso, 4 to Head.

Magazine Size: 25.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Recoil: Very low, very spammable/Low, easy to control but inaccurate.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger/Incredibly fast.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto/Full-Auto.

Ammo Type: 9mm.

Unique Traits: It is the only Full-Auto Handgun in the game.

Beretta M93R


Hits to kill: 7 to Limbs, 5 to Torso, 3 to Head.

Magazine Size: 20.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Recoil: Very low, very spammable/Low, easy to control and accurate.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger/Incredibly fast 3 round burst.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto/3-round Burst

Ammo Type: 9mm.

Unique Traits: It is the only burst-fire Handgun in the game.

Extra Info: None.

Desert Eagle


Hits to Kill: 3 to Limbs, 2 to Chest, 1 to Head.

Magazine Size: 8.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 250m/s.

Recoil: Medium, controllable but kicks the player back.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: 7.62mm.

Unique Traits: It is the only Handgun that can instantly kill a full-health target with a single headshot.

Extra Info: Can instantly kill targets with a headshot from anywhere within 15 meters.

Revolver


Hits to Kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Magazine Size: 6.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 250m/s.

Recoil: Medium, controllable but kicks the player back.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: 7.62mm.

Unique Traits: It is the only Revolving weapon in the game.

Extra Info: With a Heavy Barrel, headshots will kill or knock out the target instantly, and has a much longer 1-shot range than the Desert Eagle.

Taser


Hits to kill: N/A

Magazine Size: 1.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Very Slow, around 25m/s.

Recoil: Virtually none, but projectile arcs into the ground past 15-20 meters.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: Taser Ammo.

Unique Traits: Upon hitting an enemy, they will be stunned and knocked to the ground for 4 seconds while flailing, before getting back up.

Extra Info: After tasing an enemy, switch to another weapon to kill them or run away. Or, you can keep them in a permenant stunlock with enough ammo. The Taser will also make the target drop their equipped weapon upon impact.

Flintlock


Hits to kill: 1 to Limbs, 1 to Torso, 1 to Head. Damage drops off after 10 meters, becomes 2 to Limbs, 2 to Torso and 2 to Head past 15 meters.

Magazine Size: 1.

Reload Speed: Fast-ish, exactly 1.5 seconds.

Bullet Speed: Fairly Fast, around 150m/s.

Recoil: Large visible recoil, low physical kick.

Firerate: As fast as you can pull the trigger.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: Musket Ammo.

Unique Traits: It’s the only handgun which’s damage drops off so early on, as well as one of three supposed Musket variants in-game, those being the Musket and the Miniature Cannon.

Extra Info: With a Heavy Barrel, the one-shot range of Torsoshots and Headshots is increased exponentially, but it will do less Limb damage, and cannot 1 shot limbs from any range.

Special Handguns

These handguns are considered secret because they either do not spawn in the Shooting Range or are not findable by normal loot spawn means.

Hand Cannon (AKA: Miniature Cannon)


The stats for this weapon are the same as the Flintlock. It fires Musket Ammo, and is a literal cannon.

Hardballer

The exact stats are unknown, but it is most likely the same as the M1911.

Unqiue Traits: Comes pre-equipped with a suppressor, replaces the barrel slot so no other barrel attachment can be added.

The Really Big Deagle


The stats are unknown, but the damage of this weapon is supposedly higher than the normal Desert Eagle.

Real Gun

Stats are unknown, and it does no damage.

Hand Gun

A literal Finger Gun. Supposedly a complete remodel of the M1911.

The Cricket

Hits to Kill: 1-shot to any body part.

Hits to Kill w/ HB: 1-shot to any body part.

Magazine size: 1.

Reload speed: Medium.

Bullet speed: Slow.

Firerate: Medium.

Recoil: Extremely High.

Firing modes: Single.

Ammo type: .45 ACP.

This is most likely a reference to the movie “Men in Black” where the main character wielded a very small but powerful weapon known as “The Noisy Cricket”.

Liberating M1911

A unique variant of the M1911. This weapon has two American Flags coming out of the sides of the gun. Otherwise, it is identical in stats to the normal M1911.

Shotguns

Shotguns are hard-hitters at close range, but are lackluster past that, and against armour. I’ll be identifying each shotgun, in detail.

Mossberg 500


Hits to kill: 1 to Limbs, 1 to Torso and 1 to Head within 5 meters, 2 to Limbs, 2 to Torso and 2 to Head past 10 meters. Will become near-random after 20 meters.

Hits to kill w/ HB: Same as above, but 1 shot kill range to the Head has been dramatically increased.

Magazine Size: 5.

Reload Speed: Relatively Slow, at 2.25 seconds.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Firerate: Slow, can fire 2 shells per second.

Recoil: High visible recoil, but doesn’t push the player back very far.

Firing Modes: Pump-Action.

Ammo Type: 12 Gauge Shells.

Unique Traits: The Mossberg-500 fires buckshot, but in an incredibly tight space. This means you can snipe with it, as there is minimal spead. Be careful, though. The one-shot potential drops off past 20-25 meters. You were warned!

Extra Info: The Mossberg is a reliable killing machine in close quaters against targets without body armour. Utilize this gun in the beginning of the round to quickly rack up kills!

Double-Barrel Shotgun


Hits to kill: 1 to Limbs, 1 to Torso and 1 to Head within 5 meters, completely random past 10 meters.

Hits to kill w/ HB: One-shot kill range increased to 7-8 meters, past 10 meters is still completely random.

Magazine Size: 2.

Reload Speed: Fast, at 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Firerate: Fast, can fire both shells within 0.5 seconds.

Recoil: High visible recoil, kicks the player back like a mule.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: 12 Gauge Shells.

Unique Traits: It is the only Break-Action Double-Barreled weapon in the game.

Extra Info: None.

AA-12


Hits to kill: 1-2 to Limbs, 1 to Torso and 1 to Head at Pont Blank, past 3-5 meters is random, usually a three-shot kill when aiming for Centre of Mass.

Hits to kill w/ HB: Almost makes no difference, 1 shot kill range increased to 4-5 metres.

Magazine Size: 20.

Reload Speed: Very Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fairly Fast, around 150m/s

Firerate: Full Auto, 6 shells per second.

Recoil: Low visible recoil, kicks the player back slightly.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto/Full-Auto

Ammo Type: 12 Gauge Shells.

Unique Traits. The only default Full-Auto shotgun in-game.

Extra Info: The pellets spread a lot past 5 meters, but maintain damage for quite a distance, until 50 meters.

Blunderbuss

Hits to kill: 1 to Limbs, 1 to Torso and 1 to Head inbetween 5 meters, 2 to Limbs, 1 to Torso and 2 to Head up to 10 meters, 2 shot kill past 10 meters, ineffective past 20 meters.

Hits to kill w/ HB: The same as above, but one-shot headshot range increased to 10-15 meters, One-shot range to the Torso increased to 15-20 meters.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Firerate: N/A, single-shot.

Recoil: High recoil, kicks the player back.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto.

Ammo Type: Musket Ammo.

Unique Traits: None.

Extra Info: None.

Special Shotguns

These shotguns are considered special as they either do not show up in the Shooting Range, or they cannot be looted by normal means.

Flying Blunderbuss

Special Blunderbuss with wings on each side. Supposedly has the same stats as the Regular Blunderbuss, but has a huge knockback and can knock the enemy back incredibly far.

Special Mossberg-500

Special Mossberg-500 with glowing yellow accents. Supposedly has more recoil, more damage but a much wider spread than the normal Mossber-500. Also has richocetting bullets.

Liberating AA-12

A Special AA-12 with American Flags coming out of each side. Has the same stats as the normal AA-12, but it can be dual wielded and is locked to Full-Auto only.

SMGs

SMGs are the largest class of weapons in TABG, not counting Special Weapons, and can pack a punch in close quarters combat. I will be examining each one, in detail.

MAC-10

Hits to kill: 10 to Limbs, 7 to Torso, 4 to Head. Damage is maintained until 15 meters, then it drops like the value of the Great British Pound Sterling.

Hits to kill w/ HB: 8 to Limbs, 6 to Torso, 3 to Head. Damage is maintained until 20 meters before dropping like panties on prom night (I have no regrets).

Magazine Size: 32.

Reload Speed: Fast, exactly 1 second.

Bullet Speed: Fast, around 200m/s.

Firerate: Very Fast, exactly 20 rounds per second.

Recoil: Medium, controllable recoil.

Firing Modes: Semi-Auto/Full-Auto

Ammo Type: 9mm.

TEC-9

Hits to kill: 6 to Limbs, 5 to Torso, 3 to Head. Damage is maintained until 35 meters, where it drops rapidly.

Hits to kill: 6-9 to Limbs, 5 to Torso, 3 to Head. Damage is maintained until 25 meters, where it drops gradually. After 30 meters, drops rapidly.

M1A1-Thompson

Special SMGs

These SMGs are considered special because they can either not be found on the Shooting Range, or cannot be looted by normal means.

Gangsta MAC-10

A special MAC-10 with money strapped to the sides. Supposedly has the same stats as the default MAC-10, but spawns in pairs.

Liberating M1A1-Thompson

A unique variant of the Thompson. It has two American Flags coming out of each side of the gun, and is identical in stats to the regular Thompson, apart from the fact that they can be dual wielded.

Water Gun

A unique Sub-Machine gun in the form of a Water Gun. Does a low amount of damage, and has very slow projectiles, but has a lot of knockback and fires incredibly fast.

Assault Rifles

Assault Rifles are a common staple in all First Person Shooters, and usually pack a punch in medium range firefights. I will be examining each one, in detail.

AK-47

Hits to kill: 5 to Arms, 6 to Lower Arms, 5 to Legs, 6 to Lower Legs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head. Damage is maintained until 50 meters, where it drops gradually.

Hits to kill w/ HB: 4 to Arms, 5 to Lower Arms, 4 to Legs, 5 to Lower Legs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head. Damage is maintained until 50 meters, where it drops gradually.

Magazine Size: 30.

Reload Speed: Slow, around 2 seconds.

Special Assault Rifles

These assault rifles are considered special as they either cannot be found in the Shooting Range, or they cannot be looted by normal means.

Burstgun

A unique variant of the M16, which is only available in Burst mode. When fired, it will fire all 30 rounds within it’s magazine, until it runs out and requires a reload. Otherwise, it is identical in stats to the normal M16.

Liberating M16

A unique variant of the M16. It has two American Flags coming out of each side, and is identical in stats to the normal M16, apart from the fact that it can be dual wielded.

AK-2K47

A unique variant of the AK-47. This weapon’s pistol grip, stock and handle are a dark earthy green colour, instead of the iconic Brown Antique Wood colour. The weapon holds 40 rounds instead of 30, and comes with a futuristic, unique 4x scope. The weapon also fires richocetting bullets.

LMGs

LMGs are hard-hitting alternatives to ARs. I’ll be examining each one, in detail.

M1918-BAR

Hits to kill: 4 to Arms, 6 to Lower Arms, 4 to Legs, 6 to Lower Legs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head. Damage is maintained until 40 meters, where it drops gradually.

Sniper Rifles

Sniper Rifles dominate the fight at long distances, by delivering high-speed, high-damage rounds to unsuspecting victims. I will be examining each Sniper Rifle, in detail.

VSS

Hits to kill: 5 to Arms, 8 to Lower Arms, 5 to Legs, 8 to Lower Legs, 4 to Torso, 2 to Head. Damage is maintained until 70 meters, where it drops rapidly.

Extra Info: Shots to the Torso will knock down targets for 1 second, before they get back up. If a headshot does not kill instantly, the target will be knocked down for around 1 second, before they get back up.

M1 Garand

Special Sniper Rifles

These Sniper Rifles are considered secret because they either do not spawn in the Shooting Range or they cannot be looted by normal means.

Alien Sniper

A unique variant of the AWP. Comes with a pre-equipped scope which is incredibly wierd to look through. This is most likely a placeholder for the model which could be coming soon.

Really Big Barrett

A unique variant of the Barrett. This weapon is much larger than the default Barrett, and has ludicrous recoil, bullet speed and damage, one-shotting anyone from anywhere. When you fire this weapon, your character will be thrown back incredibly far.

Special Specials

I’ve jumped ahead a bit here, because people keep asking for the bloody Megagun, so let’s get it over and done with, shall we?

Mega Gun

The Mega Gun is a unique variant of the Mini Gun, boasting a longer, red barrel rack and it’s unique ability to shoot red tracers. It has extreme recoil, enough to launch you around like it’s a jetpack. All other stats seem to be the same as the Mini Gun.

The name “Mega Gun” is most likely a play on words with the “Mini Gun” being mini version of this unique weapon.

Added early because people don’t shut up about it.

Liberating Minigun

The Liberating Minigun is a unique variant of the Minigun. It has two American flags coming from each side. The stats are identical, save for the fact that they can be dual wielded.

Others

These items are either unknown, unobtainable or just downright weird.

Transcention Orb

This is a very unique item. It is most likely unobtainable through normal gameplay means, as I have never seen it in-game myself. It is a bright glowing pink sphere, which, when consumed, sticks to your forehead.

Money Stack

The Money Stack is a very unique item. It does no damage, takes “Money Ammo”, and allows you to make it rain on unsuspecting enemies.

Sniper Shotgun…?

This is a very unique item. It’s most likely a dev testing weapon, and is highly likely to be unobtainable through normal gameplay means. It resembles a mix of the M14 and the Blunderbuss, and all stats are unknown.

Shields

Shields can be used in conjuction with melee weapons, handguns, or just on their own. I will be identifying each one, in detail.

Riot Shield (Medieval)


Hits to kill: 6 to Limbs, 4 to Torso, 2 to Head.

No special effects upon headshotting an enemy.

Properties of Shield:

  • One-Handed.
  • Covers most of Upper Body, leaves 1 Arm, both legs and the upper half of the head open.
  • Obstructs a good portion of your view.

Riot Shield (Modern)


Hits to kill: 6 to Limbs, 4 to Torso, 2 to Head.

No special effects upon headshotting an enemy.

Properties of Shield:

  • One-Handed.
  • Leaves only the feet open (nothing if crouching).
  • No view obstruction at all.

Ballistic Shield


Hits to kill: 4 to Limbs, 3 to Torso, 2 to Head.

Properties of Shield:

  • Two-Handed.
  • Leaves only the feet open (nothing if crouching).
  • Massively obstructs view.
  • Covers back from all ballistic weapons from behind when not equipped.

Special Shields

These shields are considered special because they either do not spawn in the Shooting Range or they cannot be found by normal looting means.

Ballistic Shields

A special, two-handed Ballistic Shield which is just three Ballistic Shields attached to each other. The wearer is a lot harder to shoot from the front and sides, but they also have a much more limited view + they can be shot from behind.

Attachments

Attachments are uncommon and change the way a weapon feels. This could range from sights, to muzzle attachments. I will be identifying each one in detail.

Compensator

Properties of Attachment:

  • Decreases recoil significantly.

Heavy Barrel

Properties of Attachment:

  • Increases Damage by 20%.
  • Improves Sight Visibility when shooting due to increasing distance to Muzzle-Flash.
  • Decreases Bulletdrop for Musket Weapons.
  • Increases Recoil.

Suppressor

Properties of Attachment:

  • Lowers Shot Volume significantly.
  • Decreases recoil slightly.
  • Reduces muzzle flash significantly.
  • Increases Bullet drop (or actually gives BD in the first place).

Laser Sight

Properties of Attachment:

  • Improves Shot Grouping.
  • Helps aiming when firing from the hip.
  • Can easily be seen by enemies.

Red Dot Sight

Properties of Attachment:

  • Helps with targeting at short ranges.

2x Scope

Properties of Attachment:

  • Helps with targeting at short-medium ranges.
  • Due to slightly elevated and zoomed in viewpoint, slightly increases visual recoil.

4x Scope

Properties of Attachment:

  • Helps with targeting at medium-long ranges.
  • Due to slightly elevated and zoomed in viewpoint, moderately increases visual recoil.

8x Scope

Properties of Attachment:

  • Helps with targeting at long ranges.
  • Due to slightly elevated and zoomed in viewpoint, heavily increases visual recoil.
  • Due to zoom, muzzle-flash is more view-obstructing.

Special Attachments

These attachments are considered special because they either do not show up in the Shooting Range, or cannot be found by normal loot spawn means. Keep this in mind!

0.5x Scope

Properties of Attachment:

  • Basically a reversed binocular for your masochistic needs.
  • Doesnt help with aiming at all.
  • Massively increases FOV when trying to aim.
  • In short, it’s completely useless as an effective attachment.


Periscope Barrel

Properties of Attachment:

  • Lets you shoot over obstacles due to elevated barrel-end.
  • Can obstruct walking when equipped.
  • Useless unless paired with the Periscope Scope.

Periscope

Properties of Attachment:

  • Lets you properly aim when using the Persiscope Barrel.
  • Can obstruct walking when equipped.
  • Useless unless paired with the Periscope Barrel.

Tips and Tricks

This will showcase any tips and tricks that I or someone esle has found.

Tip 1: You can throw almost anything if you place it into the Throwables slot. Use it to throw items or ammo over walls, or easily drop attachments and weapons!

TIp 2: You can put a pan on your head. I don’t know why you’d want to do this, but it’s possible.
