Console Commands
Activate Console
First of all you have to activate the console. Therefore you have to find the "settings.txt" file depending on your operating system.
File location on WinXP:
C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Runic Games\Torchlight
File location on Win7/Vista:
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Runic Games\Torchlight
(but be aware, that you have to display hidden folders/files to be able to see the AppData folder)
Then open the settings.txt and look for the line containing "Console: 0". Just change this line to "Console: 1" and save the txt file.
Note: By using some of these commands you character will be marked as cheater!
Now start the game and as soon as you are in game, playing with your character, you can open the console on the bottom by pressing the following keys simultaneously:
Close the console again by clicking the red X in the upper right corner or you can press ESC.

reloads textures (may crash game)

displays the filename and path that corresponds to the room that the player is in

activates additional speed for your character

gives you x amount dexterity
MAGIC x
gives you x amount magic
DEFENSE x
gives you x amount defense
ALLSTATS x
gives you x amount in to all stats
FAME x
gives x fame
SKILL
displays the list of skill numbers and names
SKILL NAME x
gives you a specified amount of skill points for the skill that you name
SKILLPOINTS x
gives you x skillpoints
IDENTIFYALL
identifies all items in the inventory (no items in the inventory of your pet)
ITEM
display the list of item numbers and names
ITEM x
places the specified item into your inventory
NOXP
disables experience gaining
KILLALL
kills all monsters
ALWAYSCRIT
all hits are critical
RESETSKILLS
resets your skills
SETDIFFICULTY x
sets the game difficulty to x
