Creating Card Decks with Gambler Gordon Freeman for Tabletop Simulator

Creating Card Decks with Gambler Gordon Freeman

Overview

Since the guides in steam and youtube didin’t help much soo I decided to make my own guide with the help of the gambler gordon freeman! If you find any mistackes please comment soo I fix them! Also thank’s to the creators of this amazing game! This guide is 100% made by Thatbrownmonster

1st:Finding the template

First off we need the template for the cards

Go to you’re library and find the game:Tabletop simulator
With you’re mouse right click the game’s name and go to properties

Now select local files-Browse local files

And find a picture called:
cards_template.jpg or cards_square_template.jpg

2nd:Editing the picture

Soo now you need to open the picture with a picture editing programme
I reccomend paint. net ,like i did,but you can allways use photoshop or other software you have,it just need to be able to save the picture as jpg for the better qualety.

You can edit each card but if you are doing the classic cards it needs to have 4 of each one of these:
-The numbers 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
-The Jack
-The Queen
-The king
-The Ace

-The joker(optional)

Here is a template i made to help anyone who needs!

IT DOSEN’T NEED TO HAVE ALL THE CARDS
In the game you can select how many cards the deck has soo you don’t need to worry much about blank spaces.

And remenber to save the picture with a different name and allways save in jpg.

3rd:Uploading the picture to the internet

The game needs to get his template from the internet with a direct link

Do not try uploading to the steam art hub
(It won’t work)

Send you’re picture to a website that has direct links;
I used a websites like http://imgur.com . but you can use anyone you want(Only if it has a direct link)

This is how you send it to imgur.
Go to upload images

And then browse you’re picture and uploaded it!

This is one picture i send to demonstrate this guide

Simply copy the direct link and save the link in a word file soo you never lose it!

4th:Testing the deck

Now open the game and go to the singleplayer mode

In the game section select just the table

Now go to Host<Chest

Now inside the chest select the custom square

Now select deck and a window will pop-up,In this window you’ll need to send the Direct links of the pictures and select how many cards are there.

Back picture(optional)

The back picture is the back of every card.
Simply take a card from the templateand change it to how you would like it.Then do the part 3 of this guide with this picture.
