Ahh its good to be back to make another guide for CoF ;DLet’s get Started – Outfits-Different outfits can be unlocked in the form of hoodies/full body reskins. By finding the hoodies ingame or meeting certain criteria afterwards they can be accessed in wardrobe while you are in one of the Secret Rooms.Half Life Creations Hoodie – Can be picked up in a room at the Apartments in Chapter 1Sick Simon Hoodie – Beat the game with Ending 4Hello Kitty Hoodie – Press the Use key on the dead cat in the vents (In chapter 4) 5 times.David Leatherhoff Hoodie – Beat the game with Ending 5Twitcher Hoodie – Obtained by killing a twitcher with David Leatherhoff’s axe in the “Heaven” level.Mod DB Hoodie – Found on the kitchen counter of a apartment in Chapter 3 that you climb out to reach the rooftops.Afraid of Monsters Hoodie – Inside the Harbor College in Chapter 4Camo Hoodie – Beat the game with Ending 2Black Metal Hoodie – Beat the game with Ending 1Awesome Hoodie – Watch every ending at least once (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5)Team Psykskallar Hoodie – Beat the game with Ending 3Custom Hoodie – Unlock all the other clothing (must complete game again after unlocking every outfit)Endings -Ending 1: This ending is unlocked if Simon spared the life of Carcass and refused to show trust in Doctor Purnell in the asylum. The therapy fails outright and Simon develops a deep hatred for the world around him, the book having a negative affect and setting him on the road to self-destruction. In spite for those around him, Simon murders the real Doctor Purnell in his apartment and butchers Sophie, putting her body in his bathtub. He then commits suicide following finishing his book, his body discovered by the police soon after.SuicidalSimon after comitting suicide.Ending 2: This ending is unlocked if Simon spared the life of Carcass, but trusted Doctor Purnell and gave him the gun he requested. In this ending, Simon shows respect for Purnell and his efforts to help Simon – but ultimately believes it was futile, coming to the resolution that his life means nothing now. Due to the guilt caused by his issues with Sophie still existing due to Carcass being left alive, Simon is unable to leave her for someone else to have once he is gone and murders her in his home before committing suicide as the police arrive.Ending 3: This ending is unlocked if Simon killed Carcass, but refused to give Doctor Purnell his gun. This is the opposite of the second ending, Simon having murdered Doctor Purnell like in the first ending but sparing Sophie due to the elimination of his guilt and attachment. Simon comes to regard Sophie as the only person who ever truly tried to help him and in his last statements before shooting himself, Simon requests that whoever reads his book spares her the horror of what happened to him.Ending 4: Arguably the ‘good’ ending, unlocked by killing Carcass and trusting Doctor Purnell with the gun.Ending 5:Delivering the Serect Package Weapons -These weapons are overpowered/joke weapons not intended to be in the game for serious playthroughs and can be unlocked by finding specific items in game or meeting certain criteria upon singleplayer campaign completion. They can be found laid out on a table in both secret rooms of the game.Camera – Unlocked by beating the game in under 2.5 hours. Patch 1.2 corrected a glitch where the player might obtain the camera without meeting the aforementioned requirement.Simon’s Book – Unlocked by beating the game in Nightmare mode and acquiring a S rank.FAMAS – Unlocked by beating the game with any Ending/Ranking in Nightmare Mode.David Leatherhoff’s Axe – In “Heaven,” go to the door that requires a code to enter (26-16-4-27-49-2-32-45-12-23). You will find the axe in that room. Use it on a twitcher once to obtain it as an unlockable.MP9 – The Brügger and Thomet MP9 (Commonly known as “MP9” or its previous name “TMP”) is the second automatic weapon in Cry of Fear. It is only available to those who have donated 10 US Dollars or more to the game developers and are in the Cry of Fear Donators Steam group. It deals half the damage of a Glock 19, but it has a 30-round magazine, being extremely useful when fighting Slowers .Previously, the MP9 was named the Steyr TMP although the name was changed to the MP9 on the Steam Standalone version of Cry of Fear. However, it is still referred to as “TMP” in the game data files. If a player has not donated, the MP9 will be replaced by a Glock 19 and the MP9 ammo will be replaced with 9mm Bullets. The MP9 can apparently be found in three different locations:The TL Trading Building (Upon picking the MP9 up, the player will encounter the 3 headed slower)In the OfficesIn the subwaysWhen MP9 ammo starts to appear, the player is close.Other -There are other things that can be unlocked by doing certain things ingame or achieving a certain rank or ending. (Do NOT pick up the doorknob, this will cause Sawrunner to chase you)How to unlock hoodies – When going through the maintainence shafts in the Subway in Chapter 4 (when you get flares), get to the corridor that has 3 fans. On the right hand side there will be a red broken car with a door behind it. The page is to the left of the door.Serect room (Aka Unlockables room) -It can be unlocked after completing the mod once, it is the first door on the left when you see the black silhouette walk away in the very beginning of the game. Also, there is a secret room at the beginning of Chapter 6 – “It’s not over yet”. After the train crash, search around the wrecked red car. It looks like a big iron trapdoor, that leads to an old bunker. If you attempt to open the iron trapdoor in co-op, then your character will say that only Simon can open it.And a little serect,There is a weapon in the game that was given to People who helped create maps for Cry of Fear (Correct me if im wrong.)
