Overview
Cursed achievement guide and complete video walkthrough earning all achievements and mini-game puzzle solutions.
Notes.
Cursed has a total of 12 Steam achievements, none of which are missable. All achievements are earned as part of your natural progression through the game and can be earned with a single playthrough taking around 1.5 to 2 hours.
A quick primer, before you get started…
1. There are no difficulty settings and there is just one difficulty for the game.
2. There are no hidden object scenes, despite the fact Cursed looks like, and clearly uses a hidden object game engine.
3. There are hints available in the main game which you are free to use at any time, there are no achievements relating to not using them.
4. While there are no hidden object scenes there are many puzzles on offer, hints / skips are not available for these puzzles and you must complete them to proceed within the game.
5. Most, but not all puzzles have random solutions, my gameplay videos below will show you the mechanics of the puzzles and how to work them out, but they will not always show you the solution as this will differ with most puzzles from one playthrough to the next.
Achievement Guide.
The achievements listed below are in order of which I earned them during my playthrough.
When you complete the winged skull portrait puzzle in the Library, it unlocks a safe revealing a book, when you read this a cut scene ensues and this achievement pops.
In the Swamp an octopus blocks your path with its tentacles, simply shoot it in the face with the harpoon gun and this achievement is yours.
Your path around the right side of the house is blocked by a swarm of bats, simply shoot at them with the flintlock pistol to disperse them, clearing the path and unlocking this achievement.
This achievement pops when you pour the freeze potion into the fountain, effectively killing the creature living in it.
This achievement pops when you obtain the 4th part of the four element amulet, which is located inside the statue at the centre of the fountain.
This achievement pops when you clear the carnivorous plants blocking your path in the pavilion with an axe.
This achievement pops when you obtain the 5th part of the four element amulet, which is located covered in lava at the Skull With Lava.
This achievement pops when you subdue the snake in the Cemetery using a flute.
This achievement pops when you shoot the Goblin hiding in a tree outside the Crypt with a crossbow and collect his blood with the skull goblet.
This achievement pops when you obtain the 7th part of the four element amulet, which is located inside the skull of the skeleton at the Ritual Site.
This achievement pops when you obtain the 9th part of the four element amulet, which is located on a desk in the back room of the House By The Sea.
This achievement pops once you have collected all 11 parts of the four element amulet.
