Overview
Many of the challenges are self explanatory but some require some additional help – especially since some of them are just plain bugged. Which is ok since session is still the best skateboarding game out there, we forgive a little weakness.
Chatham Parking Lot Metal Barriers
Slide or grind & land for it to count.
James Park Planters
“James Madison Park” (Bus station)
Grind or slide these bad boys, they are right next to the bus station.
This challenge is bugged (or intended feature?) so you’ll have to do all without bailing in between. Bailing means getting off your board in any other way than pressing the walk key (Y). You don’t even have to land on your face and or break all your bones, you just need to step off. So avoid boardslides here.
Straight outta the park grind
Again good ole James Park. This ledge counts ~90% of the time.
Waterfall
(I don’t remember the exact wording of the challenge)
Opposite of James Park (James Madison Park), the bus station is just on the right (in the screenshot).
You need to be relatively fast on your flicks to make it. Sessions’ timing on popping while in manual feels a bit delayed but that just increases the challenge a little.
1 Police Plaza Manny Pad
This one is definitely bugged. You need to flip onto the table. Then (don’t do it in a combo) after landing, you need to manual. Release the manual. Flip over the barrier. Manual again. Release. Flip out.
Don’t do it in a combo do each one separate. This is the only way it counts as of the current state of the game.
Also – landing in a grind / weird stall loses all your speed and that attempt won’t count so make sure you are fast enough to clear the height and slow enough to do the tricks in succession.
The same rules apply for the manual challenges on the chatham tower manny pads.
Police Plaza Ledge Session
Look towards the square, when standing in the police courtyard, near the manny pads – that’s where the ledges are.
Police 16 set
(Again I don’t remember the exact wording.)
This one is a bit hidden. You’ll find it when leaving the 1PP courtyard, stepping out on the large open square.
The set is in the screenshot to the right ( where I placed the construction light in the screenshot), under the 3 US flags. 🗽
Small Banks 9
13 Stair
In between the small banks 9 and the big banks 10. Near the run down basketball court.
Big Banks 10 Stair / “10 Stair Rail”
There are 3 sets on / near the banks.
This is the 10 er.

Sometimes registers, sometimes doesn’t.

- Nollie kicklflip down the love gap – Not achieveable at the time.
