Dark Sacrifice Deck to beat Garruk & Worldslayer form

Overview

Here’s the deck I used to beat Garruk and his Worldslayer form after trying many others. This deck requires no Battle Boosters, so you don’t have to do any multiplayer to unlock these cards. You may need to explore campaign nodes to unlock cards first.

The basic idea is you will steal his creatures and use them to attack him on the same turn, then sacrifice them before your turn ends so he doesn’t get them back. 6/6 regenerating worm thingy? Thanks, now I’ll make you eat it. Good night sweet prince.

So you use Act of Treason or Portent of Betrayal to steal, then attack, then any of Fling (best for bonus damage), Devouring Swarm, Corpse Blockade, or Bloodflow Connoisseur to sacrifice. Dead Weight, Flesh to Dust, and Banefire are there for extra insurance in the form of creature removal, works great on those Putrid Leeches that aren’t worth stealing or you you don’t have your steal+sacrifice machine set up yet. Sheoldred is just for kicks, feel free to replace him with something but note he can bring back your killed creatures for free and simultaneously make Garruk sacrifice his own creatures every turn.

Expect to have your table cleared a couple times by Worldslayer, since he uses Putrescence, In Garruk’s Wake, and Bituminous Blast. But that’s why you have multiple copies of your sacrificers and the insurance cards I mentioned. So don’t play them all, you only need one sacrificer on the board and keep one or more in your hand for when he throws a fit. Good luck and have fun!
