Dead Rising 2: How to play TiR Ranked with friends or anyone

Overview

The set up to so you can run into others in Terror Is Reality Ranked matches.

Set Up

This guide is to show the set up and then aid people in Terror is reality games.

First click the Steam in the top left and go to settings.

Then click downloads

Click your region and change it to the one your friends are on or to New York, united States (This is going to be our main Ranked Region hub)

Make sure it says the region you want and click okay.

Go to Ranked Matchmaking.

and there ya go…try it with friends and leave a comment on if it worked for ya,

Terror Is Reality Mini-Games Guide

The description below explains the basics to do at each game and tricks

• Pounds Of Flesh
  
  ———–Charge into the zombies and flip after the hit on the first pile. Charge back to the button slam repeat. Doing this tactic should land you first or close to it. It will also give you a step up from other competitors trying to learn it.

• Master Shafter
  ———–The game of lances. Zombies fall from the sky run to the circles that pulse and click the left mouse. Use the keys WASD to fight against competitors. Each competitor adds to the point if you beat them in the duel. Soloing it nets you 1000, duel against one nets 2000, 3000 if its against 2 and so on. I suggest targeting the weakest player since you only got a few minutes to net this one.

• Bounty Hunter
  ———–This is a bit much, you sniper at teh zombies coming out from under the other players, the zombies with baloons are more points. The jackpot spinner in the center spinning in the air off the pole will put a wall up on other players and net ya a 1000. I always skip the jackpot and line myself up between the two walls. Look where they split aim the gun up and start sniping non stop on zombies. If you are lucky you will have players who are not skilled at the jackpot and be able to net the win.

• Stand Up Zomedy
  ———–Focus on putting 8 of each on the zombies. Do 4 to your left of the dispenser and 4 to the right. Then go to the next closest one and place points on all of the ones that are open. If a player tries to counter yours, then if his is close mess his up. It will net you 2,400 messing with his but you get a lot more getting all 3 on your zombies.

• Zomboni
  
  ———–Go clockwise or counter clock wise and gather zombies in the grinder. When fully fill pull off to the left or right when its open and close to your lap around the ice. It is that simple.

• Ramsterball
  ———–The most evil game on the pc version to date. If your computer has issues with this game like mine be ready for motion sickness. The main objective is to roll over zombies and keep away from others if you are powered. If not hit the player with the power with all ya got and steal it. Roll over zombies and slam into the bumpers to net the points. My suggestion from when I could play it on a ps3 and xbox 360 if the camera works for ya then roll fast up one ramp and jerk your char the opposite way and go around the arena in a circle. One circle and bump dont get greedy others will get ya before you net.

• Ball Buster
  ———–You are shooting a shirt cannon with a ballon pretty much. Aim at the zombies when the doors open and shoot them. If they got a baloon target first then shoot dont rush. You can get rapid fire, or a gun jam on others while netting ya a 1000 points. Keep focusing on baloons and ones close to the corners since baloons show up there more. It takes a bit of practice but you can totally win on this sooner or later.

• Headache
  ———–Place blenders on zombies quickly and dynamite small groups who have other color blenders on them. After you get 5 or more keep watch and if safe keep going. If not then you hit the button to the closest corner near ya. The more blenders the higher point multiplier.

• Slicycles
  ———–Focus on baloon Clusters when they start. The clusters are worth so much in points you can totally come from last to first in the last 30 seconds of slicycles. Use the space bar to quickly break and spin your bike. If having issues dont go the long way and use the short distance and just go for the groups at a faster rate.

You need to beat each of the games in first place once for
the TK’s Favorite Achievement.

Winning one Game gives you Rising Star Achievement

and winning the total end of an ep aka 3 mini games and the slicycles mini game will give you
Win Big Achievement.

Please note before anyone blames capcom or steam or Microsoft, these bugs people speak of have been here since the first release of the game. It would be the game designers who worked on TiR who could fix it and most likely this will never happen. So as many know we adapt and find ways around the bug to play.
