Here is the written, quick version of the video, showing the essentials.

I’ve had quite a few questions about the build that i used for my rank 3 Unholy Cathedral run, but really this can be used for every content in the game so far.

Deflect
The main stat this build is based on is our deflect value. We want to reach the softcap of 70% asap.

The perks and Attributes
The perks I’m using are Feint Mastery, Crisis Management and Burnished Weaponry.

I’ve put one attribute point into Virtue to get the first milestone unlocked, and all the other points have gone into Warfare for more melee damage.

Essential Skillpoints
HIT POINTS: Shock Stimulus, Regenerative Bionics.
DEFENSE: Shield Mastery, Defensive Stance.
CLOSE COMBAT: Riposte, Righteous Fury (almost 100% uptime because of the perk Crisis Management)
PHYSICAL ATTACKS: Impact Necrosis, Concussive Trauma, Incensed Weapons.
MOVEMENT: Overreaction.

Essential gear affixes
The main affix to look out for is: “Succesfully deflecting an enemy attack, recharges 5 suppression resistance.” With the skills and perks added, this means with the string of deflects enough, our suppression bar will not drop and for every regained suppression you will also heal yourself. This gear affix can roll on 3 pieces of gear as I’ve seen so far. There’s a good chance any level 10-ish Crusader can make the basics of this build work, if they put the first 5 points into the HIT POINTS tree.

The second important affix for this build is on the armor: “Deflected attacks have 10% chance to create shockwave dealing physical damage and slowing or stunning enemies.” This is an instant massive AoE. This shockwave basically clears out any non-boss mob in the blink of an eye.

Weapon and Shield
Shield: “10% chance to evade attack and reflect damage back to the attacker”
Weapon set 1: “Each attack has a chance to gain armor piercing equal to deflect value”
Weapon set 2: “Turns your deflect value into an equal percent of damage bonus”

Weapon set 1 can really obliterate any nasty Leman Russ tank, Sentinel or other armored target in your way, taking the weapon set 2 for the rest of the mission.

Inoculator and Deflector Field
So now we have gotten to the last 2 pieces of gear that kinda need each other to work.
Inoculator: “Medium and Elite kills have a 15% chance to drop a supply pack.”

And perhaps the most overlooked item for Crusaders is the Deflector Field.
This isn’t about an affix, but the shield itself. This energy shield reflects damage back to the attacker and stuns or slows them. It also restores 50 suppression per second.
The only bad thing is this has a 94 second cooldown. This is where the 7 points in the movement tree “Overreaction” kicks in, which reduces cooldowns by 5% per deflect. To add to this the extra supply packs from your Inoculator, this means we can stack these shields. The highest I’ve been able to reach so far, has been a 45k shield bar.
