Divinity: Dragon Commander Achievement Guide [COMPLETE]

Overview

So brand new to the game and series but I thought I could try to make a guide, forgive me first time doing this. I will update the guide with new information as I come along it so far this guide is incomplete but if you have an achievement that I couldnt figure out please post a comment and I will update it. Thanks.

Here Be Dragons

Here Be Dragons: Turn into a dragon.
Easy achievement engage an RTS battle and once the timer reaches 0 turn into a dragon. I think the hotkey is R.

Close Air Support

Close Air Support:Kill 10 units with your dragon.
Easy achievement once in dragon form start attacking enemy units until you’ve killed ten of them.

Look Mom, I Won!

Look Mom, I Won!: Win an RTS battle against AI.
So another easy first achievement just win a battle against any difficulty AI.

Zero Casualties

Zero Casualties: Fight a battle and lose none of the units you took with you.
Easiest way to do this is to fight a battle against an enemy with very little troops, simply wipe them out with your dragon form and then march in with the army you brought to clean up.

Do My Dirty Work

Do My Dirty Work: Pay a general to fight for you. And win.
Pretty much an auto resolve, when you get the battle pop up just choose one of your generals not the Imperial Army or your dragon avatar. Each general has his or her unique traits which will influence the percentage to win, simply choose the best one and do battle. Do note their wage before you end up with a negative amount of cash.

Dragon Support

Dragon Support: Kill 100 units with your dragon.
Just like Close Air Support, use your dragon in a RTS battle and destroy enemy units, these add up so you dont have to do it all in one battle.

Just The Beginning

Just The Beginning: Start chapter 2.
Story campaign, hold both capitals and you progress to the next stage.

I Am Dragon, Hear Me Roar

I Am Dragon, Hear Me Roar: Take 5500 damage as a Dragon and live to tell the tale, without despawning.
So after a few battles you’ll notice your dragon form is pretty much anti air fodder, build some shamans and rush the enemy units in dragon form after taking some damage retreat back to the shamans and they’ll heal you. rinse and repeat just don’t die.

I Am The Cure

I Am The Cure: Heal your units as a dragon.
Simple enough, there are several skills to choose from to do this, Purifying Flames, Salvation, Aura of Restoration, Mass Restoration and Pillar of Restoration. Anyone of them will do just activate it in dragon form during battle when your unit is damaged. Activating all of them during battle at least once will also grab the Heal-o-matic 5000 achievement.

Bloodsucker

Bloodsucker: Leech a total of 10000 health as a Dragon with the Blood Leech Dragon skill.
Equip the Blood Leech dragon skill before hand then in battle simply use the dragon and fight, the skill is passive I believe so you wont have to activate it, just keep dealing damage and once it all adds up the achievement will unlock.

You May Kiss The Bride

You May Kiss The Bride: Marry a princess.
At the beginning of the second stage maxos will inform you of princesses coming and you have to pick one of them, after a few turns they will arrive and you choose one and speak to maxos about her, the achievement will unlock after the wedding or speaking to her after the wedding.

Draconarius

Draconarius: Fully upgrade a unit.
In the Engineering part of the Raven just unlock upgrades as you go along and after the first unit is fully upgraded the achievement will unlock.

Cat And Dog

Cat And Dog: Let’s hope they don’t kill each other.
This is a side story event where Edmund and Henry can either kill a whole bunch of lizards worshipping a new god or use diplomacy to bring them back to the accepted faith. Choose the diplomacy route to unlock this achievement. [ Memory is foggy if someone could confirm this is the side story event that’d be awesome but I think its this one.]

All Work And No Play Makes Dragon A Dull Whelp

All Work And No Play Makes Dragon A Dull Whelp: Build a total of 600 units from any production facility during RTS battles (any type of unit).
Hey look an achievement they explained! Anyways simple process just build units during RTS battles and it will unlock at the 600th unit.

To Hell With The Devil

To Hell With The Devil: Meet Corvus.
In the second stage of the story line, maxos will ask to speak with you about the Raven and he will reveal a passage way to Corvus, just step in and it should unlock you don’t have to make any deals with Corvus.

I Came To See RTS

I Came To See RTS: Win an RTS battle without ever spawning your dragon.
Simple enough just never turn into a dragon during an RTS battle, easiest way to do this is probably the first battle in the story to the left of the capital your troopers alone should have no trouble on casual diificulty.

Imperator

Imperator: Research a master unit.
Last tab on the engineering research pick any of the technologies and the achievement will unlock.

Getting The Hang Of It

Getting The Hang Of It: You have won 10 RTS battles.
So if the temptation of spamming mercenary cards and overwhelming units hasn’t overtaken you, you will have some RTS battles under your belt. Once you win your tenth RTS battle the achievement will unlock.

Dragon Knight

Dragon Knight: Research a master dragon skill.
Alright so instead of going to the engineers go to maxos and unlock a dragon skill on the last tab, achievement will unlock afterwards.

Duuuuu-uuude

Duuuuu-uuude: This achievement unlocks when making a certain political decision.
So this is one of the many random issues those politicians will bring up. The elven representative will bring this one to vote, it is an issue over allowing them to use pretty much our equivalent of weed in medicine [If anyone can post the real name of the issue that would be awesome I can’t remember it at the moment]. Vote yes and the Achievement will unlock.
*Save if you ever get this issue, don’t vote yet.
**Vote Both yes and no to grab the Duuuuu-uuude and No Pain No Gain achievements.
***Load back the save once you have both achievements and proceed how you would prefer.

I’m Multifungatorialasomething

I’m Multifungatorialasomething: Command a building to build a unit in RTS while in Dragon mode.
Alright this can get tricky, once you are in the RTS, build a factory and memorize one of the unit’s hotkeys that can be built in the factory then go ahead and turn into a dragon [I think the Hotkey is R] then press the hotkey for one of the factories [I think the Hotkey for the light unit one is Z] and press the next hotkey to spawn any of the availiable units.
*If someone could provide all the hotkeys that would be awesome until then, r/z/t.

Certified Expert Demon Hunter

Certified Expert Demon Hunter: In chapter 3, conquer the enemy’s Capital within 15 turns.
This can be a bit tough so I recommend casual difficulty, so right away start building fast units such as armor so you can rush the enemy capital on the northeast part of the map, the enemy units are much more tougher so expect heavy resistance as they try to hit you from the north and east.
*If you prolonged the second chapter you should have every technology and dragon skill unlocked making this much easier along with an abundant source of gold.
**if you have mercenary cards saved up use them now as you rush for the capital.

Hop To It!

Hop To It!: Lives are at stake here!
So I love this one, this is a side story event that will be brought up by the elven representative for general Edmund to investigate a series of undead zealots killing elves at harrowridge [I’m not quite sure the name..pretty sure its got harrow in it] and you have two choices, to simply let him handle it his way or to Hop To It! Which will provoke a funny response, anyways choose the hop to it option and you will unlock the achievement along with support from the undead and elven population [I think, might just be elven].
*If you prefer for Edmund to do this his own way, save before making a choice then choose the hop to it option for the achievement, reload the save and proceed how you see fit.

Extra Crispy

Extra Crispy: Kill 500 units with your dragon.
Just like Close Air Support and Dragon Support achievement, during an RTS battle use the dragon to kill enemy units and once it all adds up to 500 the acheivement will unlock.

Suffragette City

Suffragette City: She’s alright.
Side story event where Catherine [after you either allowed or did not allow equal wages for the genders] wants you to pass the right to vote for the undead women. Agreeing with her will unlock the trophy.
*If you do not want to, save before choosing a choice and go along with her unlocking the achievement then reload the save and go with your preferred option.

Natural Born General

Natural Born General: Destroy 150 enemy units on the Strategy Map with auto-resolves.
Auto resolving means choosing any general or the Imperial army but not yourself to do battle, each enemy unit you destroy will add up until you reach 150 and then the achievement will unlock.

Kings Are Born, Not Made

Kings Are Born, Not Made: This achievement unlocks when making a certain political decision.
So another political decision that will or will not randomly appear during your game, this event is brought up by Prospera called a referrendum for a republic. Simply vote no for it and the achievement will unlock.
Requires 85% or more Lizard approval.
*Save if you get this event and do not make a choice yet.
**Choose yes to unlock the Elephant In The Room achievement.
***After unlocking both achievements reload and proceed how you would normally choose.

The Finale

The Finale: Start chapter 3.
Simply hold all four capitals in the second stage and it will progress to the next stage.
*Take your time the gold and research limit isn’t capped so build your resources and cards for the next stage. Also complete all your availiable research and dragon skills.

All That Glisters

All That Glisters: Build a Gold Mine on a country with an income of more than 5 gold.
Hovering over any country wil display the gold revenue and research contribution, I think the first 5 gold income country will be in the second stage so once you have control of it [I don’t know the name sorry if someone could provide it that would be awesome], build a gold mine and the achievement will unlock.

Indecisive

Indecisive.
Make 5 moves on the map and undo them all and the acheivement will unlock.

Requiescat In Pace

Requiescat In Pace: This achievement unlocks when making a certain political decision.
Another political decision event, the imp representative will say the imps have found something under an elven burial ground and request permission from you to dig. Choose no and the achievement unlocks.
Requires 85% or more Impish approval.
*Save before making a choice.
**Pick both options to get Requiescat in Pace and For Science!
***Reload the save and choose the option you normally would.

Sabotage!

Sabotage!:Play a Sabotage Movement Card on the Strategy Map that effectively blocks an enemy unit from moving.
These are cards played on the strategy map and the most common sabotage movement card you’ll probably get is either a trooper or hunter one, activate them on a country with the specified unit on the card that is on the frontline or has heavy enemy movement and you should unlock the achievement.

Demolition

Demolition: Destroy an enemy building on the strategy map.
This is a card used on the strategy map, activate it over the type of building factory/tavern/etc on an enemy country and the achievement will unlock.

Kaboom!

Kaboom!: Destroy 15 enemy units with a single Eye of the Patriarch.
Eye ov the Patriarch is a dragon skill, unlock it from maxos and equip it on your dragon and go into an RTS battle, activate it and use it on a cluster of enemies and if there were at least 15 of them the achievement will unlock.
*Weaken the enemy units first before firing the skill.

Hole In One

Hole In One: Kill 10 troopers with one Devastator shot.
Probably easier done on a skirmish map than in the campaign since you need at least 4 trooper units on the strategic map to start a battle that has at least 10 in it, troopers are easy to kill with devastators but incase try upgrading your devastator via factory if skirmish or engineers on raven if campaign.

No Pain No Gain

No Pain No Gain: This achievement unlocks when making a certain political decision.
So this is one of the many random issues those politicians will bring up. The elven representative will bring this one to vote, it is an issue over allowing them to use pretty much our equivalent of weed in medicine [If anyone can post the real name of the issue that would be awesome I can’t remember it at the moment]. Vote no and the Achievement will unlock.
*Save if you ever get this issue, don’t vote yet.
**Vote Both yes and no to grab the Duuuuu-uuude and No Pain No Gain achievements.
***Load back the save once you have both achievements and proceed how you would prefer.

It’s Magic!

It’s Magic!: Transform an enemy into a ladybug.
This achievement requires the Warlock unit and meet the beetles upgrade from the engineers on the raven. Once you have both go into an RTS and activate the ability on an enemy unit.

What Is Yours, Now Is Mine

What Is Yours, Now Is Mine: In RTS battle, capture an enemy factory with troopers.
This achievement requires a trooper unit and the spoils of war upgrade from the raven allowing them to capture buildings.
CREDIT TO Skorge X for the upgrade’s name.

Emperor Of Rivellon

Emperor Of Rivellon: Finish the game.
Hold both capitals in the last stage of the game [chapter three] and you should get the achievement after the cutscene.

Heads Will Roll

Heads Will Roll: The hunted not the hunter.
This is part two of a side story event with general scarlett. She will apporach you about an elven lord that is killing innocent people. [The elven representative is willing to bribe to you to not take action] If you take action it will lead to the imprisionment of the elven lord and start part two of the side story event where scarlett asks your permission to execute the elven lord personally. Agree and the achievement unlocks.

Enophile

Enophile: Share a glass of wine with your queen.
This is unique quest from the queen and requires you to have picked the elf princess. This is a follow up of another unique quest from the queen. You will need to choose the option that she will attend the dinner in her honor and afterwards she will talk of wine, choose the option to bring her the finest wine and the achievement will unlock.

Elephant In The Room

Elephant In The Room: This achievement unlocks when making a certain political decision.
So another political decision that will or will not randomly appear during your game, this event is brought up by the lizard representative called a referrendum for a republic [or something like that I don’t have the best memory but if you know the name please help me out and tell me]. Simply vote yes for it and the achievement will unlock.
Requires 85% or more Lizard approval.
*Save if you get this event and do not make a choice yet.
**Choose no to unlock the Kings are born not made achievement.
***After unlocking both achievements reload and proceed how you would normally choose.

Just Said No

Just Said No: Didn’t you hear? The best man for the job is a woman.
This is a two part side story event from general Catherine. The first part of it will be triggered by soldiers of the Imperial Army pillaging and raping in which you have to let her take action and execute soldiers [This will cause a -10% drop in all units deployed on the strategy map]. Afterwards she will trigger the event needed for the achievement, replacing male officers with female officers. Deny her the female officers and the achievement will unlock.
*If you prefer save before choosing an option, this isn’t required as there are no other achievements tied in with the options I believe.

Kill ‘Em All

Kill ‘Em All: Kill 1000 units with your dragon.

Have Your Cake And Eat It Too

Have Your Cake And Eat It Too: In an RTS battle, Charm an enemy Juggernaut that holds an Imp Bunker Buster and fire it.
Alright so this one is really conditional, you’ll need the enemy to have the technology that gives their Juggernauts the Imp Bunker Buster then you need them to already construct it on that Juggernaut. Next make sure you have the dragon skill Charm equipped as you will have to use it on the Juggernaut with the Imp Bunker Buster. Lastly fire it, like at the enemy or something.
