Doki Doki: This bond we share

Overview

Hello everyone, today I’d like to review the demo version of one interesting mod.

What is the mod about?

” A story of two crazed lovers and the fate that binds them. In this story you will be seeing through the eyes of Yuri and a Yandere MC trying to keep his mind in check. Will they find each other? Will fate find a way? “

Review (No spoilers)

As it was already written in the description of the mod, here is a story about two lovers. It should be noted right away that the mod is told from the perspective of the MC and Yuri, which is not often seen in DDLC mods. That is, for 10-20 minutes, the story comes from the perspective of the protagonist, and then the same moment is told, but from the perspective of Yuri. There was also a moment in the demo where the story was told by Natsuki.

First, we are told a little background story of the MC, which allows us to better understand his character and why he loves Yuri so much. About MC’s character. It differs significantly from the character in other mods. If in the original he was an “ordinary Japanese schoolboy”, then in this mod he is able to show his emotions. As Natsuki said, “MC is a typical dandere”. MC’s character is indeed similar to Yuri’s. He also shows his emotions with restraint, although in some moments he is able to fend for himself, unlike Yuri.

This mod also has its own sprites that look really nice.

Unfortunately, there are not many options in the demo. We can say that the demo version of this mod is linear. Also, we will not be fully shown to yandere MC’s identity, except some points. About Yuri. She is still the same modest girl who wants to protect. In general, I hope that the author will continue to develop this mod as well and will not leave it for the demo version.

P.s

I don’t know English well, so I had to use Google Translate. Why did I decide to write a review in English? Simply because the Russian community is not as large and active as the English one.
