Dps/ Tank Tips
Best Jobs
To start off lets talk about the Jobs
Blacksmith perks
alchemist perks
- For a Dps or Tank character the job system is going to be a big part of gameplay. That being said the best possible job for one to choose when planning on making a Dps or Tank would be a "blacksmith" or "alchemist".
Blacksmith perks
- If you choose to pick a Blacksmith you will always have the best armor and weapons possible.(taking it that you actully use your job) But not only will being a blacksmith give you great armor and weapons but it will also allow you to create weapons for fellow party or guild memebers. The only downside to the blacksmith is the amount of time required to mine for crafting resources.
alchemist perks
- If you choose to pick a alchemist you will always have Plenty of Potions such as Health(hp), magica(sp) and stat potions. These potions will be one of you best friends during battle since your going to be that guy that sits in the front lines. One big advantages of alchemy is that crafting ingredients are plentiful. The only problem with Alchemy as a job is the price required for potion bottles.
Use of bonus points
Now that we have covered the perks of a job lets talk a little bit about stats
Stats
Stats
- For those of you who do not know what Bonus points are the bonus points are the points awarded to you when leveling up. They can be found in the character information, bonus stats distribution
- If you plan to be the strongest player in the party your going to need to know what stats to and not to use. In the stat tree there is 5 to pick from. They are strength, agility, intelligence, wisdom and vitality.
- strength as you probably figured out is to improve the attacking power of of weapons this skill is useful for The Dps and Tank character. I would recommend investing about a 3/10 percent of your points in this.
- agility is used to improve the block, parry and dodge skill this is a good one to invest in but with very little points.(2/10)
- intelligence this skill is used to inprove your sp or magica and as a swordsman you will no be using this skill
- wisdom is used to improve the critical chance and damage i would recommend investing 2/10 of your points in this skill
- vitality is used to improve your healt points or Hp. If you want to last in battle your going to need to invest 3/10 of your points here

Part 1
- If you plan to make a Dps character you are going to want to choose skills with the highest damage output. The following list is a reference and can be changed as you like.
To start of lets put our basic first skills together. "bash, Head crush and Aura strike in one group, these 3 skills work quite well because of the fast and powerful use they have"
For Our second Group lets place "Aura Armor, Aura Blade, Rage control, Battle Order and Provoke" in another group these skill will increase damage output and defence rating along with allowing single one on one combat.
The Final group can be set up to your liking as it changes for your game style
Character Skill Points part 2

The Tank character is going to be the guy who just taking damage non-stop without even breaking a sweat so for my guide i will give the best skills to use.

For the second we will be using "provoke, mass provoke, Aura heal, Shield charge, Aura shield and Shield fortress"
Finally the last group we should be using "Magnum break, shield boomerang and boomerang mastery, shield cannon and ymir child: paladin"
