Overview
Dragon Balls. What is their role in this game, and where can you get them? Find out here.
What are Dragon Balls?
Dragon Balls can be obtained from Time Patrollers throughout various Parallel Quests. Dragon Balls can grant you one of many wishes and can be reobtained at any time to choose a wish. Time Patrollers appear after you clear a room of the enemies. Upon talking to them, you must fight them and deliver the killing blow. They will drop 2 items. The second item has a chance to be a “Key Item” which is always a Dragon Ball.

Farming Dragon Balls
When farming in parallel quests, the Time Patroller most commonly spawns in the first map after the room is cleared of enemies. Using “retry” from the menu will reset the PQ. If no Time Patroller spawns or you do not get a Key Item (Dragon Ball), retry the map.
PQ 12 is really great, because the first room has no combat and the Time Patroller spawns in front of you at the start of the match, in a square paved area. Upon creating the game, simply start the mission and boost forward. He will be revealed almost instantly. If not retry. Beating the mission with 10 minutes still on the clock will require you to fight Frieza. Waiting until after the clock passes 10 minutes may be faster depending on your skill.
PQ 02 is also a common place to farm, due to the low level enemies. If you have leveled to a point where you can kill everyone in one or two shots, this mission is the way to go. Just kill the first group, then the Time Patroller may spawn in front of the house.
Drop Rates
Currently speculation. Nothing is clear yet.
The most accepted solution is, when a Time Patroller is killed, a random number is chosen, 1 through 7. You are awarded 1 Material Item and the Dragon Ball of the randomly chosen number. If you have said Dragon Ball, you are instead awarded a second Material Item
