Overview
A guide to help players know the name of each map, and to help them determine what to equip with each class.
Data
All Infantrymen have 20 Strength and 20 Agility, the rest have 16 Strength and 16 Agility. This means Infantrymen have (aside from their skill points) additional hit points, additional damage, additional attack speed, and additional movement speed.
Information
Infantryman
A Double-Barreled Dutch Pistol and at least one grenade, last weapon slot may be for a second grenade or for a shield. Stay away from harm. Heavier armour is recommended.
Rifleman
A one-handed weapon or a spear, and a Double-Barreled Dutch pistol, grenade or shield to complement it. Along with the Tatar Infantryman, the best runner, albeit less specialized than its Crimean counterpart. Recommended sets include:
- a one-handed weapon, a shield and a Double Dutch
- a one-handed weapon, a shield and two grenades
- a spear and three grenades
You could replace the spear with a lance in the sets with spear and shield to be able to use the lance and the shield simultaneously at the expense of attack speed.
Rider
A Double-Barreled Dutch Pistol and a shield, perhaps a lance or sword if you are prudent. Good at riding, but very bad at running. Stay away from harm.
Tatar Infantryman
A one-handed weapon, a shield, and a bow. The most versatile class as you can engage in melee or long-range combat, and along with the Cossack Rifleman, the best at running.
Mounted Archer
A bow, and perhaps a light one-handed weapon such as a Yetaghan. The best at long-range combat, but very bad at running. Stay away from harm. The most fragile class.
Lancer
A one-handed weapon, a shield, and a spear or lance (spear on foot, lance on horse). The best at riding, but very bad at running.
Musketeer
A Double-Barreled Dutch Pistol, and perhaps a grenade or two. Bad at running. Stay away from melee. Fastest musket reloader.
Infantryman
A two-handed weapon or a spear. Avoid using firearms. Grenades are good for stunning.
Cavalryman
A spear or lance (spear on foot, lance on horse). Very bad at running.
Marksman
A Double-Barreled Dutch Pistol, a two-handed weapon, and a grenade. Both the best melee marksman and the most mobile marksman.
Infantryman
A one-handed weapon with a shield, or a two-handed weapon, preferably the latter. Avoid using bows or firearms. Grenades are good for stunning.
Cavalryman
A one-handed weapon and a shield. If you want to use a bow, do not spawn one, instead pick up a decent one from a dead enemy (e.g. Veteran Circassian). Very bad at running.
Musketeer
A Double-Barreled Dutch Pistol and two grenades. Stay away from melee.
Infantryman
Any melee weapon will do. The most melee-versatile. Avoid using bows or firearms. Grenades are good for stunning.
Cavalryman
A spear or lance (spear on foot, lance on horse). Good at riding, but very bad at running.
