Easiest Reincarnation (RANK 50) Achievement Using Artmoney

Overview

To get to rank 50 in multiplayer you need to gather 163’000 ADAM. This makes getting “Reincarnation” Achievement almost the most annoying thing in the whole game. But thanks to an awesome tool known as Artmoney you can easily get to level 50 without tedious grinding.

1. Easiest Rank 50

To get to rank 50 in multiplayer you need to gather 163’000 ADAM. This makes getting “Reincarnation” Achievement almost the most annoying thing in the whole game. But thanks to an awesome tool known as Artmoney you can easily get to rank 50 without tedious grinding.

Ok, let’s start

1) First you need to find this program and install it. What does it do? ARTMONEY is a memory editor that allows you to change values in games to give you more money, XP, ammo, health etc.

2) Now you need to start it and start the multiplayer component of Bioshock 2 simultaneously. I recommend to run game in the windowed mode so you can easily switch between game window and Artmoney window without risk of game crashing (it’s damn unstable!).

3) Now the process of editing values. Before starting it I recommend you to play a couple of games to get your “Total ADAM” value as high as possible – to rank 5 minimum.

You can still get XP from Private Matches so you might want to set game to private, gamemode to ADAM Grab and map to “Home for The Poor” (because little sister is the closest to your spawn)

Before starting a new match look at your “Total ADAM” (Statistics -> Personal statistics) number and switch to Artmoney window.

At the Artmoney window you need to select process “Bioshock 2” and press search button:

The window “Search ( Step 1 )” will appear – make sure everything is exactly as on the picture and “Value” is the same as “Total ADAM” you have in-game. Now press a button with […] on it.

“Select type” window should appear – make sure everything is unchecked but “Integer 4 bytes” and press OK.

Press ok in “Search ( Step 1 )” and search will start. It’ll probably going to find too many values with that number in it so we have to filter them.

To do so we need to change “Total ADAM” value by playing a match. Usually it’s easy to find one.

After the match is over and you’ve returned in the lobby just go to “Statistics -> Personal statistics” in the main lobby and look at how your “Total ADAM” have changed.

4) This is when you must filter our massive number of memory values to find exactly what we need. To do so press a “Filter” button in the main window of Artmoney and the “Filter ( Step 2 )” window will appear.

Enter the new amount of total ADAM that you currently have (in my case it’s 4545 but your value is gonna be different) and press ok.

If you have 2 adresses it should be perfect. If you have more than 2 adresses than you need to play another match and repeat filtering process.

Press “Add all” button and memory addresses will appear on the right where you can edit them.
Click left mouse button on the right side of the program window and press “Ctrl+A” and “Alt+E” (“Select all” and “Edit selected” commands).

Now change these values to 162950 and press OK:

That’s it, now you just need to play one more match and rank 50 will apply to your profile.

Now you can get your “Reincarnation” Achievement and be done with multiplayer that is not as great as a single player campaign (in my subjective opinion).

Or if you like MP you can repeat this procedure again and play with all the unlocks, so high level nerds don’t have the unfair advantage of being higher rank then you.

This makes game fair – with everyone having all the unlocks it is SKILL that matters and not who have fancier equipment!!!

P.S. Thanks to user [PGCA] XxStormPkX [SSAnonymous] for pointing out in his guide that you can get XP from private matches in steam version of Bioshock 2 (unlike in GFWL version).

Still his way of getting to rank 50 requires you to play aproximately 200 private ADAM Grabs, which is much longer (my way requires playing 2-3 matches maximum, feel the difference)

2. Other Multiplayer Achievements

Here is the list of other multiplayer achievements from Bioshock 2:

1) Welcome to Rapture
Complete your first non-private match.

Self-explanatory

2) Unnatural Selection
Score your first kill in a non-private match.

Just kill another player – pretty self-explanatory

3) Disgusting Frankenstein
Become a Big Daddy for the first time in a non-private match.

You need to find a Big Daddy suit that spawns randomly at most stages and approach it, press “F”.

4) “Mr. Bubbles – No!”
Take down your first Big Daddy in a non-private match.

Kill other player who is in a Big Daddy Suit.

5) Mother Goose
Save your first Little Sister in a non-private match.

While playing “Capture the Sister” on the attackers side you need to capture Little Sister and carry her all the way to the escape hole and put her in it. Combination of Aero Dash + EVE Saver + Metabolic EVE should help you do this quite easily.

6) Two-Bit Heroics
Complete your first trial in a non-private match.

Trials are challenges that can be tracked in your “Statistics -> Trials” page.

7) All the Rank specific achievements can be obtained as a part of getting Reincarnation achievement as I described at the beginning of this guide – my method is the fastest possible and you should automaticly get all of them in one quick session.

Parasite
Achieve Rank 10.

Little Moth
Achieve Rank 20.

Skin Job
Achieve Rank 30.

Choose the Impossible
Achieve Rank 40.

Some people have reported having problems with getting rank-specific achievements in private games. If you somehow got “Reincarnation” achievement without getting all rank-specific achievements you can simply go to:

C:Users[YOUR USER NAME]AppDataRoamingBioshock2Steam

folder and delete file that ends on “.profile” (this is gonna reset your MP progress) and try again, but this time – join only public games, NOT PRIVATE.

8) Man About Town
Play at least one non-private match on each multiplayer map.

Complete one match on every one of the following MP levels:

  • Home for the Poor
  • Kashmir Restaurant
  • Medical Pavilion
  • Mercury Suites
  • Neptune’s Bounty
  • Point Prometheus
  • Arcadia
  • Farmer’s Market
  • Fort Frolic
  • Hephaestus

9) Aqua Incognita / Territorial
Play / Win at least one non-private match on each downloadable content map.

Complete / Win one match on every one of the following MP levels:

  • Pauper’s Drop
  • Siren Alley
  • Smuggler’s Hideout
  • Dionysus Park
  • Fighting McDonagh’s
  • Fontaine Fisheries
