Overview
A quick little tip I found for those who struggle with positioning the camera.
The Guide Part
For those who are new-ish to blender or those who rotate their cameras manually.
1) Start up a new file
2) Get rid of the cube and create a plain axis
3) Select the camera, then holding shift select the axis
4) Press Ctrl + T and Track to constraint
5) Tadaa, your camera will now follow the axis
6) optionally you can set this to be default for the startup save file (it’s what I did)
I use this setup all the time and its great for animating flybys and smooth motion n stuff
(You could probably do the same thing for a sun or area lamp now that I think of it.)
