[Easy] How to upload a Screenshot for any Game

Overview

The easiest way to upload your screenshots to Steam games without going through any “copy to steam” or “rename screenshots”

Easy Method for uploading Screenshots to Steam

First download “Steascree” from [link] ( Github [github.com] which i didnt make but ive been using for about 4 years now.

First open Steascree.
If your steam isnt on C change the location

So now get your Games ID
For example go to Steam – look for your Game and take the Numbers before the Title
I took Sharex for demonstration purposes but as “Game” i used Steam.

Note: Steam has the ID 753
Greenlight has the ID 765

Simply Drag and Drop your Screenshots into the area and click on “Copy screenshots to game directory”

After that u can switch the game and repeat. (change Game ID – Drop and Drop – change Game….)

When you are done EXIT STEAM
(Doenst have to be via the taskbar u can exit within Steam by clicking on the top left corner “Steam” then on the bottom where it says “Exit” however u want to exit.

Almost done. Just Click “Prepare schreenshots for uploading…”

And u get a notification if u forgot to exit Steam

And done. Open Steam and your screenshots are now in the screenshots window

Errors: When you get an error when u want to upload a screenshot like: “there was an error uploading 1 screenhot. Steam Cloud may be temporarily unavailable”
It is because u forgot to exit steam which isnt an issue.
Just delete the screenshots on the steam screenshots window (if u still have them somewhere) and repeat the process.
If u deleted the screenshot click on ” Show on Disk” copy them to desktop or somewhere and then delete them on the steam screenshots window and repeat the process.

Ending words: I have seen so many “guides” on how to copy files and renaming them just to upload the sreenshots and always thought if people do these weird and long methods. Now after some years and questions how to upload them i made this guide.

I hope i could help you – sry for bad english if there are any questions let me know
and ofc Thank you for reading
