Hello Ghost Hunters,

This guide will show you an easy method to win the game.
This is especially helpful in the single-player mode where being caught by the girl is an
insta-death.

Guide Content:

• Safe placement for ”EVIL” dolls
  Those dolls can be placed/glitched into a item, located in the boiler room. this prevents the dolls from running away.

• Duplication of ”GOOD” dolls (Only works in co-op mode)
  The ”good” dolls can be duplicated. Useful if you can not find enough good dolls in a session, want to be on the safe side or just have some fun with duplicating them :^) -> a video might follow in near future

Safe placement for ”EVIL” dolls

There is a total of 9 evil dolls to find. Find them all and burn them in order to catch the evil girl.
There is a method/glitch were you can trap those dolls right next to the oven.
This gives you a huge advantage, since the “rage-level” of the evil girl depends on how many dolls you burned already.

By collecting all dolls before burning them, the chance that you get caught will be much much lower.

The safe place for the evil dolls is in the basement, boiler room, left side of the oven.
There is a wooden pallet there.

When standing on top of the wooden pallet aim in the middle between the metal barrel and yourself.

Line up your reticle/the middle of your screen with the tip of the arrow

-> The dolls get trapped here and will not run away, giving you enough space to find them all, since the girl is much slower before you start burning dolls.
Just make sure that you have plenty of wood before beginning to burn them, or at least be aware where more is (there is plenty of of wood in the basement)

Duplication of ”GOOD” dolls

You are able to duplicate the ”GOOD” dolls. this can be complicated and time consuming. Try to drop the doll into a prop/object on the floor. A trash can, a broom, whatever. Then try to pick it up again.

At some point you should be able to pick up the doll and it will leave the original one on the ground. Then you can keep duplicating the doll. It doesn’t always work. It only seems to work in a Co-op/versus game & it works for all players except the host.

Walkthrough for single-player run

This is a walkthrough for beating the game in under 20 minutes, using the ‘safe placement’ method. Place all dolls in the basement first before burning them one by one. This will help a lot with getting the “Beat the game developer Achievement”.

Useful tips:

• At the start of the game the girl is slow and quite harmless, you can largely ignore her while you search for keys until she ‘screams’ for the first time and starts to fly around, even then you can still outrun her easily
• There are 5 keys of which you only need 4 to complete the game.
• The order is hall, bedroom, attic, basement and main door key.
• The first two are on the ground floor, the attic key is always on the first floor, the basement key is always in the attic room. The main door key is in a small room in the basement but can be ignored.
• When using the ‘safe placement’ in the boiler room for the evil dolls, collect all 9 dolls first before you start burning them.
• You will need at least 4 wood to burn all dolls, make sure you know where wood is located in the basement. Because as you burn more dolls, the girl increases in speed and aggression. You will have to run out and grab more wood.
