My Summer Car Guide

Economics and Logistics for My Summer Car

Economics and Logistics

Overview

Starting out in My Summer Car can be rugged you got limited reasources, and until you get jobs you got to utilize what you got. this guide will give you an idea how to get a jump into the game to where your not always broke, gas less, or starving while beginning.

The first day or first steps

Go to the catalog order the air/fuel mixture gauge
Next round up both the fuel canisters, sausage, beer, and of coarse the envelope from the catalog and toss em in the back of the van like this
Now where going to take a little trip to the main town cause we will need some things.

The town

By this time you made it town without rolling the van like I did when started driving the game. So heres a little list of items you will need to get the car running and as well some suggestions

1 Fan belt 295
4 Brake and clutch fluid 140
Motor oil 149
Coolant 195

779 will get you the things you need
500 – 1000 for the fuel

Food – I recommend sausage, milk, and of coarse the beer. so grab as much of that as you can and eat when you get into the red same with thirst or chug a beer so often.

Jobs and Income

ok there are possibly 5 job in all in this game they are sewage removal, firewood delivery, designated driver/taxi guy for drunks, the mechanic’s payback, and junk car hunt

Sewage Removal – 5 customers in all each pay 1200mk a job = 6000 mk when all done once a week they will possibly need this service

Firewood – 1 customer 3200mk once a week they will need

Drunkguy taxi service – 1 guy middle of night will call for ride give you 500-675mk when dropped off
not sure how often he calls

Fleetari’s Revenge job – dumping sewage on inspection building 10 bottles of booze(not income but nice to have)

Junk Car Hunt 2000-4500 3 in all

some of these jobs are reliable and some not more like extra boost in funds for your summer car

but with reliable jobs each week should bring you about 9000 – 10000 per game week possible wicked stash of finish boose incase you want get pickled up a night or so.

Going to Work

Ok the jobs are starting to come in via telephone and if you everything goes ok with the first step you should have plenty of food and beer to keep you up until these jobs come in well first thing are the wood and sewage jobs…..knock out the wood job when ever you can you wont get another wood job until next week and its 3200mk to go into your funding, but the sewage job let all 5 come up cause i will explain this tactic doing one or two is fine but i often get confused with em cause theres two in each town and one on the outside after the wood guy, but i found it easier and less gas consumption to do all 5 in one run and fuel up and go home than hitting one here and another. and the places are the same just the order to which they come in but heres a map of each point of interest of the regional map Courtesy of [link]

Perfect timing

For me timing is everything in this game so here are some tips dealing with the ingame time.
The time of the game is 12 times faster than real life. A whole in-game day is two hours of real life. You can also advance two hours in-game by saving your game.

The sun sets at 10:30 pm and one tick is every five seconds.

The game has some clocks that the player can use to check the time:

Inside your home in the kitchen there’s a clock with the shape of the area of Finland mounted on the wall.
You can install the clock gauge, located on your shelf in your garage, instead of the RPM gauge on the Satsuma.
Gifu truck has a combined clock inside with the speedometer.

Hours of Operation for key places

Fleetari Repair Shop is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday
Teimo’s Shop is open from 8 am to 8 pm everyday.
Pub Nappo is open from 8 pm to 2 am everyday.
The inspection office is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
The rally event is on from 10 am to 6 pm every Saturday.

them clocks are your friend….save time and money
on another not order the tachometer so you can ditch the RPM gauge and install the clock inplace

Fleetari’s Shop

The Mechanic Fleetari offer these services sometimes at 50% discount which save tones of money for work that may need to be done but heres a list of services at the full price but divide it half to find out what you pay in discount.
