Full Mojo Rampage Guide

Emoc's List of Parent Loas for Full Mojo Rampage

Emoc’s List of Parent Loas

Overview

Hey guys! Emoc here. I’ve been trying to be very active in playing this game (unable to do so due to schedule conflicts), and I’ve been trying my best in getting others to try this game and provide feedback. Today I want to talk about Parent Loas, the class system for full mojo rampage. Now, a lot of my friends that I have recently talked to are curious about who and what the Parent Loas are before buying the game and/or buying certain loas, due to the fact you can’t view the parent loa’s skills before you buy them. This guide will explain each Loa’s skills, and my thoughts on them. Also, there are no spoilers involving the story. Enjoy!

Before you read…

Hey! Thanks for checking out my guide. Before you read this, I am seeking help to improve on this guide. So if there are any points you don’t agree with, or you would like me to add something, please comment or shoot me a message. I want this guide to expand into something better, and I also appreciate as much feedback as possible.

Here is a list of things I am planning on imputing into the guide, but I need some help doing so:

1. Tier List

2. Video of each Loa and their skills.

3. Pictures of each Parent Loa and their skills so I can prevent boring you guys and to let you know how they look like.

4. Guides for each individual Loa (seprate from this post.)

So please, help me out. Anyone who does so will be added to the contributers thing below. Enjoy this guide!

Baron Samedi

A little bit about him:
Your starting Parent Loa. He is the Loa of Death and lord of resurrection. He is also noted to be a real badass. Also experienced matters of love with Maman Brigitte, another Parent Loa.

SKILLS

Passive: Samedi’s Joy
Killing things increases your Rampage. If you fill your bar completely, you make Baron Samdei appear and he starts killing things with you for a limited amount of time.

Spacebar: Dodge
DO A BARREL ROLL.
jk
You basically roll in the direction you are currently moving. This has an average cooldown and one of the few mobility spells in the game. Use it wisely, for it is probably one of the most useful spells in the game too.

Right Click: Voodoo Bomb
You throw a bomb and you do AoE (area of effect) damage. Also causes knockback to enemies in the AoE.

Difficulty: 3/10 regardless if solo or in party.
One of the easiest Loas to play. His skills allow you to escape sticky situations, control the amount and position of enemies, and grants you a partner that kicks ass with you thanks to your passive. Just don’t dodge into your enemies. <3

Loko

A little bit about him:
Loko is the Loa of healing and vegetation. He’s kinda like your generic superhero too. Hates injustice… loves the ladies… I like the way he thinks.

SKILLS:

Passive: Loko’s Touch
ONE OF THE LONGEST DESCRIPTIONS OF A PASSIVE IN THE GAME. >.<
Reduces your health, damage, and healing directed towards you. But causes your attacks to curse your enemies, causing anyone who attacks the cursed enemies to also heal for a certain amount. Finally, you gain rampage being in combat while not taking damage. More rampage = More loot. Max rampage causes better health orbs to be dropped.

Space: Frenzy
You bless the ground under you, which increases the attack rate and reduces damage taken of all the allies who are in it. Has a significantly large cooldown, however.

Right Click: Voodoo Prayer
Voodoo Bomb 2.0, with harder aiming mechanics, but also heals your allies if you hit them with this skills. Drawback? Long Cooldown, so you won’t be spamming this as much as Voodoo Bomb.

Difficulty: 9.5/10 if solo, 6/10 with party
This guy is hard to solo with. Long cooldowns, Decreased Health and Damage, and you heal yourself for less, this guy screams support. He is a great addition to any party because of his buffs, and if your buddies are playing high damage dealers or tanks, they will love you forever. You might even get ladies if you save them from tight situations ;D

Ghede

A little bit about him:
View this Loa as the dude who likes to mess with others for enjoyment. He is the master of mind control, and is always ready to enhance the capabilities of his loyal servants (totems) whenever needed.

SKILLS:

Passive: Ghede’s Scream
Currently has no passive, due to this game being in alpha or all. Expect an update on this soon.

Spacebar: Totem: Guardian
You place a totem that shoots at other enemies. Not that long of a cooldown, and from what I believe you can only have up to of these at once. Pewpewpew.

Right Click: Totem: Protect
You put down 2 totems, which generates a beam of lightning between them that slow enemies that go past it. Has a short cooldown. Careful, however, it has really wonky mechanics IMO, and placing more of these skills will create a monstrosity OR a field of awesomeness.

Difficulty: 5/10 regardless if solo or in a party.
One of my favorite Loas. His ability to create totems is really cool, and helps him have a easier time killing things. But positioning is key. Make sure you put your totems at spots where they wont get screwed, place your slows carefully, and have fun with this dude. His difficulty will go up or down depending on his passive, however.

Erzulie

A little bit about her:
The beautiful goddess of love and desire. But love and death are always related. After her husband died in a horrible accident, it caused her to go insane, increasing her power.

SKILLS:
Passive: Erzulie’s Wrath
More rampage = More tears. Nuff said.

Space: Tear of Erzulie
You shoot out tears that bounce and do damage. Like, a lot of damage. More rampage gets you more tears thanks to passive, and this skill has a short cooldown. A great skill IMO.

Right Click: Anger
Increases your movement speed for a short amount of time. Okay cooldown.
GOTTA GO FAST

Difficulty: 3/10 regardless if in party or not.
Very easy to play, due to her skills just being extremely powerful in a game like this. I strongly recommend getting her if you want to beat the game. Tears for days.

Ogoun

A little bit about him:
HE IS THE LOA OF WAR AND FIRE! HE IS THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER. HE WILL DEFEND YOU TILL THE END CAUSE HE’S A FAITHFUL WARRIOR. ALSO FAMOUS (like Loko) FOR LOVING WOMEN. HAS A MACHETE, DRINKS RUM, SMOKES TOBACCO, AND CURSES A LOT. CAPS GIVE EFFECT ON HOW BADASS THIS GUY IS.

Skills:
Passive: Wrath of Ogoun
Each time you kill an enemy, you get health based on a percentage of your maximum health. Goes well with his skills due to them costing a percentage of your health.

Space: Sacrifice
ONE OF US
jk
You lose 5% of your current hp to deal damage to nearby enemies. Low cooldown. Great skill.

Right Click: Blood Thirst
You lose 15% of your current HP to increase your damage by 1% for every nearby enemy. Long cooldown. I don’t find myself using this a lot unless i’m getting swarmed by monsters D:

Difficulty: 6/10 regardless.
Ogoun has potential, but is outclassed if you play him incorrectly. His right click is somewhere to near useless (depending on quest), but his other skills shine cause they’re really strong. My favorite Loa in the game.

Lenglensou

A little bit about him:
The tank of the game. The god one. The man who will carry your party to hope and all above it. He also likes sharp objects!

SKILLS:
Passive: Righteousness of Lenglensou
You get more health AND incoming heals are increased. Your damage is reduced, however. Your attacks also taunt your enemies, which causes them to focus you. BUT, if you get to full rampage, however, you go into rage mode, which gives you more damage, more healing, more resistances, etc. Not sure why this isn’t listed in the passive.

Space: Virtue
Increases your taunt chance, your resistance, but lessens your damage but returns damage you take as it is on. It is pretty much the ultimate peeling ability in parties. Long cooldown.

Right Click: Battle Cry
Damages your enemies around you, and taunts them. That’s literally all it does. But more peel! Also a long cooldown.

Difficulty: 6/10 solo, 4/10 party.
Just like Loko, hard to solo with due to lack of damage, BUT in return, thanks to his passive, he can go berserk which allows you to destroy things and also sustain yourself due to increased healing, making it necessary to get the hulk rampage thing in any situation. Note that his rampage bar is quite hard to fill though. He is also godlike in any party, especially if Loko is in your party. He is basically your tank in a party, and if Loko is in your party too, you basically will never die thanks to this defenses. Can’t go wrong with this guy in a party. In other words, he is probably one of the best characters in the game thanks to his synergy with his skills in parties and solo.

Maman Brigitte

A little bit about her:
The parton of loathed souls. Also very powerful. Married to Baron Samedi, which caused her to deal with his troublesome affairs. Caused her to thirst for revenge.

Skills:
Passive: Brigitte’s Spark
Keep your rampage filled and you get a fire shield! Not much else to say on this, however.

Space: Fire Area
You cast a big explosion around you, knocking enemies back and damaging them. Mediocre cooldown.

Right Click: Firewave (otherwise known as TEXT.SKILL_FIREWAVE.)
FHOOSH! you shoot fire, which damages and knocks back enemies you hit. But, however, has a wonky aiming system atm, and has a description of TEXT.SKILL_FIREWAVE_DESC. Mediocre cooldown.

Difficulty: 6/10 regardless.
She is an okay parent loa, and doesn’t really have much of a role. She doesn’t deal as much damage than Erzulie, doesn’t have the tankiness like Lenglensou, she’s kinda just there. She needs things to help her, and fast, because she is outclassed by everyone else. Well, except a Solo Loko and a Level one Agaou.

Agaou

A little bit about him:
HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD. THATS PRETTY MUCH AGAOU IN A NUTSHELL.
The Loa of the thunder, rain, and the storm, he is a very powerful Loa and also very violent.

EDIT: I feel like I was a bit rough on this guy, will play with him and update my thoughts on him.

SKILLS:

Passive: Gunner of God
Currently the only passive to not mention the Loa’s name! Tongue
Anyways, it reduces your health, but increases you critical chance. BUT HERE’S THE KICKER: The rampage bar represents your health too! YAY! So guess what? When you spawn you spawn with like 1-2 hp. Srsly. BUT, crits increase your rampage bar, which means that crits = HP. But, you can’t heal any other way besides that.

EDIT: At first glance, this passive may look like it sucks, but after looking into it a bit more, It is really strong! Will update thoughts on this later.

Space: Decoy
YOU TELEPORT AND DROP A DECOY THAT TAUNTS YOUR ENEMIES! Long cooldown.

Right Click: Roar
Not the song. Anyways, you consume all your rampage to make your crit chance skyrocket.

Difficulty: TBD
Replaying this guy. Will reupdate again later.
