Overview
I’m relatively new to this game myself, so I also tried to look for ways to farm batteries and/or cash after beating the game. Seeing as batteries collected in custom maps are not saved (at least not for me) to your “inventory”, I show you 3 ways I figured out to get my hands on batteries/cash quick.
Legit Solution
The first way to farm batteries is to simply complete the last mission as quickly as possible, as it yields 4 batteries every time. To do this, you only need to Wirejack one circuit and shoot Gessler without rewiring his gun, as shown in the video below. Extensive use of Gatecrashers lets you pretty much complete every mission a lot quicker without raising your violence bar.
Proper Legit Solution
I call this the “proper” solution because it’s closer to how the level is intended to be played. I still use gatecrashers in the video, but there is no need (unless you’re going for a certain secret achievement). The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you shouldn’t rewire Gessler’s gun so you don’t lose the batteries you just farmed in the mission.
Bug Exploit Solution
I’m not sure if calling this an exploit isn’t a little too harsh, but it’s not a legit way I suppose. However, it’s obviously the fastest one (someone posted this on the forums but I forgot his name :/).
- 1. Make sure you have at least 4 batteries.
- 2. Go to Upgrades and decrease the upgrade points in Power Capacity so that your current battery count matches your maximum battery count.
- 3. Go to Shop and make sure it reads fully charged below Battery.
- 4. Go to Upgrades and put 1 point in Power Capacity.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have the desired amount of batteries. You can also sell them if you want money, but there’s nothing to buy besides batteries anyway after you’ve beaten the game.
