Some builds may have it easier than others

You can retake the Crucible in some checkpoints: wave 50-100-150

Depending on your DLCs your max wave is 150 or 170

Friendly reminder to activate your buffs

Crucible has defenses and own buffs to help you

Dying in Crucible in SC means losing the loot, in HC means losing your char

My build is Pet Cabalist[www.grimtools.com] based on David Allen's "Sir Crunchybones Skelemancer Cabalist"[www.requnix.com] and was fairly easy with no deaths or heartattacks

Crucible is a Grim Dawn DLC, so for you to get the following achievs you must have it installed

To get access to the Crucible just start the game, select game mode Crucible and also select the difficulty (at first only Aspirant is available)

How to obtain: Clear wave 150 in Aspirant difficulty

Conqueror of the Crucible
"Complete the Crucible through wave 150 on Challenger difficulty"

How to obtain: Unlock Challenger by clearing wave 100 Aspirant, then push to 150 on Challenger

Lord of the Crucible
"Complete the Crucible through wave 150 on Gladiator difficulty"

How to obtain: Unlock Gladiator by clearing wave 100 Challenger, then push to 150 on Gladiator

General tips

Remember you can't have more than 100 so use them, also dont be afraid of creating defenses (vanguard+storm+chill) and activating blessings, they help a lot not only for survavility, they make you clear faster

I didn't need to use tributes in Aspirant or lower waves in Challenger and Gladiator so I saved quite a few for later waves

Unstoppable Lord of the Crucible
Complete the Crucible through wave 150 on gladiator difficulty with the 6th spawn point active

How to obtain: After you complete Gladiator difficulty, you can retake Crucible and ask for an extra spawn and you'll have to push to 150

Attention: This is a missable achievement, in case you missed it you'll have to start a new Crucible.

General tips

Once you reach 150 (or 170 if you wish depending on your DLCs) if you talk with Lokarr and ask for retake it will have more dialog that will allow you to unlock the 6th spawn, just follow the next path:

I wish to raise the stakes > Sure, but I bet you can also do better > select your checkpoint

What I did was push to 170 on Gladiator just to make sure but I dont think you have to since 150 should be enough, then re-take crucible with 150 spawn, beat it, unlock the dialogs, then retake at 100 with extra spawn (mainly because I had no tributes and wanted to make sure I reach 150, since im not sure 150+ counts)

Earn a Crucible score of at least 900k

How to obtain: You'll get it in the Aspirtant difficulty just by playing

Climbing the Ladder
Earn a Crucible score of at least 5m

How to obtain: It will pop up in Challenger difficulty around 150 aprox.

Top Score
Earn a Crucible score of at least 10m

How to obtain: Either push 170 in Challenger or deal with Gladiator difficulty

General tips

You'll be able to see your score all the time in the top right corner. Each round you kill will increase the multiplier with a x10 max that will stay as long as you keep killing.

For the 10m score what I did is pushing to 170 in Challenger but since I wanted all the achievs I can tell you that if you are looking for the 6th spawn point, you'll break the 10m barrier in Gladiator quite fast

Celestial Touch
Activate a Celestial Blessing

How to obtain: Talk to Torralia and pay for a blessing

Celestial Guidance
Activate 25 Celestial Blessings

How to obtain: You can activate blessings multiple times during the same run and it does count towards the goal

Celestial Intervention
Activate all 4 Celestial Blessings in a single Crucible

How to obtain: You need activate the 4 blessings (48 tributes) during the same crucible match

General tips

Visit the ghostly NPC to get the right dialog that lets you activate the blessings

Once you have read what does each blessing do, pay 12 tributes to active it. They don't last forever so be careful and re-activate them when needed.

What I did to get the 4 Celestial Blessings was waiting till I got 48 spare tributes and used them all at the same time

〚〛Defenses

Defensive Stance
Construct a defensive structure

How to obtain: Click in the blue areas in the map and select a defense to build it

Defense Overload
Construct 50 defenses

How to obtain: Restart several times the Crucible, build all and repeat

General tips

When you click on those blue áreas around the map you'll get the next pop up dialog

Once you select the one you want it will tell you before creating it what will it do, how many tributes and how many irons will it cost so as to create it. You can't delete nor change a defense that has been placed

I highly suggest 1 Vanguard Banner and the rest a mix between Stormcaller and Deathchill, personally I go with 1-2-1

For the 50 defenses I did 0-50 Gladiator and claim rewards, it gives enough to buy 4 defenses each time and you can basically AFK, use an arena like the legion one that has 4 spots for defenses and repeat

Got way lost when I searched for how to unlock the 6th spawn and had to redo Crucible multiple times and pay tributes for nothing until I found the right info, so hope I save you from making the same mistakes I did!
