Escape Every Prison in Escapists 2 (W.I.P)

Overview

This guide is currently a work in progress, it will be fixed up more as I make more unique escapes.

Welcome!

This guide will help you make every possible escape in The Escapists 2. I don’t really have much to say here, so I hope you like it.

Center Perks 2.0

There are 3 possible escapes, which I will go into detail about:

Perimeter Breakout: The easiest escape to pull off, go to a shed during Lights Out with a digging tool and start digging under the fence.

Meet the Crew: Find a Civilian Outfit, Radio Receiver, Broom and a roll of Duct Tape. Use the radio receiver, broom and duct tape to craft Fake Audio Equipment. Go to the northern exit of the prison with the Civilian Outfit and the Fake Audio Equipment equipped.

Last Post: Craft some Crate Casing, and 2 Crate Bases with a friend. Enter the multiplayer-only room, assemble the crate, and interact with the crate while your friend(s) are nearby.

Rattlesnake Springs

Perimeter Breakout: This escape has 2 easy ways:

1. Dig out from your cell, using the desk to cover it up.

2. With a friend, use the mineshaft inside the multiplayer only room to make an easy getaway.

Zip It Up: Craft a Complete Crossbow using a Crossbow Body, Crossbow Lathe and a Tube of Glue. Go to the second floor and look around until you find a crate on the wall. Interact with it while holding the Complete Crossbow.

Take Out the Trash: Craft Breathable Trash Bags for each player (crafted using a Breathing Mask obtained by crafting tubing, duct tape and a handkerchief, a trash bag, and duct tape), and then head to a room with a crate of trash bags in it. Interact with the crate while holding the breathable trash bags.

Cougar Creek Railroad

Unlike most prisons, this place has 4 escapes, which I will go into detail about:

My Little Phoney: Craft a Pretend Carrot with a Handkerchief, Orange Colored Pen and Green Colored Pen, and find the horse nearby the back of the train.

Do The Locomotive: With a friend, knock out the 3 guards at the front of the train, then interact with the machinery there.

Hooked On You: Craft a Grapple Hook with a Grapple Head (crafted by 2 crowbars and a roll of duct tape) and a Bundle of Rope, then climb on top of the train and interact with the right side.

Loose Caboose: Get a crowbar, and go to the back of the train. Use the crowbar on the hook holding it together.

K.A.P.O.W Camp

Perimeter Breakout: Craft a Plastic Red Key with Molten Plastic and a Red Key Mould (crafted with a Red Key obtained from a guard and a Wad of Putty), raise your Intellect to 60 (via Bookcases), and get a cutting tool. Wait until the clock hits 00:00 (12:00 AM in 12 hour time) and head to the generator room, avoiding the metal detector. Turn off the generator, and head to the south, where there is a deactivated electric fence. Cut through it and escape.

Speed McQueen: Get a pack of sugar mints (obtained from guards only) and a can of soda, then get into a room in the southwest of the map with a Makeshift Ladder. Craft a Makeshift Rocket Thruster with the pack of sugar mints and the can of soda. Then, equip the Makeshift Rocket Thruster to the motorbike and interact with it.

Glide to Victory: With a friend, find 4 dowels, craft a Multi Tool (or 2 sturdy pickaxes), craft a Fake Cyan Key Card, raise you or your friend(s) intellect to 70, craft 2 half frames of glider and 1 Glider Skin, then head to the cyan key card room nearby the infirmary on the second floor. Enter the staircase up there, and use the Half Frames of Glider and Glider Skin to repair the glider. Break the damaged wall you find up there with your Multi Tool or Sturdy Pickaxes (it won’t trigger lockdown as long as you don’t step outside), and interact with the glider.

H.M.S Orca

Scuba Doo: Craft a Makeshift Breathing Apparatus with duct tape, tubing and an oxygen tank (found in desks around the ship), and head to the south on the top floor. Interact with an opening in the fence with the Makeshift Breathing Apparatus.

Wave Goodbye!: Go to the east of the boat on the bottom floor. Find a piece of tubing and a single bolt, then interact with the jet ski to repair it and escape.

Masters of Illusion: Craft a Gun Making Kit with wax and soap, then use it with a lighter and a dinner tray to craft a Moulded Gun. Then, craft it with a jar of ink to create the Fake Gun. Head to the top of the ship with the Fake Gun and your friend to get to a helicopter. Use the fake gun on it to scare the person inside it out of the helicopter, allowing you to leave through it.

Taking Back Control: Similar to Do the Locomotive, knock out the guards driving with your friend(s), and then interact with the boat while every player is in the front of the boat.

H.M.P Offshore

Perimeter Breakout:

1. Head to an area in the bottom right with a red key to get there. When you get upstairs in that area you will find an empty chopper to escape through.

2. Shut off a generator located on the west of the map, and head up the tower it’s on until you can reach a walkway with a boat on it. Interact with the boat.

Trash Talk: Craft a Breathable Trash Bag (see K.A.P.O.W Camp for details), a red key and a crowbar. Head to a tower in the north, break the wall with the crowbar to get in, and use the breathable trash bag on the crate of trash bags inside.

Bad Intentions: Shut off the generator located west of the map, and head to a walkway on the east. Cut the fence there, and interact with the submarine with your friend(s) to escape.

Swimming with Dolphins: Craft a Readied Fishing Rod (with a Fishing Rod created with timber, string and a paperclip, and the other ingredient for the Readied Fishing Rod is a Juicy Worm), and head to a walkway in the south. Use the Readied Fishing Rod nearby the end of the walkway.

Fort Tundra (Unfinished)

Perimeter Breakout: W.I.P

Rock-Hammer Hard Place: Craft a cutting tool, and complete the Rock-Hammer Hard Place quest to completion. This will give you a Rock Hammer, something required for completing this escape. Go to the left of the statue with the Rock Hammer during Lights Out, and hit the sewer entrance with the rock hammer. Go in the sewer and cut the 2 fences with your cutting tool. Climb the ladder.

Fun with Jeeps: Craft a Red Key for each friend you have, get a crowbar, train one player’s intellect to 60, and place a bed dummy in each player’s bed. Head south east during Lights Out to find a red door. Have every player go through it and open the multiplayer door on the other side. Chip through the wall with your crowbar and interact with the jeep.

Area 17

Perimeter Breakout: Get an Iron Bar, guard outfit and adrenaline shot. Craft a plastic red key, bed dummy and a cutting tool. Place the bed dummy in your bed, then head south to a corridor with stairs leading up in it. Wait until 00:00 shows on the clock. At that time, drop your contraband and shut off the generator, then head upstairs. Cut through the fence outside, then chip through the wall quickly before the power turns on again. Use the Adrenaline Shot if you run out of energy.
