Expert Of War achievement bug - Possible solution

I have been grinding kills in this game in order to get this achievement and upon completing every single challenge, I didnt get anything.
Quite frustrating after spending so many hours trying to complete it, only to hit a wall with no explaination.
So I tried a few things to give me an insight if the game was broken or I did something wrong.
I dont know if this would work for everyone, but it should, it did for me.

***UPDATE*** - This might be an issue with Steam Cloud, so just go to your steam library, and then right click on Homefront > Properties > Updates > find Steam Cloud and tick the box off.
