The german Steam Fallout3.exe is still 1.0.0.15 through the Fallout3ng.exe is 1.7.3thats the reason i think broken steel and other dlc dont start and why triangles appear everywherewhen i tried to patch the game normaly with 1.7 i got an error but after i used those method from below it didnt crash anymore and all dlcs working too1. Replace the “Fallout3ng.exe” with Fallout3.exe and overwrite it. Copy and Paste “Fallout3ng.exe” into the same folder. Now you should have “Fallout3ng – Copy.exe” in the Folder. Rename “Fallout3ng – Copy.exe” to “Fallout3.exe” and overwrite the old one.2. after that go and look by google search for patch 1.7 for fallout 3 german and download and install ithttp://www.gamestar.de/spiele/fallout-3/downloads/fallout_3,43430,1957924.html3.
