Fallout Tactics beginner mission guide

Overview

This guide is on how to complete the in game mission succefully on the way how to do them. I will tell you how to complete the mission in game.I am done with the mission guide now. To use this guide just scroll through to the mission that you are on and read through that part of the guide.

Introduction

This guide will will be set up just like my Beginners guide set up . If you are new to my guide click on the section of the guide to go to that part of the guide that you need infomation on it. I will have the mission divide in to seperate section for each mission( ex: 1.Bramin wood , this mission is the first mission of the game). I hope that this guide will help you out as you go through out the missions.

Note : i will work on this guide when i have time for it., I will have picture with the mission map on it with # ex:1,2,3,etc. The # will tell what pratical(tactis,menemies,etc) info there is so you know what is ahead of time. Click on the picture to enlarge it to read the # to understand what the certain # means on this map. Use your mind to think what tactics to use and have a previous save game of the mission if you mess up.

My squad i use is made up of 6 people. My squad is Just like in my beginneer guide squad witch i went through i am going through the same squad design .

Traveling the wasteland/transportation

Through out the game you will have to travel across the wasteland. In the begining you have to cross it by foot . Traveling by foot you are limited to what you can carry in your party inventory. With vehicles you get in the game later on. Each vehicle allow you to have between 1-6 people in them.The vehicles can hold a unlimited amount of items in the vehicle

scout car: found in a mission
tank: ( a version of the M4 sherman) found in Newton in the begining area. This tank fire shell witch you can buy from merchant in BOS base.

events while going traveling from one place to another

While you are treveling the wasteland you will have encounters . Most of them you can skip if you over 100% outdoors skill. There certain event you can not skip. In the place you can leave the place to carry onward. Certain event are entertaining, have some sort of importence or can be a danger to your party.

This event is called Komono man. This event a komono lizard tamer ennoyed his komono lizard to the point that it killed the Komono lizard tamer. He is trying to show the crowd what can happend if you ennoy a Komono lizard in the game This lizard tamer think he is Steve Irwin from south park . Lesson learned from him do not ennoy animals that can kill you.

Looting and acumulating money

Looting is the main way how you will be making money in the game. With the money you make you can use it to purchase needed items such as extra ammo,medic items ,guns,armor and etc. Most of the medic items ,weapon and ammo you will find it if you loot chest/corpses. It is very importent that you save what money you have left over from selling your loot . If you save up enough BOS $$ in time you can buy the best armor and weapons in game by the end of the game..

The way i save BOS $$ and wasteland cap $$ :

my formula to make alot of BOS and wasteland currentcy in game. Having a person with high charisma score and a barter skill will greatly effect on how much money you make or spend on a item.

total loot sold profit – purchase need items = remaining profit from mission loot sold
25,000 BOS $ – 8,000 BOS $ = 17,000 BOS $ profit from loot sold

If you follow my formula by game end you should have alot of BOS $ to spend on very good weapons and power armor by games end. Remember it is very importent not to touch to the your BOS $ that you accumulate unless you you have to use the accumulate BOS $$ saved up on needed items. By game end if you you do not touch your BOS saving’s you will have up tp 150K BOS $ + saved by game end to spend on best gear at end of the game.

1.Brahmin Wood

This is the first mission of the game. You wll begin the mission after starts General Barnaky will be talkng to you . You can talk the village elder to get more info on the raiders in the area. At the start of the game you will have 3 crew members.The 3 squad members are your squad leadr, Stich and Farsight. After this mission go the recruitment master and get your squad filled up with desirable squad members. This mission you will pick up alot of alot of small fire arms and melee weapons. Try to pick up as much supplies here and carry it back to back to the base to sell them to the quarter master at the BOS base.


1. there are raiders in this area.
2. there are raiders in this area, find the key in area to continue to area # 3.There is a raider in this building becareful of this and around the sandbags(wall).The building have a chest with items in it and a key to area # 3.
3. Use key to continue to this area. There is a raider in this room. Out side of this room there is a raider. Out side of this room area to the north there east of this area there is a raider and a few dogs.The tent in this area have a few items in a chest in this this tent. Continue your way to #4 . The tent between #3 to 4 have tribals in them. Kill the raiders in this tent to save the tribals and continue on ward. The tent close to #4 there are 3 raiders. one in the tent and the other one do his patrol around the tent.
4. There is a raider in the building at #4.
5.There are are raiders in and aound the building at the end of the basket ball court. In this building there is a box with some loot in it . On the right side of the basket ball court between the 2 walls there is a raider. Behind where the raiders are there is a raider in the tower . Climb the ladder to ger to the loot in the box there and kill the raider.
6. There are raiders and a dog in the ruins
7. There are raiders outside and inside the building where the raider leader in this area is. You can climb the ladder on the side of the building to throw grenades on to the inside to potential kill the raiders while you rush in to kill the raiders. After killing the raider leader pick up the key off of his body you will be needing it. Loot the corpses and the chest in this area. There is a chest that require lockpicking to unlock it through. Once finishing in this area you can take the gate to the south in this area and use the key of off the leader raiider or take the long way around that you took to get here. before going to extraction zone you can talk to the tribes man elder he will congratulate you and give you some healing powder as a reward. On a side note he will mention that you have abilaties to be a leader. Go to the extraction point and you will be debreifed. Head back to base and get ready for the next mission.

First bunker: Bunker Alpha

This bunker is used in mission 1-3 while in this area.

2.Freeport

The main objuective in this mission is to rescue the village elder from Brabmin wood. The raiders kidnaped him and is holding him at their encampment at Freeport. There is a BOS informent who look like a raider but he wears red armor. This informant will not help you when the siren is turned on to alert every one theat you are there. He will give you infomation that you need . You can complete this mission by not being sneaking in to rescue the village elder. You can kill all the raiders then go in to free the vilage elders.
1.The informant is here he is hiding behind a wall.
2.The village elder is located in one of these tents
3.This is the extraction points

Note: i am on this mission still

Travel south while and then travel north from the tent in the corner . You will face raiders around this tent area and the far easr side of the road. There are raiders in the ruins and through out the entire area.. Just make sure that you kill all raiders that can get to the siren to alert the rest of the raider of your prensence. Killing the raiders when they are in small groups or by them selfs is much more easier . When the raider use the siren more raiders will come to your location. Use the enviroment , weapon and squad position to take down these bigger group of raiders down. Once the raider are killed off in area you can rescue the village elder and complete the mission. The bit below have use info that you can use. After the village elder flee to a safe area you will be told to go to the extraction zone and then you will be debrefied .

There is prisoner that you can free. The key to this cell is on the raider leader in the area in the center on of the map where the tents are. The raiders in this area have ak-47 on them . Pick them up because they are usefull fire that use use a common 7.62mm ammo type . certain tents have have boxes and chests that you can loot. There is a building to the north by the extracion point that there is a chest inside there. There is a raider in here you can kill him in 2 ways. You can open the door and kill him or use the sandbag wotch act as a open window that you can kill him from this opening.The door is lock so you need to lockpick the door to open it up.

3.Rock Falls

The main objective of this mission is to kill the raider leader’s in the region and obtain a mechanical arm off a person that the raider is holding as a captive. If you obtain ak-47’s from the prevous mision then use this with burst controll on to kill the raiders quickly.

There are raiders through out the map. Certain areas have more raiders then others.There are 3 ways in to fort to kill the raiders. There is a small passage way that you can crawl under by the collapse part of the wall. This way lead you directly the the feild by where the main raider leader is.You can go through the left side witch is lightly defended.The door to the left on the left side is locked so unlock this door to continue in this area. The building in this area hold the person that have the mechanical arm that you need to obtain in the mission. Unlock the door to his cell to get to him. If you do not want to lockpick the door you can find the key to the cell in this area. Clear the fort of raiders to make sure the path for him to get to safety when you talk to him to free him. The right side is also lightly defended. There is the front gate witch is heavly defended. If use the front gate use the ak-47 and hunting rifle to kill the raiders that are guarding the front quickly. The front gate is unlock so you can skip the two side enterances. Choose witch path suite you best. You can find the raiders leader through out the strong hold. The main raider leader is where #1 is marked on the map. There is a minefeild out side the gate to the where the main raider leader is.When unleashing the prisoner in this area make sure that area around the front gate is cleared or if that area is not cleared properly the prisoners can be killed by the raiders that are left in the area.

Now by this point if you have not done it by now you have kill all the raider leaders up this point except killing the head raider learder and free the prisonersners. When you do kill the last raider leader there are mines outside the gate to his locations. Find and destroy the mines to make your way to the gate. There are raiders to kill by the gate. You will notice the gate is locked so use the lockpicking skill to unlock the door to use the power switch to open the gate. In this area you will find more raiders in the building and on the wall. The final raider leader is in the building with his other raiders troop. If you have the double barrel shot gun and ak-47 then use them to focus there fire on to the raiders to give them a quick 1-2-3 punch to finish them off.

With the raiders dead and having the mechanical arm in your inventory go to the evacuation to finish the mission off.When you get back to base and get rid of your loot go to Barnaky and he will tell you that will be going to another BOS base to continue on with your squad duties. When you get to the new base and when ready you will do the 4th mission. All of the easy missions are done with . Your missions from mission 4-19 will get harder over time.

Second bunker : Bunker Beta

This bunker is used from mission 4-7 while in the area.

There is a hidden bonus mission witch you can go to Springfeild.
Bonus Mission – Springfield(an ode to the “Simpsons”)

You must do all the required stuff to activate the mission before you do the last mission witch would be mission #7 . If you do not then you can not do this bonus mission.

4. Macomb

This mission is going to be a easy one for you.Your main objective to complete is to get the humvee to the evac point of the map. The evac point is at the end of the map at the bottom east-south edge. You can keep the humvee or jeep if you have someone in it when mission over and bring it back to base. You can use this humvee. It holds 6 people and a unlimited amount of item. This is a perfect a perfect vehicle for transporting 6 people to mission/location and holding all of your loot to sell,store or use at a later time.

To complete this mission you will have to clear each area of enemies to get the humvee to the evac point. You will be facing weak enemies still: raiders,dogs,citazens. If you want to store any extra loot in this mission just give it to the driver of the humvee . Once the mission is over you can sell the desirable loot for BOS $ and keep the desirable items in the humvee.

There is a optional side quest to complete it have no real importence through. You can skip this quest and it will have no effect to the storyline at all . To begin this quest go to the Municapal libiary in the middle of the map. In this building there is person you can talk to. He will ask you to get another pair of glasses for him. Some how he lost his glasses and because you are a nice person you are going to get them for him . The glasses are in a build past the gate in the middle of the map. You can find them in a chest in a building in this area. The reward for giving him the glasses are a sklll book . He will say thank you for returning them to him in a mean and sarcastic way. If you think sarcasim died off when the post-acopolyse happpend then you are wrong.

Once the humvee get to the evac point General Barnaky say thank you to you for protecting the humvee with the supplies geting to there places safely.You can keep the humvee if you take back to base with you.

5. Prearia

This mission is a simple one you will have to go in to the vault and get some fusion batteries. Talk to the village elder and he will tell you that they have them. He will prounce it wrong and say”fyushun bats”. The vault witch he does not know it is vault say it is guarded by bad spirits. You have to go through the vault and kill the enemies (bad spirits) in the vault. These batteries are inside the vault some where. Do be kind to these tribals they do not have the same chance to be as enlighted as the Brotherhood of Steel is. Inside in this vault you can find better weapons(M16a1,m-14,browning HP pistol,etc) in it you just need to find them.

Out side the vaullt stairs there are deactivated turrets that can be turned on. Look in guide on how to keep these turrents off when you get out of this vault . If they are on still when you get out you have 3 options: option 1 sneak/run to get to safety. option 2 destroy the turret and get to safety.option 3 go back in to the vault and deactivate exterior security and get back to the surface.

Inside you will find insects that can poison at you and vault turrets . Have a antidote to get rid of the poison status and have a medic near your squad member to heal them or apply the antidote to get rid of the poison status .These turrets can be turned off if you find the switch that are found in the vault..There is yellow pass key that you will need . It can be found in the area before you reach the terminal to a long cordoor.This key is to unlock the yellow door in a office in this area. In this are pass the door you will find ammo,medical item and a fusion battery in the safe and lockers.With the first fusion battery in you party inventory get your party in to the terminal room by the long coridoor. save your game now.

Once you activate the terminal and step through the door the vault security will be activated. One thing i found usefull when in the vault is when by a turret in a open area i use my cover to protect my squad members while the insect come to kill me. With the bug in the open the turret will kill or weaken insct. Once the security is activated read the following paragh below on how to get the squad past these turrets.

I get my squad to behind the cover in this hallway in a crawl position.There are some corrpses that have some loot on them. These corpses are dead citazen of vault 0 that you are in and you will find dead tribals in the vault as well. Learn the pattern and timing for the turrets action. When the turret begins to go drops down in to it sheild cover get your squad member to run past them and find a safe spot in the area past turrets. In this area you will find insects that can poison you. Watch out for them and have your 1st squad member run past the turret with enough fire power to kill the bugs in the safe area to the rest of the party and have antidotes on them to get rid of the poison status.With the entire squad in a safe area use your medic to treat any servere injuries that any party member have gotten from running past the turrets. The 2nd fusion battery can be found in engine room in a locker in the area where you can a square table witch is made up of 2 tables with 2 charis on 3 sides of table with anothwr smaller one next to it.There is a power room by this open area. In this room It have 3 engines in it and a turret. Just like the long cordoor room study the turret pattern in this room to get by it. There is a switch that you activate witch will onlock the door to go deeper in to the vault to find the last fusion battery. This switch in the newly open area will activate the turrets on the surface on and turn the turrets in the vault off. With this switch activated you can check the vault safely with out geting hurt by these turrets.NOTE: Rember to activate the switch again to turn the surface turret off when you are going to the surface. When you have the last fusion batter have the entire squad close to the surface have one person in group group at this switch to turn the surface turret off and turn the vault security back on. By doing this you can leave the vault safely. This 1 person after the switch is activated have this person run past the main coridoor where the 2 turrets are to meet up with the squad . Do not worry will you not lose any karma points when you turn the surface turrets on .You would have lose karma points if you went and killed these tribals your self.

This third area with the turrets turned off clearing the area of bug is going to be easy for you. The 3rd fusion batter can be found in a big open room that a lot of bog roaches can be found in. THis fusion battery can be found in a locker in this room. When you finaly find the 3rd fusion batter remember to to read the parts after NOTE because this will be importent when you want to leave the vault safely. After you get the 3rd fusion batter check the vault for valuable loot or usefull items if you not done it already . When you are done that part read the part after NOTE. Now that you are at the staircase to the surface and you turn back on the internal vault security you can now go to the surface now.

When you get to the surface you will see dead tribal killed from the turrets when you turned them on earlyer. Loot them for usefull items if you want to. Talk to the tribal elder and he will confess to you what he did wrong. He wanted you dead by using the evil spirits. He think the evil spirits killed his people but the turrets killed them. It is unfortunate that this tribe built there little village close to a dagergous spot. With the mission completed go to the evac point to complete the mission.General Baranky will congratulate you on your good work . He will give a nice short speach on puting missionobjective firtst and inform you on the BOS regulation on what it is ok and not ok to kill. Return mack to base now and get ready for the next mission.

6. Quincy

Note: i am on this mission now.

The main objective to this mission :
– make sure the mayor of Quincy stay alive
– liberate the town from beast lord controll
-help the ghouls out(optional)

Town:

The first thing you must do is that you must make sure the mayor of the town is safe . After that is taken care of take care of the beast lord and their animals. Beware there are baby deathclaws. Use focysed fire to kill them quickly and keep them at a distance. If they get up close they can serverly give your squad a bad day. You realy just had to just have to clear the townhall in the center of town and save the mayor to complete the mission . I will go to through the rest of the map now and kill all the beast lord and enemies . I will find more loot while i am exploring the area.

Saving the ghouls:
To get to the ghoul town area go where the prison is and tank the route from there to where the ghoul town there. With your squad you should have the surprise on them . If you have any ak-47’s in your group this is a good time to use them to kill the beast lord and their animals. To the north a ghoul name Gorgi . Inside there are 2 beast lords that is holding Gorgi as a hostage. Kill these 2 to free him make sure you kill all of the beastlord and animals in the area before doing this.With Gorgi free go to the ghoul town area and talk to a ghoul name Elliot. He will thank you personnaly that you saved Gorgi. The ghouls from now on can join your party as a party member. If Gorgi died then the ghoul community will greive for his lost and they will join the BOS still.

If you did not save them then you can not get them as a future recruit.You will not get the good karma points if you did not save them.

Prison( detention center):
This place is north-east of the town hall. In here there are beast lords in here . Kill them in the prison.

Brothel( north of the townhall):
When you get to this place there is hostage event going on. Take care of these beast lords in this place. If you failded to save the civilians in here from the beastlords General Barnaky will be disapointed with you but he accepted what your current squad skill is currently.

At the evac point:
For me I save the ghouls,Gorgi and saved the mayor. I cleared the town of the beast lord. I failed to save the people at the brothel. At the end General Barnaky congratulated me for completing the mission. With saving the ghouls he did not like that idea and he will have to accept the ghouls being BOS members.

7. Mardin

Main objective:
-kill the Beastlord leaders
– find and deal with the deathclaw infestation

Geting to the base:
there are 3 way in to the base. Witch ever way you get in to the base you have to kill the beastlord and their minion to get in to the 3 ways in to the base. I took the main one where the cemetery sign that say Mardin on it.From in side the base you have to find your way to the Deathclaw infestation and to kill beast lord leader.

KIlling the Beastlord leader:
For me i went the long way around in the base to find and rescue the death named Mother. with her free i use my squad with the aid of her deathclaw infants to kill the beastlord’s, it leader and it minions. The leader uses a spear be carefull of his . be carefull of his minions. DO not use shotguns or blast range weapons if you have freed Mother and her deathclaws infants.

Finding the Deathclaw infestation:
In the underground base close to where the beastlord leader is there is a caged area where you will find a deathclaw that goes by the name of “Mother”. You can kill her if you want to. If you do not kill her you can recruit the deathclaws as squad recruits. If you do not want to kill the beastlord leader yet you can find the key on the beast lord body to free her. With her free you can use her help to kill the beast lord leader and his minions. After the leader is killed and Mother is alive still talk to her again. She will congratulate you and will begin to send some deathclaws to be trained as BOS recuits. If you ralk to her again after killing the beast lord she will comment on how well you fought against them as if you were part of her family unit.

Prison cell:
In the area to where Mother is there are civilain traped in there cell. You can free them by lockpicking the celldoor if you can not find the key to them.

Conclusion:
when you get the evac point he will congratulte you on completing the mission. If you saved the deathclaw and her children the General Barnaky will have to tolerate the new BOS members . If you did not save them then your mission debreifing will be differant.

Third bunker : Bunker Gamma

This bunker is used from mission 8-11 while in area.
from mission 8-11 you will be facing off with super mutants. They will be using light and heavy weight weapons that can get you alot of BOS $ from them if you sell them.

8. St. Louis

Object:
-rescue the BOS squad in the area and bring all of them back to the evac
-DO NOT go to where there super mutant base is in the most west side of the map.

Items you need :
enough first aid items to restore the BOS company in the north of the map
and enough tool kits to repair your APC( vehicle)

The way i complete this mission is i use the vehicle (APC ( armor personal carrier) in mission to carry all item i get in the mission. You can keep this vehicle after the mission if you bring it from evac point to the BOS base. I use the vehicle and have them in it while i advance forward to save the squads that i can could save. There are parts that you will need to leave it to get to certain area’s in the mission. You will need to bring medic items to save some of the squad members in this mission.
There is one squad that you will save they are in the north of the map . Make sure you have a medic or some one that is the squad with medic skill to heal the BOS squad in the north.It is to drive over the mine’s. Remember to use tool kit’s to repair the APC when it take any damage.

With General Baranaky disaperance there will be a new general to give you mission debreifing and breifing. This general will congratulate you on the good work trying to save all of the squads in the area. Now go back to base and get ready for the next mission. General Dekker will be giving you your misson’s now.

9. Jefferson

Objectives:
– Disable the generators

This mission is a easy one when it come to objective goal only. There is another vehicle that you can collect as well . It is a scouter car.This scout car can be found in the begining area of the map. You will be facing super mutants in Jefferson. They will use big weapons,melee weapons and explosize weapons still. If you use the scout car you can put all the loot you get that you do not need and take back to base. If you have a person with a high barter skill you can make alot of BOS $$ just from selling the supermutant equipment in this mission. The tactinc i use when it come to killing the mutants here i use 2 people with LMG with a sniper for support from a distance. The 2 LMG people go forward use cover and fire back while the sniper do what they do best sniping people from a distance. I have a combat medic as well to protect and heal my squad as they go through this mission. I find that big weapons when use properly in a group is quite effective agaist the supermutants.I found if there is side path or another way to around them try to take that path if you want to. You will need a person with a high lockpick skill to lock pick some doors/containers. You need a person that can detect traps as well to dearmed them to spot them so that the party can go around theem. Remember there is usefull loot that can be found in the mission. Good thing that your LMG that you use that use the 7.62mm round you will find plenty of that ammo type when facing the super mutants. In all or most of the rooms in the mission you will find mutants so pick a plan to get the upper hand when facing the mutants such as flaking them and etc. Check what is up ahead first because if your party run past a wall,sandbag wall and etc. A super mutant if you run past him they can shoot andptentialy kill a party member if they are lucky enugh.

1st generator:
Destroying this one is easy once the mutants are dead in the area. Once they are dead have some one shoot and destroy this generator.The secnd generator will be a tricky one to get to.

2nd generator:
This one is surrounded by turrets and supper muttants. Once the super mutants are killed you can use your sniper in the group to shoot at the generator if they have a clear line of sight and have a high chance to shoot at it. Just remember that the turrets are hard to kill so it is ok to not to kill them. They can cause a problem if you want to send some one in to the generator room to destroy the generator. The way i destro the gnerator i stay on the left side of the road and having 3 people run in to the generator room to get to cover and support each other. Once the mutants are dead i use some one to shoot at the generator. With the 2nd genator dead i regroup in a safe spot. The way to the 3 generator there are 2 path the strait forward path to it r a side road just underneath the bridge . Both f them lead to the third generator. If you have the scout car still i would clear the building around the blockades on the way to the third generator.

3rd generator:
The third generator is by a factory. There are 2 ways in to the factory to get to the generator with the factory area. The is path the lead under it and the other one is a strait forward path in to the base.Choose with path works for you. The door to the room the generator is unlocked and destroyed it . Now go in to the factory and deal with what is inside

4th generator & Inside the factory:
You will notice a mutant reseacher is doing research of some kind. Talk to him. Destroy the lab or go to the evac point. I did not destroy the stuff this reseacher was working on and i went to the evac point. Destroy the 4th gnerator and go to the evac point. If you have and want the scout car still you can drive to a edge of the map and keep it still.

Conclusion:
You willl be receiving the same good job feeling when the general talk to debreif you on completing the mission and he informed you there 2 other mutants groups that you have to deal with. Go back to base and do what ever preperation for the next mission.

10. Kansas City

Objective:
-defend ghoul compound
– kill supermutant leader in area
-protect ghoul leader
-obtain infomation on the warhead if possible (optional)

This group is one of the two supermutants groups you have to take off.The way how you can complete the mission you must defend the compound on 3 sides from the supermutants attaks. The ghouls will help you defend the compound as well. Once the compound is safe go and finish the super mutant leader off when the compound is safe from remaining supermutants that could come from the south or west in to the compond. Remember that the supermutant have valuable loot. There is usefull loot in the in the building in this area. Once supermutant leader and the super mutants in area is dead you can safely look for usefull loot. You can get miniguns from the super mutants corpses in this mission.

When you do get to get in to use close quarter with the super mutants use squad tactics and explosize weapons. I found flanking tactics were usefull as well. Try to flank around blind spots to flank them safely. If you are in the open certain builds the supermutants wil shoot at you while you are in the open still.

Use squad tactics to clear each building of supermutants . Once the area is cleared of supermutants go back to the ghould bishop and talk to him. Once done talking to him go to the evac point. If you have not done so already once the town is clearded of supermutants loot the corpses for ammo,weapons and any usefull items .

Once you get to the evac point you will be congratulated on completing the mission. For me i could not obtain infomation on the warhead. Go back to the BOS base and do what ever preperation for the next mission.

11. Osceolla

Objective:
-Kill Gamoria

This mission is a simple one. You will go and kill the supermutant leader who is a BOS traitor to the BOS cause. You will take one of the three path to kill the BOS traitor.The first way is a direct way in to the base witch i do not recommand.The direct path is heavily defended by supermutants at both entrances. The second path there is subterain path that can lead in to base witch you have to travel through a undeground path to sneak in to the base. The third path you can take a long route around the base to sneak through the base back door to get the suprise on them.I went with the long route to sneak in to there base. Becarefull there are mines and traps so be carefull of them. Disarm , walk around them or destroy them to continue forward. There is crashed blimp that you can go to and find usefull loot. There is a person who you can talk to give you some usefull infomation by the crashed blimp.When you start the mission there are two boxes marked with BOS symbol. In them are medical items and explosize witch you can use them if you want to. Witch ever path you choose you will encounter supermutants outside and inside the base.

Once you get inside make sure the base is clear of supermutants. If not a stray 0ne that is alive can kill your team members. If you do take the back route to sneak in to the base the is a tower by oil fracking devices that have 2 super mutants on the tower. Once those mutants dead you can use this tower to post a sniper in the group to shoot any mutants while your squad get in to the base from the back way in to the base. Once the base surface is clear of supermutants and when you are ready descend in to base to kill Gamora.

there are 2 ways in to the undergound part of the base. There is a wounded supermutants who you can talk to. This super mutant will not attak you. He will give you some usefull infomation on the menace from the west. On him when he dies after finish talking to him he have some usefull loot on him. He will have a use misc item name Barnaky letters. They are from his wife Maria. Pick them up and keep them in your main charater inventory. You may need this in the future. I have no idea what this item does but once i do know i will put it in the guide. Go to the room to the left where you find this talkative super mutant . In this room clear it of super mutants. The room Room north of this room have Gamoria in it. He will give a speech to you before he and his minion in this room attak you. The way i took him out is i had 2 snipers fire at him while 1 team member is by the door side for protection and have it open the entire time. Once dead find a chest in this room . In this chest their is a breif case in this chest that is a valuable item . Pick it up. Go to the evac point to complete the mission. Loot the corpses in the mission for more loot if you have not done so already. If you cleared both base enteries when you were clearing the surface base of supermutants you will have a dirrect path to the evac point.

Debreifing:
You will be congratulated on your good work on completing the mission. You will get some more back ground infomation on Gamoria. With the supermutant threat dealt with. There foreces will form small groups that can cuase problems still. With most of them dealt with they will be no longer a problem to you or the BOS except in small groups only. Make up your mind if Gamoria is truly a traitor or not. The breifcase you found it was a portable nuclear warhead arming device. Do what ever preperation for the next mission.

When you are at base talk to the General. This area is secured. He will inform you to relocate to a new BOS base. Go There and talk to the Genral again to get your next mission. You ccan get your team in to all of your vehicle that you accumilate and drive them to the next base if you want.

Fourth bunker : Bunker Delta

This bunker is used from 12-15 while in area.

12. Junction City

objective:
-obtain robot parts
-confront the reavers
-get Casy to join the BOS(optional)

This mission is a offensize and a deffensive mission. Have your team at the gate area where it lead to the Reaver base ( to the most north of the map). Have one person go about to find the robot parts in town. During the search the reavers will attak the town. With your squad at the gat area they can save citazen lifes in the area from the Reavers killing them. If you have a sniper in your group put them on the walkway of the wall. By the time you get the 2nd robot piece the Reavers will begin their attak . When they do there attak you can use flanking tactic to get the upper hand on them when they charge at the city. The enforcer guard will be killed by the Reavers. You will obtain energy weapon’s and ammo off of the Reaver corpses.

When you go to there base do a gradual push while you use flanking and support tactics.
There are traps on the way to there base. When you do get in to there base the door is traped that lead to the second floor.Get the robot parts to parts after you have dealt with the reaver parts and go to the evac point to finish the mission.

Pre inventory check
– medic items to treat Casy father wounds(optional)
– about 10,000 caps to buy robots part from merchant
– if not have have caps bring valuable items to trade for robot part from merchant

How to get Casy to join you:
Talk to her she will mention her father was shot during a reaver attak and need help. You can find her in a build by the railway track and close to the evac point.The building is the most south point of the walled city by the railway tracks in the enclosed city. Have a medic or a person use medic items to treat her father injurous. Then talk to her again to get her to join the BOS.

How to obtain the robot parts.
Talk to the people in town and do what is needed to get them.
-Deal with the Reavers threat then talk talk to the mayor again to get the robot head.
– Talk to Angry Rick who own the The PIt. Talk to him multipul time to intimidate him to give the the robot accututer part.
-The robot torso can be obtain in Reaver base at the work bench
– To get the robot arm talk to Juan who own the Jaun Emporium. Rember to trade your items to get the robot arm from him. If you are short on cash you can trade in the Reaver gear that you find on their corpses to get the arm.Having a high barter skill will lower the price as well.

Conclusion:
You will be congratulated on completing the mission and geting Casy to join the BOS . Prepare for the next mission.

13. Great Bend

objective:
-destroy the robot forces in town

This mission is a easy one you will go and eliminate the robot threat in town. In this mission you will be coming across more energy weapon and ammo off of the robot corpses. The robot use small,big and energy weapons. I find energy weapons,heavy and explosize fire arms can kill these robots quickly when you focus fire on the robots. you will be congratulated on completing the mission. Do what ever prep for the next mission.

14. Cold Water

objetcie:
-obtain the missing power armor that was stolen from BOS theives

To complete this mission there is alot of close quarter fighting. It is very importent to use close quarter squad tactics. You will go through area’s where you will meet both civilian and BOS warrior as well. You will encounter BOS crates where you can find use full items. When you do travel up the floors do expect to ecounter mines on the ground. Once you get the three broken power armor offf of those who had them on.

There is a side quest that you can complete as well. There is a person named Simon Dudley on the second floor in the bar area. He will Tell you a disquised BOS warrior is in a room with his sister. He will lead you to where the BOS warrior is. If you kill the BOS with saving his sister and talk to him he will give you a reward for saving his sister. THe BOS if he lived he would of had herpies . I feel sorry for this BOS warrior. On the 4th floor there is trail of mines that you have to destroy to get to the BOS warriors leader in this area.

Conclusion:
You will be contratulated on completing the mission. Do what ever prep for the next mission.
At this point power armor began to be availble to me.

15. Newton

Objective:
– rescue the reaver leaders and bring them to a evac point
-find experimental EMP weapon (optional)

This mission is a simple one. You will find and rescue the reaver leader and bring them to the evac point. The is a tank that you can repair and use it. If you want to keep it bring it to the evac point at the end of the mission.

The reavers that you have to rescue you can control them and take them to the evac point. I would have a path that they can run through to get there.The reavers when they are in your company you cansearch their inventory and take their item with out losing karma .The EMP weapon can be found in the labatory in a safe that you have to unlock it to put it in the inventory.

You will be congratulated on completing the missoon and also if you find the EMP weapon.
Do what ever prep for the next mission and you will be moving to another base to continue onward .

Fifth bunker: Bunker Epsilon

This bunker is used from mission 16-19. When you begin to do mission 19 you can not come back to this base. Do all your prep before mission 19.

16. Canyon City


objective :
– destroy the power nodes
– Destroy the 6 power nodes at the same time
-gather infomation on vault 0 ( in bulid marked as 5/6)
-have 6 people in party is a must to complete this must

This mission is a easy one . You have to go through the level and clear the area to make sure it is safe for the party member to be just incase if no robots come to attak the party member. When the area is safe have all people fire at their desinated power at the time to prevent them from repairing them selfs. If you do not destroy them with in a short amount of time they will begin to repair them self and you have to repeat the process again untill this part of the mission is complete. In the building of area 5 and 6 where it is marked these room will be a chaalenge to clear out . There are multipul ways in to the place. You need to use squad tactic to clear the rooms out. There are also terminals with vault 0 infomation that you can use to gather info on this topic. There is a big door that can lead in the base that you need to rurn the power switch on to go through this door. If you go through this door you will be facing a pacification bot. This room is a optional room you can skip. THe only thing you get in this room is loot off of this bot and a way in to base. In the room that lead to the pacification from the inside a robot in this room have a laser gantaling gun. You will be congratulated on finishing the mission and do what ever prep for the next mission.

17. Buena Vista


objective:
– shut down or destroy the power plant
– destroy the plant manufacuring abilaties
-destroy as many robot’s as possible

This mission is a bit of a hard one. In the begining you will see what happend to the squad that rush in to the facilatie with out think first on what could happend to them. To get in to this facilaitie you need to take the long root to the bid door to get in to the building. You will encounter a Behemoth bot and spider bots to in the same area. You will encounter humanoid robot’s as well. When you have to kill the Behemoth spread the group out so it can only shoot a one person at a time.

Once inside you have to use squad tactic and cover to protect your self. There are terminal that you can acces to get exp and more info on the caculator as well. Once inside you have to destroyed the generator and the power plant. Before you leave to the evac point destroy as many robots as possible.

Once the mission is completed you will be congratulated on completing the mission. Do what ever prep for the next mission.

18. Scott City

objective:
– find and kill the merchant

To Find the merchant you will have to go through horde’s of robots to find this merchant in a build where he is. There are radars macchine that you can destroy to restore your minimap as these machine try to jam you map signal.

There is a area in witch one of the radars are that have prisoners in there. If you save the ghoul and talked to her she will mention General Barnaky. After freeing the prisoners find a way in to the robot main complex area.

The merchant can be found on top of the middle complex build in one of the rooms on top of this building. Use what ever weapon to kill him after you have talked to him.He will be asked to be killed. In a build next to where you find the merchant you will find the General Barnaky body. Pick up the item he have on him. It is a locket that you will be needing for one of the ending when you show to him( must have in inventory by game and still with letter obtain in previous mission). Now head to the evac point.

Once you get to the evac point you be congratuladed on finishing the mission in depressing but a reassuring voice by the General. Do what ever prep for the next mission and start you last mission where you will be going to vault 0. All you have done up to this point have prepared you for the final mission.

19. Inside to Vault 0

I am done with the last mission guide part It is the same part of the guide still(brginners guide). In this gude it is under a differant name.The prep for this mission look at my beginner guide for details on this on how to prep for it.

Vault 0: part 1

This mission you have to transport the nuke you got in a mission to Vault 0 . You need a driver to transport while you advance to the vault door. When the detonate remeber to have power armor on and take rad-x before the dentonation. There will be a time set to get to safety. I will have another picture with numbers put on certain areas with what i did at them. Resault may varie for you if you follow my way of finishing the mission.Thing may not go exactly the same so do not complain to me if it works for you. It just mean that you need to rethink your stratagy just like i did many time in this mission. The way i finish this level is just a rough guide for you to follow or modify to your stratagy to finish this mission. Once the bomb time started in front of the vault you will have one minute to get in to the bunker room with the terminals to make sure all members of the team survive and get in to vault 0. any one out side the out side the bunker room with the terminals in them will be killed by the blast of the warhead.

So far what this is what i found handy for suscess in this mission:
-bring gause rifle, laser ganthiling , small fire arm / energy sniper rifle , missle launcher and lot of medic items ( first aid kit’s and a lot of stimpacks in al sizes )
-using a focus fire and flanking tactic to quickly dispoose of the enemy
-always kill the enemy from a distance if possible
– if robot get close to you use energy weapons to focus fire on one enmey to take them down quickly
-save often incase you die or want to get the suprise first hit on a enemy
– make sure that all party members survive the mission
-have a small fire arm sniper to clear mines feild when spot the mines/ bring enough ammo for this task
-have a lot of energy ammo (4000 rounds max) / rocket ammo(90 max). this number works for me as i just like to carry alot and try to waste the enemy ammo so they come to me to kill them quickly. If you run out of ammo you can just pick it off of the dead corpses.
-pre-mission almost encumber your party member max weight like 1 to 2 pounds off of max weight carry so they run stil .your team member with the almost maximum weight will need not to pick up ammo from the dead corpses unless you run out of ammo off of dead enemies
– destroy all destroyable cover so that the enemy can not use it as cover. oil drum so not destroy unless you have to. Destroy the oil drum when a enemy is near by to do extra damage to them( do not be by one . the enemy sniper may hit them and potentialy kill the party member).
– with a entrench enemy or enclose in a building/cover ( map put in with how i finish the mission at a later date) remeber to focus fire and distract the turret to take it down quickly.
-there are supplie cashes on the map for you to use . just remeber to clear the area around it first to get the supplies safely
-the spider bot if can and you know where they are lead them to your squad so they can focus fire on them to take them down quickly
-the generators if you are not in the mood to kill the turret the hard there is another option. Just like in past mission there were switches to turn turrets off. In this mission you can find the generator’s and destroy them. As a resault they will be shut off and you can pass by by safely.
-i move the warhead carrier vehicle slowly in to the area that i just cleared as i go up the hill.

Into vault 0:

1: Inside there are 2 security bots inside and terminals with info on vault 0. Have a look at the data if you want to. This is the bunker you get in to for safety when you activate the warhead at vault 0 door. Make sure all team members are in the the bunker room with the terminals( Bunker) for team safety. From the vault door area you can climb down the ladder at (7) and go throught the door in to the safe room. Make sure the area (17 , 20 and 7) is cleared before the party get in to the bunker for safety.
2: In this area there are floating bots. Use cover to your advantage to kill them and the robots in area (3)
3: The are a horde of robots in this area. Just sit back and use area ( 2) to your advantage. Use this area to your advatage to kill the bot at guard station at (4) or to kill the bots on the ground/ hill are (6)
4: There is a bot at the guard station. Past the guard station the rode have mines. Use trap skill to detect them. Once mines are spoted use small fire arm to destroy them. You can use the road and cover in area to kill the bots in area (6).
5: There are mines in the area around the turret. Use focus fire to kill the turret quickly. If you want to no to kill the turret then sneak or run past the turret to destroy the generator to turn the turret off.
6: This area there are sniper robots on the hill. use snipers in your group to kill them. There are robots on the gound area below hill that will use there cover to their advantage. You can skip them as you go up the hill. You will kill them still as you go up the hill to vault 0 .
7: This area have 2 spider bots around the ladder. Climb down the ladder and travel through the hall to the room with the terminal for team safety to continue to get in in to vault 0.
9: Becareful if taking this road to area 5. This road robots from area 6 will shoot at you. Up ahead a bit more the turret from area 5 can shoot at you.
10: Just up past the road to 13 area there will be 3 entrench turrert . Try to find a way to snipe 2 out of 3 turrets. After that destroy the robots up past the 10 area rode. Now to deal with the last turret just focus fire on the turret from a safe distance that offer some cover like are 11.
11: In this open area robots from area 13 can shoot you in the open are of 11. The are some robots there that will fire at your team if they go in the open area of 10 to attack the turret and the robots there.
12: generator/ pacification bot
13: The cars and wreckage the robot will use as cover. Use focus fire tactic and flanking tactics to dispose of the enemies here.
14: Destroy the cover on this bridge and focus your fire on the robots on the bridge. Once that group is dead focus fire on the turret just a bit north of the bridge. If you do not want to destroy the turret just destroy the generator north of 15 to turn it off.
15: This bridge will have robots that use the cover there as protection. If possible destroy the cover and the mines by the bridge. Once the cover is destroyed now you can focus fire to kill the robots on the bridges. To the north there will be a generator to turn the turret off at 14 if you had not destroyed it already. On top of the hill there are hover bots. You can snipe them from a distance.
16:generator
17: Clear this area before you head to 18. This area you will face hover bots and spider bots and robots. Make sure the way from 17 to 7 is clear so your arty can get to safety quickly.
18: Destroy the cover so the vehicle can move through here once area 19 and 20 ic clear.
19: In this area there is behemoth robot, turret and a generator. You can destroy the generator to turn the turret off. In area 18 there is a ladder to can climb up to kill the behemoth. Before that happends there is a robot up there that you have to kill first. From this point a sniper should be able to destroy the turrets and the Behemoth robot.
20:By the vault door there are robots and hover bots. Kill the robots before moving proceeding ahead.Before the bomb timing begin to be activated make sure that all party members are in the bunker safe room . The warhead vehicle driver should be able to make it to the bunk safe area in a minute if they run to the bunker. If not then they will be kill in 1 minute out side the bunker.

Vault 0 :part 2

After the bomb dentonation any one that was out side the bunker room with the terminals they will die . Once inside you must deal with the Calculator and his robot minions. The BOS squad in there will act as merchants. You can buy ammo, weapon and medic item off of them. This group will just guard the entrance while you have the fun and labouring part of the mission while the other squad have it easy. If any of the BOS squad warrior(not your party) die when they fight the robot past the door to the rest of the vault . You can pick up all of there items that they have as a merchant. If you run low on cash you can go and pick up the weapon and ammo on the dead robot to sell for it to cover the ammo/medic item cost. I am on this part right now.If you have followed part 1 so far i will put what i did in short description. Think when it is need to use flanking,focus or distracting tactics.You need to do the wings in the following : south,east and north to proceed to the next floor. Remember to use your science skill to unlock terminals that you need to unlock.


1-BOS squad act as a merchants and as help when facing robots in (2)
2-Use BOS squad if you want to. Robot horde in the hallway.
3-Robots in room. Use cover to kill robots in (4 and 5).
4-Robots in hallway leading up to (5).
5-Robots in room. Supplies lock in them as well.
6- 2 robots in this room by room with supplies in them.
7-Robots horde in room . They use their cover wisely.Use the cover to out flank them.
8- Use terminal to unlock east wing and door from (8) to (3) for direct path to (9)
9- Robots are in the hallway and side room south of (10).
10-Friendly vault dweler and robot in this part of the east wing.Do not kill the friendly people/robot in this room. Activate the terminal in this room before heading to (12).
11-Robots and turrets in room. There are dead bodies with supplies on them. Avoid this room and continue to (12). Keep this room locked unless you want the supplies in this room.
12-use vault 0 dweler dead head in (10) to unlock door to north wing
13-Robots and turrets in middle east side of room.
14-Robot in open area. Watch out for radiation that party may get. Walk close to the wall to reduce chance of geting radiation. Use medic item to get rid of effect in party if you have the item.
15-Kill the robots and activate both terminals to continue forward
16-Tank bot in hallway
17-Security bots are in this room
18-generators are in this room. Pacification bot and robots are in this room.
19-spider horde in room also locker with supplies are in this room. Be ready for the spider bot horde when they and other robots in this area when attacking your party.
20-Once the generators are on go to (1) go to the next floor. If you need supplies off of BOS squad get them now before to proceeding to the next floor.

Vault 0 :part 3

I am on this part now. There is no pip boy map to post in this part of the guide. I will just breifly describe the room that you are to enter and what i did just like in the last 2 parts of this mission guide.

1st room: the elevator room
After finish turing the generators on in the first floor you take the elevator down to this floor. Heal the team up and reload all weapons. Do any other prep that you need to do before going in to the room a head of you.

2rd room:
In this room it is filled with robots on all sides. You will get a chance to talk to General Barkly in his robot form. You may have to kill him if you have to. I had to kill him. I first got my squad in to room 1 in to the corners.General Barnakywill attak you unless you have certain misc item found on his dead human body in a mission by the end of the game.By obtaining the misc item on his body and presenting it to him he will be ready to sacrifise him self to restore the vault system back to normal. I got this tip bit of info from a person name Talgaby. The general will come in to this room to attak my squad. I use squad focus fire tactic to take him down. To take down the robots in this room i use snipers to take most of them out while use the enviroment as cover. After 80% of the robots are dead from my snipers i use my heavy energy users send in with cover fire from squad to kill the rest of 20% of the robots. Out side of this room is a bridge that lead to a path to a 3rd room. In this brindge area there are turrets. Use sniper tactics while use cover to your advanrage.

3rd room:
You get to meet the Caculator. Before you get to do this his defances go up and you have to turn them off first to get to him.In this room there are 3 doors that lead to 3 sperate rooms, that you have to go in to.Destroy all the brain cases near the Caculator terminal to open the door on the most left of the east side of the room. Use sniper tactics and use cover to dispose of the enemy in the rooms. first room on the left once enemy on the left are dead use terminal to get to the room north of it. Use a missle launcer or weapon to destroy brain to open the middle room door. The middle room have robot turrets and robots in them. Use snipers tactics and use enviroment to your advantage just like in the prevous room. Kill the brain in this room. Once the brain is dead the third room open use the same tactics and steps in the other two rooms. Once the three brains the sheild around the Caculator around is down. The Caculator will congratulate you for making this far. After talking to the Caculator you can make your choice.Go to the ending part of the guide to see all type of ending.
