Farkle Dice Compendium for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Farkle Dice Compendium

Overview

Got a Lucky playing die and wondering what it does? This guide goes over the uses of each special weighted and loaded Farkle die obtainable in Kingdom Come: Deliverance!

Intro / How to Obtain

I have found no good source on the variety of loaded and weighted dice in the game, so I am making this list to inform people on the uses of these marvelous rare dice!

How do you obtain special dice?

There are a few methods, the most surefire way is to wait for the Riddler wayfarer event or find him on your travels. He always spawns with three special dice (randomly decided) in his inventory. You can obtain them by pickpocketting, knocking him out, or slicing his throat like a lamb in the slaughter. He always comes back eventually.

Another method is treasure hunting. Treasure chests have a good chance to contain special dice.

The third, least reliable confirmed method is the Beggar wayfarer event. Not the female beggar, but the male one, who sells a single heavily discounted stolen item. He tends to sell the Demonic dice the most (Lu, Ci, and Fer) and as such is a good source of a demonic set.

The least surefire method that I reckon doesn’t work too often is pickpocketting gamblers. This is an unconfirmed method, and is based off a hunch I have that some of those louts are using weighted dice!

I also have a Reddit thread made in companion to this Steam guide. I plan to keep both up to date with new die as I find or hear about them!

The Special Dice

NAME
In-Game Description
Effects/Notes
Price
Positive, Neutral, or Negative*
Even die
Playing die loaded in favor of even numbers.
Higher chance (?%) to roll even numbers
50
Neutral if alone, Positive if multiple
Odd die
Playing die loaded in favor of odd numbers.
Higher chance (?%) to roll odd numbers
50
Positive
Lucky playing die
A playing die that brings luck more often than you’d expect.
Seems to affect just the single die, not all dice being played. Higher chance to roll points-scoring numbers
50
Positive
Lucky die
When fortune smiles on you, smile back, otherwise you’ll look suspicious
Similar to the Lucky playing die. More likely to roll 1’s than the Lucky playing die
50
Positive
Henry’s beta die
A playing die that Henry secretly made to bring him luck in love, which is why he’d rather not use it to gamble with.
No known effects. Must have been the die used in beta testing?
50
Neutral
Heavenly Kingdom die
A miraculous playing die, sent from the Heavenly Kingdom to the kingdom of men
Has one side (The 6) with a special symbol. That symbol counts as a six, and when played with two other sixes, will count as a normal triple six.
100
Positive
Holy Trinity die
A blessed die consecrated to the Holy Trinity in the hope of falling on three.
I’m not sure on this one. It has landed on three with no discernible effects. Otherwise a normal die. Needs more testing.
50
Neutral
Lu die
The first in the line of demonic dice.
More often than not lands on the number 6. Useful when paired with similar die in a set.
50
Negative / Neutral if alone, Positive if multiple
Ci die
The second in the line of demonic dice.
Ditto
50
Negative / Neutral if alone, Positive if multiple
Fer die
The third and last in the line of demonic dice.
Ditto
50
Negative / Neutral if alone, Positive if multiple
Strip die
Legend had it that this die can strip more than one maiden.
No “special” affects, other than slight dice weighting towards 1 and 6
50
Neutral
Unpopular die
Sometimes the dice fall well, sometimes not. This one probably not.
High chance to roll three or below, but three more oten than one or two.
50
Negative
Biased die
A playing die someone tried to load to their advantage, but they didn’t do a very good job.
Weighted towards one, two, and six. Two being the most common roll.
50
Negative
Die of misfortune
A playing die that you’d be better off throwing as far away as possible
Weighted to roll two through five.
50
Neutral / Negative (Twos aren’t very good in triples, points-wise. Same with fours. Better off using the other limited range dice, since you rarely roll ones with this die)
Shrinking playing die
One of the few properly loaded dice, loaded in favor of it’s holder
Apparently rolls well, but is weighted towards one and six
50
Neutral

* Positive/Neutal/Negative is based on how useful the die is towards winning a game of Farkle. Of course, all dice will be useful in a set with three or more of a kind, but this guide does not assume that unless stated.

Dice that I heard were in the game but actually probably aren’t

NAME
In-Game Description
Effects/Notes
Price
Positive, Neutral, or Negative*
(Low die?)
? (I haven’t seen this one myself)
More often than not rolls three or below
50
Positive (More ones!) Useful in a set.
((High die?))
? (Theorized, based on the existence of the Low die)
More often than not rolls four or above
50
Positive (More fives!) More useful in a set, as fives are only 50 points.

Dice Weight Table

This Weight table lists the weight score, between 0 (unweighted) to 10 (heavy weight) for each side of the die, 1-6. A 10 weight does not mean it will only roll those numbers, but rather it has a much higher chance of rolling that number. An Even die still rolls ones, threes, and fives.

I am taking the weighting information from the KC:D Vidyawiki,[kingdom-come-deliverance.vidyawiki.com] so I am uncertain of the source of these values. I would assume it was taken straight from the game code. Take these values with a grain of salt because from my experiences, the dice behave differently. This might just be the luck of the draw tho so what do I know ¯_(ツ)_/¯
