Feinting using "E" Abort Attack to prevent getting Master Striked for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Feinting using “E” Abort Attack to prevent getting Master Striked

Overview

Here is how to Feint using “Abort Attack” to deal with enemy Master Strikes.

Feinting in the tutorial

The tutorial explains it as holding up your sword a certain angle, waiting for the enemy to match your weapon’s position, then striking from a different side. Everyone’s experience with this has been abysmal and it isn’t a reliable way of preventing your attack from getting Perfect Blocked or Master Striked.

Cancel your stance first and then strike

By default, bound to “E” on the PC. Hold up your sword, cancel your attack by pressing “E”, then quickly strike from a different angle. Doing it this way reduces the chance that the enemy will master strike you.
