FFB: A Thrustmaster T300 user’s experience

Overview

Trials and Tribulations of a T300 user. How ffb works and my current settings.

::UPDATE:: After the new FFB Patch be sure to re-calibrate your Wheel.

I even loaded my wheels profile again. And reset my wheel ffb settings in game to default. And tuned from there.
Default Advanced Settings.

Currently these are my Vibration & Feedback settings:
Self Aligning Torque – 90
Wheel Friction ——– 15
Tire Friction ———— 70
Suspension ———— 94

Big takeaways are:
The suspension(bumps) is a bit over done so I’ve bumped it down (felt it faintly pre-patch with S.A.T. lowered but I digress ((was the problem really a misplaced decimal…?!)) As usual wheel friction interferes a bit and needs to be severely reduced to around 20% (removing it completely takes away some tire detail). Self Aligning Torque is still a bit strong out of the box so I bumped it down 5% and I think tire friction is just personal preference.

OLD info But for now these diagrams give examples of what ffb signal is and what clipping is.
