Who is this guide for?
In the STEAM-Nexomon discussion forum the question arose frequently, where to find the 4 missing friends of the story character Nexomon “Mandrass”.
The following background:
In the Netherworld (… after you have completed the normal world and beat Omnicron…), you have to find all 4 friends of a Mandrass in a section of the wind nightmare”.
This Mandrass is blocking your way and will not let you through until you have found his 4 friends (also all Mandrass).
The problem is that if you want to push the story further, you have to get past this Mandrass.
However, many STEAM users simply could not find the 4th Mandrass and were of the opinion that it could even be a bug in the game.
I hope this guide can change your mind! 😉
Für wen ist dieser Guide gedacht?
Im STEAM-Nexomon-Diskussionsforum kam häufiger die Frage auf wo man die 4 vermissten Freunde vom Story-Charakter-Nexomon “Mandrass” findet.
Hierzu folgender Hintergrund:
In der Netherwelt (…nachdem ihr die “normale” Welt abgeschlossen und Omnicron besiegt habt…), muss man in einem Abschnitt des “Wind-Albtraums”, alle 4 Freunde eines Mandrass finden.
Dieses Mandrass blockiert euch den Weg und lässt euch nicht durch, bis ihr seine 4 Freunde (ebenfalls alle Mandrass) gefunden habt.
Das Problem ist, dass man an diesem Mandrass vorbei muss, wenn man die Story weiter voran treiben will.
Viele STEAM-User konnten das 4te Mandrass aber einfach nicht finden und waren der Ansicht, dass es sich sogar um einen Bug im Spiel handeln könnte.
Ich hoffe dass dieser Guide ihre Meinung ändern kann! 😉

What’s the area: “Wind Nightmare”?
The wind nightmare is a certain area in the Netherworld that you have to enter through a portal. The entrance to this zone has an image of the element “Wind” on the access portal and the portal is surrounded on the left and right by wind turbines.

Der Wind-Albtraum ist ein gewisser Bereich in der Netherwelt, den man durch ein Portal betreten muss. Der Eingang für diese Zone hat am Zugangsportal eine Abbildung vom Element “Wind” und das Portal ist links und rechts von Windrädern umgeben.

Start of the mission: “Find the 4 friends of Mandrass”
As soon as you are in the wind nightmare, sooner or later you will come to this zone, where the big Mandrass gets you into a conversation as soon as you get close:
Beginn der Mission: “Finde die 4 Freunde von Mandrass”
Sobald ihr im Wind-Albtraum unterwegs seid, kommt ihr früher oder später in diese Zone, wo euch das große Mandrass in ein Gespräch verwickelt sobald ihr in die Nähe kommt:

This Mandrass now asks you to find its 4 friends, who are also all Mandrass.
It is only from this moment that the 4 mandras, you need to look for, appear in the different zones of the wind nightmare.
These Mandrass, like the other NPCs, simply stand around in different areas of the wind nightmare and do NOT have to be found, defeated or caught in random encounters and also do not require any space in your team or your Nexobox.
Just speak to them to “pick them up”.
Dieses Mandrass bittet euch nun seine 4 Freunde zu finden, die ebenfalls alle Mandrass sind.
Erst ab diesem Moment tauchen in den verschiedenen Zonen des Wind-Albtraums die 4 Mandrass auf nach denen ihr suchen müsst.
Diese Mandrass stehen, wie auch die anderen NPCs, einfach in verschiedenen Bereichen des Wind-Albtraums rum und müssen NICHT in Zufallsbegegnungen gefunden, besiegt oder gefangen werden und benötigen des Weiteren auch keinen Platz in eurem Team oder eurer Nexobox.
Sprecht sie einfach an um sie “aufzunehmen”.

The crux of the matter (and that’s why many have not found the 4th Mandrass) is that these Mandrass not only appear in the combat zones, but also in the city of the wind nightmare and even in the Nexo-Store building of the city.
This means that after the meeting with the large Mandrass, you also have to return to previous wind nightmare zones to find all the small Mandrass.
But the following screenshots should help you to find all the 4 Mandrass:
Das gemeine an der Sache ist (und das ist auch der Grund warum viele das 4te Mandrass nicht gefunden haben), dass diese Mandrass nicht nur in den Kampfzonen auftauchen, sondern unter anderem auch in der Stadt des Wind-Albtraumes und sogar im Nexo-Store Gebäude der Stadt.
Das bedeutet, dass ihr nach dem Meeting mit dem großen Mandrass auch in vorherige Wind-Albtraum-Zonen zurückkehren müsst um alle kleinen Mandrass zu finden.
Folgende Screenshots sollten euch aber helfen die 4 Mandrass zu finden:

With each Mandrass found, you will also receive informations from your (invisible) companions as to whether you need to find more Mandrass or whether you have all of them together.
(But count yourself to 4 shouldn’t be that difficult … ;-))
After you have found all 4 friends, you simply return to the large Mandrass which finally clears the way for further adventures.
Mit jedem gefunden Mandrass bekommt ihr außerdem von euren (unsichtbaren) Begleitern den Hinweis, ob ihr noch weitere Mandrass finden müsst oder ob ihr alle beieinander habt.
(Selbst bis 4 zu zählen sollte aber auch nicht so schwierig sein…. 😉 )
Nachdem ihr nun alle 4 Freunde gefunden habt kehrt ihr einfach zum großen Mandrass zurück, was euch nun endlich den Weg frei macht für weitere Abenteuer.
